" Yes papa " Alphones nodded as he skipped to a pond." Papa were here ,I'll see you on the other side " he said with a smirk befor wadding into the pool. Alphi waited for the moon and then was plunged in the depths. The little vampire vanished without a trase befor remerging near the court of the queen. He stood up ringing out his wet cloths.

Diem followed quickly after Alphones, immediately glad for his coat and scarf. The entire tunnel they were in was covered in ice. Sharp looking icecicles adorned the cieling.
" and now we wait." He said, knowing they had better stay where they were till they were met.

" No..." Alphones said as he headed down the tunnel " Come on pa pa"

Diem quickly grabbed Alphi by the back of his shirt and hoisted him into the air,
" I said we have to wait! God, quit acting like a child!" He said, using the one word that would shut up most vampires. As Diem glared at Alphi he heard steps coming. A faery knight was staring at them. He wore spiky armor of ice. His long black hair fell to his knees. His face held cold amusement.
" You have been invited by my queen. Come this way." the fae said. Diem followed him, still dangling Alphi at arms length.

" Fine Deim this is a task ,I do not enjoy. I was just trying to have some fun " Alphones said as he did not resist being toed along. The little vampire looked ahead his face expressionless as he was helpless to do much. It wasent untill they saw the Queen did he brighten up. " PAPA !! PAPA LOOK LOOK FARIES REALLY DO EXSIST!! Oh she's so pretty papa maybe she needs a knight in shining armor!" Alphones exclaimed enthusastic upon meeting the queen even if he diden't mean it at all. " Papa , I want to be her knight in shining armor when ,I grow up . "

Diem dropped Alphi on the floor, stepping into the room. It was like a field, except in winter. Grass and flowers were encased in clear ice. So were shadowhunters and vampires and mortals. All made into frozen statues. The Queen of the Unseelie Court sat on a throne of ice. She wore an inky black dress that matched her dark hair. Her pale skin and ice blue eyes made her stand out in her field of horrors. Winter fae stood around, all staring at the vampires. The Queen leaned forward, her face unreadable.
" I was not aware the head of the vampire clan of Chicago had adopted a brat." She said, her voice vibrating off the ice. Diem scowled,
" I was not aware of it either." He said. The fae queen laughed at his remark. Her entire court joined her. When the laughter died down she said,
" Indeed, you seem ill-suited to deal with children. Amazing you managed to raise your nephew and not completely ruin him." she said, eyes glinting with dark humor.

Alphones got up brushing hmself off as he looked to the queen. " One would agree with her highness Diem's affections towards others may be found lacking. But he is a good man despite your lack care for it. " He said getting to his feet. Alphi was by now over being teased for his apperance. The vampire made up for it in quick wit. " Your lady ship has exquizit taste in decore. The ice seems to represent the hard reality of life and eternity of being stuck in your court. But why anyone would want to leave is beyond me. Your Highness a lovely gem who gleams brighter then her subjects. Everyone in here is put to shame my lady next to you. " He said bowing politly.

" Let me introduce myself ,I am Alphones Woodrow. But everyones calls me Alphi because of my cute apperance. " The vampire introduced himself. " So what does her highness want with our Children ? "

The queen leaned back in her throne, her eyes sparkling.
" Such a charming little undead. Come," She said beckoning forward, " sit, eat." Diem scowled but came forward. He remained standing. " we have no need to eat, lady. Now, why have you taken interest in our charges." He said. The queen looked mischievous, " Rumors abound...almost like flies." Diem flinched. " Your nephew and his friends have stirred up downworld. Tales of rogues chasing after him. His sister taken. One cannot help but wonder why?" she said, her tone icy.

" I had a big lunch " ALphones admited as he stood near Deim. " Your lady ship , is being to vague. What would she care about such trvial matters. I hardly expected you to take care in childs games. " The little vampire said trying to defuse the matter. " You mustent believe everything you hear did a Werewolf put those rumors to you ? I think your lady ship is above rumors. A fine intelectual who does not need the clamor of the underworld to see whats really going on here. Deim just needs help cleaning out the sewers of rats nasty things. Everything is here say. "

The queen smiled,
" It is for me to decide what interests me, is it not? and your children have done so. I wonder why shadowhunters wish to have him so badly." she said, the threat obvious in her voice.

