"Well then lets get moving," Whit said coming up behind Avery, climbing out of the hole and lifting her out in one motion. He turned to see if Zaias followed but the guy was up and out and looking at the path of broken shrubbery intensely.

Zaias started to move, and after sharing a brief look with Avery, they followed.

Rei and Cheren stared out of the edge of the forest. The girl gave Cheren a look which made him shudder and close his eyes. Within a few moments, the two, along with their plant-package and its contents, were not only shielded from telepaths who may try to find them, but also shielded from passerby. It was a sort of mind manipulation, simply blocking their image from other's minds. It wasn't a skill many telepaths possessed, and it was one of the reasons he was with the gang in the first place. Rei slapped Cheren, 'congratulating' him on not failing, and pulled him along, hurrying so that they would make it before his energy ran out.

Avery left the tunnel holding Whit's hand and decided to keep it there as she felt an odd building sensation. Her own powers were ramped up to the max. She swore she could almost hear the kidnappers up ahead and smell Ali's strawberry shampoo.

She felt the telepath's powers and walked faster to keep up with Zaias, who would be running if it weren't for the darkness closing in and the unfamiliar ground.

Cheren, focusing on keeping him and Rei shielded, didn't realize the danger of sensory powers. That, and the fact that from so far away Jordan could see him if she went up high enough to look. After all, his mental-sight block had a fairly limited range, given the energy it took. The two -or rather four, counting hostages- thudded down the pavement, running down city streets. Their destination, a tall building that Avery may recognize, could be seen poking over some of the shorter ones.

Jordan tried to check to make sure everyone had made it up. She'd make a good 'rear guard' to make sure no one got left behind: Avery looked to be perfect for leading everyone for now.

Gold - Invisibility — Blue - Water

Blinking her eyes twice, Kristaine tried to piece together the information. Someone kidnapped this Ali... And... Gah! She shook her head a couple of times, hoping to clear her thoughts. "Uh.. This Ali... Who exactly is—" Kristaine was cut off when Seele suddenly dug his sharp claws into her hair and meowed. That meant people were coming. "Seele... Please spare my brain," she whined, reaching up to rub her cat's sleek coat.

Kristaine could hear a couple of voices. Very faint.. but absolutely real. "Let's go to them! You did say we're in charge of gathering back up or something!" She grabbed Dannie's wrist with her free hand and started to drag, heading towards the voices.

Dannie followed along, also curious about the voices outside. Hopefully they were prefects or some student council people come to help out or something. This one time, she didn't mind it if Kristaine dragged her by the hand because she too was curious about how things were unfolding.

Alex had gone back out of the hole in shadow form and turned back into human form once he exited the building. He listened around carefully for anything suspicious.


Christopher was using his mind reading powers to pinpoint the villains. "Hmm, they might be putting up a mental barrier. I can hear something, but it's faint" he said.

"Yeah they're definitely fuzzy, Jedi mind tricks are in the works Chrissy." Avery said as she squinted ahead of the group. Zaias was following the fairly obvious trail of crushed brush, but his luck would soon run out, as the cracked branches and dead leaves soon came to a dead end where the woods broke through the school fence and onto a residential road. Other than a few twigs that might indicate direction, there was no one in sight.

But that was the good thing about being a sensory talent, and having friends who could fly.

Avery looked closely at the ground and hyped up her sight, she could faintly see a pattern in forest loam dirt particles that indicated the bad guys went that-a-way.

"Jordan" she called and pointed up and over.

Jordan perked up and quickly fly-hopped up to the front of their group. "What's up?" she said reflexively. Then, when she realized what Avery was getting at, "Oh, that way?" She flew up above the trees and peered at the edge of the forest. She couldn't see anything yet, but... "Hey! Avery, I'm gonna stay up here, you follow me, okay?" She flew ahead and up to get a birds' eye view, but not so far Avery couldn't sense her. Luckily, it wasn't long before she spotted the rather conspicuous pair. Being a couple hundred feet in the air, she was far enough away that the mind-block didn't work. Her eyes narrowed as she watched them disappear into a rather tall, official-looking building. Jordan spent a little while making sure they didn't come back out, then zipped down to the ground to meet the others at the edge of the forest.

Spencer saw Jordan land after she did some observation work. "So what did you find? Do you know where they went?" he asked. This was not the kind of day he had expected it to be. He wondered how the graduation ceremonies were doing and if it had been disrupted.

Jordan huffed out a breath, a little winded from all the quick flying. It was a very windy day. "I saw two people -the ones who came out of that hole- and this weird plant thing go into a big building about...that direction," she said, pointing. "You coming along too then?" she asked Spencer, avoiding the overused at this point "What are you doing here?".

"Good job J" Avery said smiling. "Think you can lead us there on the streets or do you need to go up again?" she asked the girl seeing Zaias fairly steaming at the ears waiting for a response.

"Plants..." Christopher muttered to himself, then thought of something. "Do you suppose it's those people we found in the bottom of the library those few months ago?" he suggested.
