Sadly ice machine at work is broken, and hasn't been fixed in I do not know how long. I have the little fan on top of a large roll of filling packing paper to boost it up off the desk, no room for a cup of anything up there with it. And the way items are coming and going off the desk with vibrations, would end up knocking ice all over...well, water, would melt as soon as it got back there.
You'd think, but they said hot weather would 'slow it' and then the greatest smartest cheeto in the world said 'by april it should be stopped because it is SO hot' ....april gets about 60-75 degrees.... not gonna stop a pandemic virus.

Your's and my thoughts too. Economy can bounce back, they were surprised when ours shot back up more or less. Some of the smaller businesses are still hurting, and I get that because the government wont help them with s**t. scream If they had carried the smaller businesses, some of the medium ones too, and said screw you to the bigger ones, and made the bigger ones that were allowed to stay open pay their employees better and take stricter measures, think it would bounce back to semi-normal just as quick. People have proven they're stupid and cant stay home anyway, they'd flood out as soon as they could to spend money.

As a coworker and I were talking about, it takes longer in some states to get a license to CUT HAIR than it does to become an officer, tasked with saving lives, carrying a weapon and protecting everyone's rights. Glad to hear you are doing well the stress level in the US is at an all time high so there is a lot of negative news going around which can really bum people out, so I always hope for the best especially for peoples mental state. I laughed when I first heard the term "essential" since retail workers have never been considered important when actually the US runs so heavily on retail and stores. I am hoping that people realize how important retail/ food services are and start giving them more respect and a higher pay. Personally I work freelance/commission so I am not on the front lines during this pandemic which is good for me since I have a compromised immune system. yum_puddi I was on some heavy duty steroids for an allergic reaction, so was off work for almost 3 weeks. It was a nice change of pace.... even while feeling miserable with poison ivy. biggrin I work for a big box home improvement store, a very greedy corporation. We've remained open the whole time, we have longer work days to compensate for half of our staff being out, it's not unusual to be scheduled up to 10 days in a row occasionally, all while wearing a polyester (plastic) vest in a building with insufficient A/C and wearing a mask. Customers are inconsiderate and ungrateful. During the period when told to remain home unless they had to have an essential item, they were in our store buying decking material and mulch. So, I'm not seeing the respect, nor will we be seeing any raise. emotion_donotwant I understand I have asthma so I grew up taking steroids I honestly hate any medicine but, I hope you are feeling better! I am sorry to hear about that I have noticed where I live Lowes and Home Depot have stayed open which I could understand if I didn't see over 100 people waiting outside in a line to buy mulch or paint (not sure why you would be painting your house in the middle of a pandemic lol)... sadly everyplace I have worked retail is greedy I rememeber when I worked at khols everyone was rude (workers and customers) and the only saving grace was the owners mother would come in and give me candy b/c I looked 13 even though I was 20 lol. I know it doesn't mean much, but I appreciate your hard work and sacrifice! I heavily support higher wages for retail/food services and hope to see change in the future! To be honest I don't know how this country would survive if all the retail workers/food service workers just went on strike lol yum_puddi |

I agree, some themes are a pain to think up things for, at that time usually start tossing things on until I like it, or scrap it and give up.
...NP late replays are always accepted it is common for people to have lives outside of their hobbies lol... Sounds fun, I cook 80% of what I eat so to me it taste pretty good... I made meat loaf with bannana peppers, mash potatoes and green peas. I cook a lot of comfort food so normally I cook southern US, Italian, and the occasional taco or kabobs. I agree tap water only taste good ice cold even then I sometimes put fruit in it lol... catwalk has tons of themes I think they have 20 themes that never change such as video game, movie, rare, cute,etc. and then 3 themes that change daily and you get 10,000 platinum if you win 1st place and the amount goes down from there and sometimes gaia cash as well... 1 theme of the day is always free to enter the others you have to buy or earn tickets for. it takes only a minute to enter i am pretty sure that is the only thing i use the phone app for everything else i just turn on my pc and play that way. normally runways and catwalks themes never line up there is occasion where a theme will be popular like zelda and it will show up on both. yum_puddi |

You know it's bad when you make over $1 mil in one day during a quarantine. confused I have 2 friends out indefinitely from work because of asthma. 3nodding ... yeah sadly though most companies don't care much for their employees I hope work conditions get better or people get increased pay b/c they honestly deserve it. Never tried fruit in my water, think it would be a waste, would taste only mildly like fruit, the fruit itself would be water logged and useless. Just my opinion. If I have it on hand, those 'flavor enhancers' for water work well. Otherwise a big a** case of black cherry propel water.
