Avan looked at Cress as if he was speaking another language. "D-Do you mean training?"
Honestly this would be an entirely new concept to Avan. Kali and Baku never trained for anything. It was more just 'lets go along and see how things turn out'. No preparation ever.

Avan would have liked that; to just get the battle over with. HOWEVER, as easy that would have been, it would certainly mean a defeat in their case. "No. Even I'm not that dumb." The boy went to shake Cress' hand. "We'll prepare and come back."
"By the way...I never got your name."

Cress nodded, "of course."
He shook Avan's hand and said, "I'm a Water-type specialist, and my name is Cress. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Cress... Avan blushed ever so slightly. What a name. It fit the gym leader well; well, Avan thought so anyways. The boy reintroduced himself. "Nice to meet you as well."
Taking back his hand and focusing on the feeling the gym leader had left behind upon it, Avan thanked him for the advice and left the gym.
"I'll be back."

Outside Avan bit his bottom lip and grinned. This was just due to him getting to touch Cress. He was strange lad. But the feeling of glee quickly left. He had to get serious now. With a heavy sigh he called Baku from his ball.
The plump tapir pokemon shook off being in the ball and looked at Avan. "We, apparently, should train." The boy stated. The Munna's eyes widened. This was, again, not the Avan he knew. "We have a gym match, if you're wondering." The Munna grinned. The pokemon knew this was an eventuality. After all, the boy dreamed, once in awhile, of fighting gym matches; and they say that dreams are portals to the subconscious and often depict something the person wants.
Avan continued to speak and walk. "The match will be utilizing Kali. So we can't fight any normal types to train against. Baku, do you know any spots with non-normal types?"
The Munna's eye lit up and he sped off toward Route 3. Avan followed, far behind, but in the general direction.

Kijin blinks and looks at her going to say something but stops mid way and starts to tap his chin thinking about it,"Hmm to be honest I was never told his name he just came to the alleyway and help stop a battle...if that helps?" He says still not sure who she was but for the moment he wasn't in any hurry.

Genie looked at Kijin and furrowed her brows and frowned. "That, uh, n-
"Ah, you came by!" Cress said as he approached them from behind. Genie spun to face him, and if one looked close enough they might say her eyes looked similar to hearts.
"Could you get me some water, please?" he asked and she nodded and hurried off and then Cress turned to face Kijin.
"I suppose you didn't see him leave, then?" Cress said as he gestured in the direction in which Avan had just left.
"Trivial, really. Please, come this way, I have a few questions for you," he said as he turned and pointed toward the back of the gym, where the arena was and he started toward it.

Henrietta handed Melty over to the nurse and got a room for the day. Free with a trainer license, luckily. She showered and dressed herself and left the center short of thirty minutes.
Dressed in running shoes, skinny jeans and a sweater(despite the sprint warmth), she put her bag on herself where it hung at her side and checked Melty through his ball.
As she walked up to Robby she said, "I'm ready, s-sorry for the wait."

Robby had found a bench that would support his weight after about a minute or two. It lasted twenty minutes before someone chased him off, deciding he must have weighed too much to be on there. It was only shortly after that the lillipup girl came back.
"No problem." He quashed the questions of food that would have otherwise flowed perfectly. For a moment. Then he said: "Where are we getting food from?"

Kijin nodded lightly and started to follow the gym leader to the back of the gym. He sighs lightly following him to the back of the arena, his hand still on his chest a bit as he continues to move after him. Knowing that he was going to get chewed out for the battle let alone letting it get as far as it did but he was expecting that.

But Cress had no intention of chewing Kijin out. Not yet anyways. The two reached the arena and Cress turned to face Kijin and he said, "would you please tell me what happened?"

Kijin follows him to the spot in the arena his hands still in his pocket as he looks at him he would sigh before looking at him,"I will but first things first my name is Kijin." He says in his normal tone then starts to talk about how he came across the two already knocked on the ground. He told him of how he wanted to end the battle but was told not to interfere and simply stood there as a judge hopping to not let it get too far, but by obvious observation the battle got too out of hand even for him he tried the best he could to protect the two but it got too out of hand too quickly. After telling him all the information that he could think of he tapped his arm then looked up at him again. "There is one last thing I need to ask you, are there are pokemon that reside near the hospital?"

Cress introduced himself after Kijin and then he listened to Kijin's tale of the events. It was much more interesting than Avan's, but it still lacked the cool dialogue that makes something 'in ones own words'.
By the time Kijin was finished the two would find themselves in the arena. It wasn't for any battle related reason, mind you, Cress just preferred to keep the serious discussion away from the ears of the restaurant goers.
"A Pokemon near the hospital? Well, it's not uncommon for Pokemon to wander into towns and cities, regardless of the buildings. Why do you ask?"

Kijin looked over at him with a serious look on his face before looking around and back then crossed his arms."There was large amount of deaths at the hospital last night and before you day anything I know people will die at the hospital but this was different." He would tap his chin as he tries to remember what some of nurses had said. "Apparently people all over the hospital all died in one night some of them were just recovering from surgery others had been in there for months with no signs of even getting close to death."
"Something happened in that hospital and I think I might have a idea of what happened or more like who caused it."
