Marcel would scoff a bit at the mere insinuation that his ego was as big as Virgil claimed it to be "I cannot believe you'd be so heartless Querido! I'm truly wounded you'd say something like that!" the dramatics were on once more, even resting his hand against his forehead as he spoke to layer on the drama. Damn he really should have gone to drama school instead of the military, he was an ace at this! Once his dramatics tempered down and the talk of cooking happened Marcel would glance off to the side when the other man laughed at him, thankful the other man didn't decide to mock him for his lack of knowledge as it would have only made the Hispanic even redder. The Veteran would then chuckle a bit once he was finished with more dramatics "Ungrateful indeed, I'll have to remember this!" he grinned a small bit as they continued on with the conversation. Once Marcel spoke his piece on the idea of going to the casino the thought became more and more appealing to the Hispanic, it would certainly be a good way to enjoy their time before the penny pinching began for them. He would then laugh a little bit when Virgil joked about not being an expensive guy "Mmmm but there's the issue Querido, I actually enjoy showering the person I love with gifts. This will be difficult for me" he cooed a little bit. It really was true, giving gifts and doing things for the people he loved was how the Hispanic showed his affection. Simply saying it and telling the person was difficult unless he put a lot of thought into it and took his time as speaking from the heart was a truly difficult thing to do for the emotionally stunted man. But he supposed that he'd have to settle for small, inexpensive gifts and tiny little actions to show his affection. In fact he planned on showering his Lover in more affection once they were done eating, their little love making session earlier was just because he wore the outfit he did. This was going to be his way of thanking his Lover for learning how to make the Hispanic's favorite food. Once Marcel spoke he would listen to Virgil's sassy answer and despite the tone it was a good question to ask, did ghost eat though? "I mean...Jordan did say he'd get Vivian coffee or something like that...so maybe they can" that had the former Lieutenant thinking for a moment before dismissing the thought, too much to think about and he was in no mood to do any critical thinking right now. Once Marcel had finally managed to let his heart get a few words out he shuffled his feet a little bit as he turned his gaze down to the floor for a moment. It felt strange and unfamiliar to say such things out of the blue like that, usually when in the throes of passion it was so easy to say such things and speak when they were like that. But here, just cooking he felt odd just saying it like that but when he glanced up and saw the shy and genuine smile on Virgil's face his heart all but tumbled over itself. This man was perfect. Nothing could convince the Hispanic otherwise and when he returned the sentiment one of Marcel's own smiles graced his features as he let himself be guided until they were pressed side by side. The younger man's arm wrapped around Virgil's waist and held him, leaning into the Werewolf as he let out a content sigh. This was all Marcel had ever wanted and slowly but surely it seemed like for once his dream was coming to fruition, he liked to think that karma at least owed the two men this much at least for the s**t they were put through. As Virgil was finishing up his cooking Marcel would stare at the pan of food and sniffed the air a bit "That does smell pretty good" he would compliment the others cooking, smiling a bit at the sudden thought in his head. Virgil in the kitchen of their new home, a kid hanging off his leg pestering their Dad about what he was making them to eat. This caused Marcel to rest his head against the other man for a moment as a content smile actually remained on his face for right now instead of fading off into his usual grin or smirk.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.A fond grin briefly touched his lips as he was treated to another dramatic display. "Ya should’ve become th’ star on one of those soap operas yer mom used t’watch.” That was his two cents on it, anyway! Virgil chuckled when it seemed the younger man couldn't resist being a drama queen once more and agreed with the sentiment of him being ungrateful. He did nothing to stop the slightly victorious smirk from forming when he heard him state that not splurging on buying him gifts would be a difficult thing for him to do. The big guy couldn't help but be a little bit relieved by the knowledge since he preferred not to be left feeling awkward and shy over a gesture of his love. Besides, why else did he really need? Nothing, as far as Virgil was concerned. He had everything he could ever truly want right there standing next to him. True, he did want a nice house in Spain with for the future family but if that dream for them didn't come to fruition then he would still be content with their life in the end. Admittingly, however, knowing how careful they would need to be with their spending and how long it would take to save up for a nice place to live was frustrating since his former job would have made it easier for them to achieve their dream and they wouldn't have to worry so much about penny-pinching. Still, the whole reason he'd taken the teaching job at the school was to get out of bounty hunting in the first place and he had made a promise to a certain someone that he wouldn't go back to it. Easier said than done and if he could ever truly turn his back on it. If the Black Council knew...His thoughts