__ Just one, but it was enough for now. Ada didn't have time to answer if she was ready to go, so she just showed that she was instead. Just like before she magnetically tethered herself to her sempai. In a blur she'd be leaving Takumi's gates with her fellow Kumogakure ninja.

Finally arriving at the gates, a sigh of relief was spewed forth. Another long journey was finally completed. Houou collapsed to the floor just inside the Saimon gates. Leaning against the sturdy wall, he would catch his breath while resting his feet. He needed to find the closest source of water to quench his thirst. Looking up at Luna he was very happy to see that she made it to her destination safely. The young girl was definitely not cut out for battle just yet but she had the determination to better herself none the less.

"there is no need to rush into battle my young friend, and I hope when you do, that you fight for a cause and not just Ryo. The world will need your skills one day soon blood falcon. I want you to work hard at bettering yourself because this world will not always be kind to you."

Houou still did not want to leave the young girl al on her own, however he had very important matters to attend to. But he would not leave her without gifting her with one more item.

"here I want you to use this if ever you need my assistance. It will be able to reach me no matter the distance between us. But remember, this is no toy, use it only if necessary."

Houou then adjusted a knob on to a private station and handed Blood falcon the small black untraceable radio. Flashing her one last warm smile before they were to part ways.

When Hououo suddenly collapsed, Luna was quick to start worrying. She bent over the collapsed Houou, body swaying this way and that as she tried to find out what was wrong and how she could help. Her face, somehow, managed to pull off looking both expressionless and worried. However, before she could find the cause of his woes, Houou started talking again. Soon after talking was a gift. Then, right after the gift, it was time to part ways. Luna watched Houou's receding back, clasping the strange, black device to her chest. It seemed... she was left alone again... but at least this time there was hope of seeing Houou once more. Instead of lingering for too long, Luna walked into the streets of Takumi.

The saimon gates were unbelievably busy. Houou had never realized the amount of traffic this this small village produced in a single day. Knowing that he would be meeting up with several shinobi from Kirigakure, Houou decided it would be best to sit and wait here at the entrance. However, there were several errands he still had to attend to, lest he miss an opportunity to reunite with his comrades. First he would need refill his supplies and find a suitable wood for his new mask. Picking himself up, Houou made his way to the closest shop in town.

Houou returned to the Saimon gates, hidden behind his new mask. Sitting at the gate entrance he would wait for any sign of the Takumi shinobi's arrival for the escort mission.

Coming out of his meditative state, Houou returned to reality and quit pretending he was a tree. He had sensed a very familiar chakra in the area. looking up, he was graced with the presence of Shishin as beautiful Artemis. Houou leapt to his feet and ran over to the familiar face of his teammate.
"Artemis! It's good to see your face, friend. I hope the journey here was smooth."
Houou said as he offered Artemis his gourd of fresh water.
"i hope you aren't too tired. I figured we could take a mission from an associate of Magnus' here in town.

