My Present is a Slave? (1x1 rp)

(Hmm... which one would drive to a better story... let's do both! Nick can be the one kidnapped though since he was the original target I believe.)

(Kk. You post first. Ooh! I've got an idea! Sniper = kidnapper.)

(I had the same idea exactly. I don't know what to post... so I'll just go with a typical suspense!)

The sound of glass shattering could be heard from in the household, it echoing around the entire manor. "W-what was that!?" Nick said scared, clinging onto Leila for safety.

(That works.)

Leila's head jerked up at the sound, and she pulled Nicholas close even as he clung to her. "Sounded like someone broke a window. It may just be some idiot kids. Stay close to me just in case, though."

Nicholas, still clung to her, followed closely. "B-but the guards are supposed to make sure stuff like that doesn't happen..." He said, he voice shrivel and scared.

Leila moved silently down the hall, keeping Nicholas's hand clasped in hers. "That's why I want you to stay close to me. I don't want to risk this being something more and not know where you are."

The two of them slowly walked towards the broken glass, the air around the area feeling heavy. The glass was everywhere, the window frame splintered. "C-can you see anything L-Leila?" Nick asked, still frightened.

((Took you long enough.))

Leila looked around and shook her head. "Nothing out of the ordinary--wait, what was that?" She put her arms out as if to shield Nicholas, a small movement from the shadows catching her eye. A moment later, she grunted as something hit her shoulder. She reached up and plucked it out. A dart. Leila stood there for a moment, looking at the object in her hand, then she wobbled and fell.

"Leila?" Nicholas looked as she started to wobble and then fall. "Leil-" A hand covered his mouth, a hankerchief with cyanide on it. His vision began to get blurry as he struggled, but was soon knocked out and taken away, a ransom note left behind. It read:

Dear Mister Alexander:
Good day to you! As you can see, your son is now in my hands. We wouldn't want him to be killed now wouldn't we? I'm sure you wouldn't want that at all. Now then, what I want is simple really. All that you have to do is shut down you company and your son will be return without even a hair out of place. I would like your answer by one week and not a day later or your son will be gone forever.

The note was placed on Leila's forehead, mostly to taunt her since she is the bigger threat for protecting him much better than the guards.

(Cyanide? You mean chloroform. Cyanide is poison. ...and I'm not exactly sure what to post now...kinda want someone to find her knocked out...)

(Yea that's what I meant sweatdrop I knew what I wanted to type but I mixed it up anyway xp And that can be arranged )

About 5 minutes later, the Chief went out to see what happened, the noise dying down and her being curious. She looked to see Leila on the ground, knocked out. She rushed over to her to see if she could wake her up, but also took notice of the ransom note on her forehead.

Leila groaned and opened her eyes to see the cook leaning over her. She sat up slowly, putting a hand to her head. She felt the paper there and tore it from her brow. Her expression turned dark, and a low growl rumbled from her throat.

Chief read the note, shocked to see what was written. "Kidnapped?!? Ransom?! This is terrible! Who could have done this??" She exclaimed, dropping the note on the floor. "Leila, what happened?

"We heard glass breaking, so I went to find out what had happened. Nicholas followed. Whoever it was shot me with this." She showed Chef the dart. "Some sort of sedative. Knocked me out cold. Figures this just had to happen on the one day I'm not at full strength," she muttered.
