Pfft. At the rate those ******** multiply and reproduce, they can afford to have a few thousand of them just explode while attached to enemies.
And there is already elemental "bending". Naruto is full of it. Haku: Waterbender; Gaara: Earthbender; Sasuke: Firebender. (Because ninjas are magic.)
