Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar paced uneasily by the shore of the Lake closest to the school. His father had instructed him to become diplomatic with the school. To keep them from creating anymore horrible beings, but Ammar believed it to be a false hope. The discussion with his father became an argument, until the centaur was forced to be still. Arguing with an elder was forbidden, especially if the elder is the centaur leader. Ammar had only the option of taking his bow and arrows and doing as instructed.
He turned roughly, pacing back over ground he had already worn down with his hooves. What was taking them so long? He, himself, had to intercept them and see how many were coming. How many more would haunt the borders of his people's forest. The Headmistress of the school had allowed this much.
Ammar looked up to see small boats on the surface of the Lake.”It is resilient and determined to win”

Jadyn smiled towards Jack. "Well, then I think we should hang out after sorting, no matter what house we each get put in." The cool breeze picked up again, causing Jadyn's robes to flutter slightly and he wrapped them tighter around himself to try and insulate against the brisk night. He looked around them, once again hoping that the rest of the first years would soon catch up and make their way into the boats. Something appeared in the corner of his eyes, and his gaze came to rest on the shore of the lake near the forest. Waiting there, pacing back and forth in what seemed like a somewhat agitated fashion, was something Jadyn had only read about and heard stories of from his parents. Never in his life did he think he would see one in person. The creature had the body of a horse, which transformed into that of a human appearance when it reached the torso. The human features on the face appeared just as agitated as the creature's pacing. It was a centaur. Jadyn gasped. He stood, perhaps too quickly, causing the boat to rock uncomfortably in the water. He pointed in the direction of the centuar. "Do you guys see that!" he exclaimed excitedly, unintentionally causing the boat to rock even more.

I think I'll go for a walk,
Maybe out in the rain,
Maybe there'll be tears rolling down my face... Oh my god, I'm gonna drown. Jack quickly grabbed hold of the seat beneath her, panicking slightly at the thought of Jadyn tipping the boat. "Calm your horses." She looked to where Jadyn's gaze had turned to, also seeing the creature. "I heard that they went crazy last year and attacked the castle. Hope that doesn't happen again. Is that man crazy...?" ...And I'd feel the pain. Maybe think about something? Maybe think about you?

Rose turned when she heard a boy from one of the other boats say he saw something. She turned to look and her eyes widened. A smile spread across her face. This is the first magical creature that she had ever seen. He looked so majestic, despite the restlessness it had. She hoped that it would be a kind creature. She had heard stories of some not being very accepting of some people.

Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar stopped his pacing and turned to face the man who spoke to him. He was an odd man, standing out here, with glass in front of his eyes. Ammar had been told stories of Harry Potter, who also wore glass in front of his eyes. The centaurs thought it a good joke, and he, himself, couldn't help but smile at the sight. This man creature also had strange eyes; one was blue and the other yellow. To Ammar's people, it was a sign of intelligence.
He glanced over his shoulder at the boats, then reluctantly turned to face the man, "My business is my own, man creature. If you wish to question my being here, then speak with your tribe leader,"
With that, Ammar puffed out his chest, a sign of his people that the conversation was finished and there was nothing more to talk about. He then turned to face the Lake, watching. The man had been polite, a surprise to Ammar.”It is resilient and determined to win”

Austin had been staring into the depths of the lake when someone shouted "Do you guys see that!" Austin snapped his eyes up and looked around quickly. He finally saw it. A centaur. "Odd. Dad said they never came near the castle" he said aloud to no one.

Sparrow Farrell----First Year----
Sparrow stared wide eyed at the Centaur. She had heard of the centaur that occupied the forbidden forest, but she never expected to see one. She thought he was magnificent and beautiful. Probably very smart as well. She wondered what he meant by 'tribe leader' and couldn't help but stare and whisper, "Magnificent!" She was extremely intrigued by the centaur and wondered what he was up to.

Cœur watched as more and more of her classmates piled into the waiting boats, and she was slightly surprised that no one had attempted to board hers. Shrugging her shoulders, she relaxed in the center of the small vessel, reminiscing about the past...
A small girl was sitting in a small field on checkered cloth, a beach in view. Surrounding her were three boys and another girl, all who were sitting as well. They had food spread out, and often one of the children would grab something to snack on. They appeared to be chatting, and in between sentences, they would sometimes laugh. Time passed, and the sunlight started trickling away...
A gust of wind smacked the girl in the face, and Cœur was pulled away from her daydream. Are we there yet? She grinned mischievously.

((You guys should start heading over in the boats O.o )) Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar hesitated for a moment, thinking about the situation. He sighed, feeling his own muscles relax as the breath passed his lips, "Very well then. However, I ask that you please do not touch me,"
The centaur glanced at Zander for a moment, "Why is it that you are not ready to go in yet?" Ammar asked softly. These creatures were strange, indeed.”It is resilient and determined to win”

Rose remembered her brother, Dante, telling her that he had snuck into the forest the year before and saw the teachers speaking with such a creature. She wondered if it was the same one. The boats moved slowly across the water and she wished so much to see the creature up close. She even wanted to tell him how beautiful he looked.

Ammar”Nature should never be forgot”Ammar listened carefully to what the man had to say. He hadn't even noticed that the man lacked an arm. It caught Ammar by surprise, but he did not show it, "You would be accepted as a hero in my tribe," the centaur glanced back down at Zander for a moment, then returned to watch the boats, "Your lack of an arm would be honorable, and the colors of your eyes would be a symbol of intelligence. You would be a revered symbol of my people,"”It is resilient and determined to win”

http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o184/redsandy001/redhairMaxStudio.jpg I think I'll go for a walk,
Maybe out in the rain,
Maybe there'll be tears rolling down my face... "Do you think that they're going to allow us into the castle soon?", Maybe she was just a bit antsy, but the longer they sat in the boats the more she wanted her journey at Hogwarts to begin. She, for the first time in her life, had something to actually be excited about, and it was just a boat's ride away from happening. ...And I'd feel the pain.
Maybe think about something?
Maybe think about you?