Tsubame was watching her brothers sparring with her father from the large window of their noble home that overlooked the training grounds. With her, she carried Tetsuya's bokken, her eldest brother. She admired him a lot, not only because he spoiled the living spirits out of her, but she considered him a very skilled warrior. She wanted to be just as skillful as he was with the blade, vowing to herself she'd become a Samurai. As she observed her two brothers performing basic sword kata, she followed along. Performing a basic thrust with the weapon as they did, and mimicking their footwork. A few more times she'd swing her weapon, aiming for different points in the air in front of her. Even placing the bokken at her side and performing the iconic Iaido technique, that Samurai were famous for. The first time, the bokken slipped from her hand, but she managed to get it right the second time. From thrusts, to slashes, all in different angles, and with surprising efficiency for a young girl. She felt like it was completely normal for her to wield a sword. Tsu could hear them quite well as the window was cracked open, "Good, Tetsuya; Kenshin. Focus more chakra into your blades now." Her father spoke with a tone that was somewhat oppressive by nature. It was to be expected, however. All Ashikaga Samurai were trained intensively. Tsu gripped the hilt of her bokken and focused on the center of her chakra, channeling it through the weapon with relative ease. It was almost quite natural for her. Continuing to observe, she'd practice striking with her blade, but using it to deflect, while maneuvering herself with her body to close in and use her hand, elbow, knee, shin, or foot to attack. A weapon was an extension of oneself, so understanding the body was still important. She understood that much, at least. Her brothers were performing some kind of leaping slash in the middle of their kata practice. Tsu followed, gripping the hilt tight in her hands and preparing to leap. When she did, she jumped high, slashing down with her sword, and bending her knees as she landed to reduce the impact. Now more footwork and stances were getting involved, as her father instructed them to enter a specific stance. She followed, this stance feeling somewhat loose in nature, allowing her to move unhindered. She had plenty of motion with her arms, and the position itself allowed for a multitude of mobility options. At the next command, they were shifting into another stance. This stance was more grounded, and as Tsu mimicked them, she felt much more stable. Like she could hold her ground against a heavy assault, with an exhale of breath, she swung her sword downwards before being it back to resting position. Thrusting her blade forward in time with her brothers' movements, she mimicked them carefully, placing her hand on the side of the bokken and thrusting forward as if she were pushing someone, to knock them back. She felt it was purely defensive, but Samurai were skilled in both offense and defense, so it was expected. Tsu began practicing her footwork, moving about as she wielded her bokken. It was surprisingly graceful, and almost elegant. Her feet shuffled about, with her sword being swung from many different angles. She slashed upward once, following behind it with another upward slash. Immediately after the second one, she spun on the tip of her toes while maintaining great balance. She stopped, facing the opposite way, performing another double upwards slash, one after the other. From there she regained her composure returning to a neutral position. She then swung outward horizontally in an arc, bending her knees and dropping low to the ground. Her balance was pretty great given her daily practice. Using the momentum, she slashed outward again from her low position. Raising back onto her feet she began channeling chakra through the bokken once again. She focused really carefully so she could coat the sword evenly with her chakra. Once it was covered evenly, she began performing pivoting blocks. It required a lot of power from the hips, and she remembered this. As she pivoted while holding her blade, she focused even harder on channeling chakra through the blade. Much more than normal, to perform another technique famously known by samurai. The first attempt was much like her first intention when channeling chakra through the blade but it was not nearly enough. Even from where she was standing, she could see the chakra on her brother's blade crackling with an aura of chakra. While practicing her blocking technique while pivoting her hips, she got a steady rhythm going while focusing on her chakra. She wanted very much to succeed with the technique, like her brothers. She focused intensely on her chakra, sweating from the concentration, surprised when her bokken was surrounded in a flurry of chakra. Smiling, she gripped her bokken and thrust forward, 'retrieving' the blade just as quickly as she did so. Returning the bokken close to her, she flicked the blade vertically, slashing both upwards, and then downwards. Her bokken was still glowing with her chakra at this point, and she continued to watch her brothers as she swung the blade to and fro. Though, intrigued with the chakra around her blade, she wanted to focus on manipulating that more. It seemed creative, wielding a weapon, and manifesting one's chakra through that weapon, to be used as a weapon. Focusing on her chakra again, she extended the aura of chakra that surrounded her bokken, manipulating it into the size of a normal katana. The chakra began extending well past the point of the wooden construct, giving her some form of 'chakra blade' so to speak. Tsu smiled in awe, keeping concentrated as to not mess up the progress she was making. One the chakra took its katana form and shape, she was surprised to see a visual difference in the chakra surrounding her blade. It rippled around it like water, as if possessing a might force within, as powerful as the ocean itself. Tsu swung the blade a few times carefully, testing its strength and her own concentration. With one normal swing, she noticed a blade of chakra following after her initial strike. She practiced this a few more times, watching the chakra follow behind all of her bokken's movements. Giggling with happiness, she looked down at her brothers training just in time to see them launch a blade of chakra from their weapons. Taking a similar stance, she swung, and a wave of chakra emitted from her blade just like theirs. It wasn't nearly as possible, dissipating before it could do any real damage, but Tsu was happy enough knowing she was keeping up. Somewhat. With chakra still beaming off of her bokken she pointed it forward. If she could make a wave of chakra, why not a beam? Curiosity got the best of her, and she thrusted it forward, creating a small beam of chakra, that dissipated after raveling almost a foot. It was short, but the young samurai was thrilled. After that, however, the bokken lost its chakra aura. Most likely from using it during those last two performances. She noticed her brothers moving about while swing there blades, balancing and walking on poles sticking out of the ground. She found a circular table to climb upon and worked on her balance, walking in circles along the edge of the table. She was surprisingly well-balanced, but couldn't exactly wing the sword yet without shaking. After a few more rounds upon the table, she slowly became more comfortable swinging her blade. Her foot movements were gradually getting faster, and so were her strikes. Soon she was zipping along the edge of the circular table with excellent balance, a smile on her face as she swung her blade about. Her arms were relaxed as she moved, allowing her strikes to be that much faster. First, she timed them with her own speedy steps, and with each two rounds upon the table, she made them even faster. Soon, she was swinging at a very quick pace, simply feeling the movements now instead of watching her bokken. At one point during this time, she turned into the middle of the table, keeping her momentum from her footwork by transferring it to her upper body, extending her blade out and swinging in a circle. She bent backwards, extending the bokken behind her as well, and performing a full circle slash. She had enough momentum to go at it a second time without much loss in speed, but immediately felt dizzy afterwards. She was aware of this however, and quickly widened her stance, placing chakra through the lower half of her body to stabilize her stance. Tsu was standing atop the table now, and if it were to wobble or shake for some reason, she would not budge. She allowed herself to return from her dizzying state, sighing in relief. She could have fallen if she wasn't careful. While on top of the table, she practiced some basic swings while changing up her stances. Pretending to hold a scabbard in her other hand to perform various strikes and parries with an improvised weapon. It was just her hand, but the fact that she was still practicing regardless would help her get used to how it worked. Striking with her bokken, she'd follow that strike with her hand as well. Or parry before striking with the bokken. Even parrying with the bokken and striking with her hand, which was playing as the scabbard for now. She practiced blocking techniques with her bokken, and counterattacking quickly afterwards. It was a bit straining on her muscles to try and move at such speed, but much like when she was swinging while briskly walking around a table, with practice and effort she could get to her desired speed. The sounds of rolling wheels upon the ground stirred the young 'Samurai' awake, followed by the ray of sunlight shining through a hole in the canvas roof of the carriage into her ocean-blue eyes. Scowling, she shielded her eyes from the sunlight with her hand, shaking off the last bits of drowsiness from her system. When her vision returned to normal, for a moment, she felt completely lost. Here she was in the back of a carriage filled with different types of armory and weapons; a few of which she recognized from home. Home. That's where she was before she decided to climb into the back of this carriage. It was all coming back to her slowly now, and with it a slight ache in her heart for what she had done. She cried herself to sleep that night when she left her home. It was wrong of her to disobey her parents' wishes, and she was well aware of that. However, there was more pain in the fact that they didn't recognize her own wishes -- their daughter's wishes, over traditional customs held by their noble family. Tsubame's mother generally avoided the topic altogether, while her father refused to see the truth, even as it stood before his very eyes. If her brothers were destined to be Samurai, why was it impossible for her when she had the passion, skill, and the spirit to become one?