were easily derailed by their conversation. Once the subject of ghosts and food was brought up, he nodded as Marcel reminded him that their two siblings were supposed to go out for coffee. It made sense to him that the ghosts should be able to eat as well. "He did ask me what 'er favorite food was...yeah...they probably can." He muttered the answer to his own question, feeling slightly foolish for not realizing that sooner. Though he wasn't left feeling like that for long, the confession and the following self-conscious display distracting him and making his heart swell over just how adorable it was to see a hardened veteran act in such a manner. Virgil relaxed even further once the shorter man was tucked underneath his arm, leaving it hooked around his waist as he finished off his whiskey and put the glass back down. A glance was cast toward the stove at the mention of their food. "Thanks. Though as long as th' chicharrones taste good I could care less 'bout what th' rest tastes like." It would have seriously disappointed the werewolf if he had ******** up cooking Marcel's favorite food, but considering how he had reacted when he'd eaten some of it, he didn't think that the way they tasted was something he had to worry about. Virgil looked down at him, the storm of butterflies inside of his growing wilder as he noticed his boyfriend was still smiling. "What's on yer mind, darlin'?" Surely, it had to be something interesting if it kept him smiling for this long. He turned somewhat and reached up to take out a plate and a bowl from a cabinet, putting the first item down on the counter for Marcel. Try as he might, he couldn't stay right beside him and eventually had to pull away so he could stir the peppers and start to fill his bowl with his own food.

Marcel ended up laughing a bit at the other man's comment towards him and shook his head a bit "Oh please, don't make me gag. I'd rather rip my own hair out than ever be on one of those things!" Having to listen to the overly dramatic screeching/sobbing of the scorned female actresses was bad enough on TV, let alone the idea of being in the same room as them! Hell, the male characters were just as bad! Having to play the role of the promiscuous boyfriend/husband and then yelling all the time at his wife or girlfriend? He'd be sick of it by the first day! Thankfully the thought of being on one of those hellhole shows were derailed by the others question about if the ghosts could eat. It seemed that once he had gotten the Hispanic's answer he also remembered that Jordan had asked for her favorite foods he laughed a little bit "Only reason few people ever attacked him though was because of me, I was the one to be feared in my High School and since we were best friends he was basically protected for the most part" he spoke more about their past together and laughed a little bit at the memory. Jordan was thankfully not a smarmy little s**t about it, he never actively went out looking for fights because of Marcel being there to back him up. Usually any anger he incited was simply from him accidentally overstepping his boundaries or saying the wrong words to people. The people who did attack Jordan were usually swiftly dealt with the moment Marcel caught wind of it, that is of course if Jordan didn't handle it "Not that he needed protection, he was tough in his own right. Just not like me, I was feared because people knew I wasn't afraid to really hurt them if they pissed me off" and hurting Jordan was a good way to piss the teenage Hispanic male off.

Marcel would then smile a bit when he heard the other man accept his compliment and laughed a little bit at the Werewolf "Aww you're sweet Querido, but I do hope the rest of the food tastes good. I'm planning on having some too you know!" he commented with a grin, smacking his side playfully before leaning into him a bit more as his imagination began to take him away with images of Virgil hoisting a child into his arms so they could see what was happening on top of the stove. He had barely registered the others question but he managed to catch it in time "Just thinking about you cooking with our child, being an amazing Father..." Marcel hadn't even flushed at the admittance, his mind was still half gone as he pictured their imaginary kid toss some flour onto Virgil and them getting into a flour fight. Then a second person entered the room and suddenly his smile warmed a bit more "...Dante could live with us too if he wanted..." it was just a fantasy of course and while Dante was getting much older Marcel still wanted to reconnect with his first born son.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Virgil chuckled and slowly shook his head at his nearly over-the-top response to his comment, more or less proving his point as far as he was concerned. Hearing that Marcel was the feared one out of the two in high school wasn't that surprising to him. He wondered how many fights Jordan might have gotten into if he didn't have his best friend there to scare away to give the other students second thoughts about it. The blond Hispanic reminded him of a hyper-active pup who didn't know when to stop or shut the hell up. "An' ya give me ah hard time about bein' protective? Sounds like ya were jus' as bad as me." He huffed in mock offense. At least he didn't always try to go after the people who tried to hurt Marcel. Well...there might be only one so far, the one idiot in the bathhouse who'd gotten so upset by seeing the two of them loving on each other. And Teiru even if the teacher hadn't planned on actually hurting the former soldier. He was just going to take this as a sign that he was learning to be better and behave himself!