Alphones started to snicker then laughed " Your highness asumes we know more then you. Which Deim and I have no idea why they are after our band of misfits. " He replied befor he drew to a calm amused look. " No your highness we don't know why. If you could shed some light on the situation. We would be happy to humore your hypothosis.. " The little vampire told the queen. " There are no answers to your question. We have come as per your request. It is now time for us go now .Unless you have a question we can answer ....and your willing to part with information of your own. Nothings free madam we all must pay our piper. You have nothing of intrust to us on the part of our children.good bye come Papa the fairy is boring me "

Once gaverocoh was out of the shower he got dressed and exited into a guest bedroom. He found his sister waiting for him " ...what are you doing here antoi ?"

" This is my home now its only natural big brother "Antoinette said in a sad tone. " alphones wants me to stay here well you run off with the warlock and the shadowhunter."

" Its not permanint I'm sure " gaven sadi sitting down on the bed next to his sister

The queen immediately scowled at Alphi, angry that her game had ended. " Faeries cannot lie, but the others of Downworld. My powers are great. If ever you wish for my aid, simply answer my question." The queen flicked her hand and the knight that had escorted them appeared, beckoning them away. Diem scowled and left, walking away with as much dignity as his limp allowed.

" You will get no reply " Alphones said as he let Diem get ahead of him alittle. " Your highness thank you for your invetation sorry we could not be more help to each other. " The little vampire took a bow. " ....after all vampires don't tromp around with faries who would trades secreats for their amusment. "

Alphi remained scilent as he was deep in thought. He fallowed after the hobbeling deim. It was not untill they were on the otherside of the pond did he speak " Everyone knows Deim..." Alphones said as he trugged out of the water. " They've got targets painted on their backs walking around this city. All of down world knows it. Proper did as you told him to contacted his father. they are not shadowhunters after him Diem. I heared that wicked thing say it. No shadow hunter in his right mind would attack a child of that demon. " The vampire said to the other in a low voice. " So who is it?" He whispered. " ...Things are going to get dangerious real quick Deim. Downworlders are going to see an opertunity like the queen. The shadowhunters are going to see a threat to the human world soon enough."

Antoinette pulled her feet to her chest and hugged her legs. " Soon it will all be over, buried with our past " She whispered a fimiler tune to her brother

Gaven replied to it as he rubbed his sisters back gently " You used to play outside when you were young Full of life and full of love " He leaned and rested his head on her shoulder .

" Some days I feel like I am wrong and I am right" Antoinette said feeling tears stinging her eyes as she spoke.

" Your mind is playing tricks on you my dear " Gaven whispered befor sitting up striaght and kissing the top of his sisters forhead. " ...don't think so much antoinette you'll make yourself sick."

" ...I can't remember ever being sick ...its a dream gaven all of this is a dream .I'll wake up one day in our families little chatue.I'll go out and play with the dogs in the garden. Our Mere will cook us treats that fill the halls with sweet smells. Pere will come home from Paris and bring us gifts. " Antoinette said closing her eyes trying to imagine the world she'd left long ago. " You and your darling bride Margerette will come from your new home and have tea with everyone. We'll all be happy. "

" Open your eyes antoinette..This is reality. Everyone is gone but you and I my petite sisour " Gaven said getting up from the bed. "We are together that is all that matters now. "

" .....Gaverocoh what if ,l don't want to be here anymore. " Antoinette said as she looked up at her brother. " What if ,I wished that Akahana had gotten stabbed instead of me in the eye ? What if What would bring me joy is knowing that proper got captured and him with his sister disappeared forever...What if ,I wished you'd remember how much ,I hate you for what you did ,but don't remember. "

Gaven glared at antoinette " Dont talk like that you don't hate me antoi. I am your brother. Akahana is trying to help proper like the rest of us. Never wish horriable things like that antoi. proper cares for his sister as I care for you " He told her knowing it was her madness talking. " I'm glad that alphones is making you stay. "

" I'm glad that alphones is making you go so ,I dont have to look at you !" Antoinette shouted at gaven. " Get out of my room!"

" Its a guest room and ,I was in it first " Gaven said as he looked at antoinettes growing anger. " I'll leave though ... good bye antoinette sleep tight " He said befor leaving the room.