Curiosity got the best of her once a flood of different sounds could be heard, slightly muffled by the canvas walls of the carriage. Peeking out of a small tear, she could see buildings and crowds of people. The sound of turning wheels were drowned out by the numerous conversations and what sounded like people hard at work: the starting of flames in a furnace, metal clanking against metal, and bubbling liquids. This place was very different from the Iron Country, which was much quieter... and cooler. A soft sigh exited from her lips, her body leaning back and away from the view of this strange city, onto a plate of armor. Sitting silently, her eyes were closed, a single hand grabbing onto the cat mask hanging around her neck. She missed her home, and her older brother. "I think you'd make a great Samurai. Not because of your skill with the sword, but your heart. That's what truly counts. When you wear this armor with a blade in hand, it doesn't matter how well you fight. It's what you're fighting for, Tsu." Her brother's words rang in her head, sending warmth to her heart, causing a smile to creep upon her face.

Tsubame was fighting for the freedom of her spirit, the spirit of a Samurai. To many, she might appear as some girl who's been drawn by the stories of great warriors only to perform in admiration. She'd show them all that none of it was for show, but a physical manifestation of her heart and soul. Tsu's eyes snapped open, filled with a new fire. Her new journey started here; a path chosen completely on her own, and one she could shape however she pleased. She was a grown woman now, capable of making her own choices. With that, she grabbed the hanging straw hat from the backboard of the carriage, and her brother's Katana she brought with her, tying it to her sash on the left hip. Bounding from the back of the carriage as it was still moving forward, she landed gently on her feet, knees slightly bent, with the large straw hat casting a shadow over her visage, tilted downward slightly. She rose to a standing position, getting a better view of this new city she was in.

Now, where do I go from here?

Adjusting her hat, she sighed, keeping her thoughts in check. This was a brand new area for her, and she was here with no friends, money, food, or a place to stay. It was clear the first order of business was to find a safe place to reside, even if it were temporary. Then, perhaps a job. The city appeared to be full of crafty individuals, and she happened to have some skill with metal work thanks to her experience back in the Iron Country. Surely there would be someone willing to hire and train her further. Only time will tell. Nodding, Tsubame strode forward confidently, glancing around at all the different people and shops as she headed down the street.

At the very mention of new techniques, pious face lit up like a Christmas tree. As tears welled up in his eyes, he pounced on Artemis, wrapping wrapping his arms around her with a childlike bear hug. He hasn't been able to learn a single jutsu outside of his mokuton techniques. Releasing Artemis quickly, Houou regained his composure and dusted Artemis off.
"Follow me, I've got a lead on some job opportunities. We can practice these techniques in the process."

Takeda has been so reticent about his physical wounds, so Kagerou remained mum on the questions still bouncing her head about how he was feeling and what he was thinking. For this time, she would watch and observe a little more before tossing questions around willy nilly. She would have the time to do so. She believed that. After all, to her, Takeda was a friend, or would be if she hadn't made so many mistakes. Basically, she wanted to be his friend, and on her end, she treated him as a friend, but she understood if it wasn't the same on his end.

Anyways, that was complicated. Much simpler and easier to understand was that the pair had just passed through Takumi's gates. After giving the guards a friendly wave because why not and stepping to the side and out of the busiest portion of the crowd, Kagerou looked around for the people she and Takeda were supposed to meet.

      • Specialist -The user chooses to specializing in healing medical techniques and gains a great boost to their chakra control in that area. At Chunnin, they gain a -5 chakra reduction to perform techniques in their specialty. at Jounin, -10, at Konin -15 at Sannin -20. To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side.

      • Grand Performance - The user can perform both types of arts (ninjutsu and genjutsu) through their performance or instrument, often casting them at the same time (must pay for both techniques). Can perform D rank techniques through instrument at gennin, C at Chunnin, B at jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin.

      • Learn Medical techniques one (1) post faster.

      • Learn ninjutsu (1) post faster.

      • Learn genjutsu one (1) post faster.

      • Miracle Performance - Kagerou can perform healing eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing healing medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use healing hands.

      • Calamity Performance - Kagerou can perform offensive eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing offensive medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use killing hands. Harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner is guaranteed to hit as long as the condition of sound is met, but it takes one post to manifest its effects. In that time, the technique can be nullified by matching the energy (chakra/stamina/whatever else) cost Kagerou paid to use the entire jutsu, including any extra costs for additions/modifications. Those afflicted by harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner become aware that if they do not spend the required amount of chakra/stamina, then bad things will happen to their body. The target(s) will have a vague sense of how bad the damage will be, but do not know what exactly will happen.

Dream Audience - Kagerou's dream is to help as many as she could. From this desire, the dream world manifested the power to multiply the recipients of all of her eiseijutsu techniques. With neither extra effort nor decrease in power, Kagerou can affect two extra targets for each eiseijutsu activation as long as they fulfill the requirements to be a target (i.e. contact for most eiseijutsu by default or sound when Kagerou performs eiseijutsu). Past the starting two, she must spend a total of 5(n-3)+10 energy split evenly between chakra and stamina for each additional target; n = number of targets. Odd energy costs are split with 1 more point of stamina than chakra. This additional cost cannot be reduced or refunded.

The Good Host - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.

Iryo-nin I - Kagerou receives a +1 dr [slightly modifier] to her eiseijutsu for each medical title earned. 2 medical titles = +2 dr [mildly modifier].

Mind and Body I - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.

Mind and Body II - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.

Evergreen Growth - Life always finds a way, especially when it's helped by someone who truly cherishes it. Plants cultivated by Kagerou grow as if the soil they are nourished by is +1 grade higher than it actually is. Unfertilized soil yields crops in 2 rl weeks. Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)