Virgil rolled his eyes when he gushed over his comment on only caring about how the chicharron tasted. "I know." He paused for a moment as he glanced toward the skillet that held his own meal, which was basically like a thick stew at this point. Normally, it was served over rice but there was no way in hell he was going to mess with cooking that horrible stuff. It wasn't that he didn't want to share, it just hadn't crossed his mind that Marcel might want to eat some of it too and he didn't know if he should tell him what it was. They'd talked about him not mentioning what meat he brought home from future hunting trips, but he didn't know if chicken hearts also fell into that category. "Ya sure about this stuff though?" Virgil gestured toward his skillet with a spoon before he used it to stir the peppers. A few seconds longer with those and they would be done with so he didn't see why they couldn't get started with the rest of their food. Virgil began to ladle some of the stew into his bowl while he listened to him answer his question, freezing the moment he said he would be an amazing father. He cleared his throat a bit and ignored the heat rising to his face. Knowing Marcel was clearly daydreaming about their future together was possibly the most adorable thing yet although it did still cause the big guy to fluster somewhat. A side of his mouth raised with a slight smirk at the mention of Dante. "I wouldn't mind that, but he might have someone special of his own by th' time we get our dream home. Livin' with young lovers is ah pain in th' a**. Always snugglin' an' whisperin' sweet nothin's ta each other." He shook his head. "Gross." Though, honestly, the two of them weren't that much better but at least they weren't constantly wrapped up in each other. Mostly! "Don't get me started on how much noise there'd probably be..." His nose slightly wrinkled at the thought.

Marcel would end up rolling his eyes a bit when the other man accused him of being just as bad as him which caused Marcel to smirk and shake his head defiantly "Oh please! I only ever stood by and watched! I only ever got involved when someone made the first swing!" which wasn't often as people knew better than to cross Marcel of all people, they were all mostly smart! The Hispanic then chuckled a bit as he remembered how Virgil had followed after the man who smacked his a** in the bath house. He was more than willing to let it go but Virgil simply had to enact revenge on the poor sonava b***h and even went as far as to take money from his wallet! Not that he didn't appreciate it, while Marcel would have happily taken it as a compliment any other time he was spoken for now and didn't want someone to get so handy with him. Once the topic shifted to the food Marcel would quirk an eyebrow at Virgil when he asked if he was sure about wanting some of what the other man was cooking "...Why? What on earth is this?" it looked pretty tame to Marcel but suddenly he was leery, Virgil hadn't ever said anything like that about food before and he was cautious now because of it. What the ******** did Virgil make? When Virgil would inform him about the fact that this was chicken hearts he'd blanch for a moment and stared at it before making a strained face "My Mamá always told me to try new things...." although it was clear that the idea of eating the organs of an animal didn't quite appeal to the Hispanic. Marcel would then grab a clean spoon from the drawer and scooped up some of the stew and stared at the piece of heart and pepper there and sighed before putting it into his mouth. His face would scrunch up a bit but didn't spit it out as he forced himself to swallow the food and shook his head "Yeah no, you can have that. Not for me" it wasn't awful but it certainly was not something the Hispanic would seek out to eat ever again. Once Marcel informed Virgil about what was going on in his head he would remain in his own little world for a bit longer before coming back to reality and realizing what he'd just said. Marcel would blink and glance at Virgil and saw the heat in the others face and smiled a bit. He still wasn't averse to the idea, that just made Marcel even happier. So when he brought up that he could have Dante over he'd hear Virgil and sighed a bit and laughed "I think you give Dante too much credit, the kids as shy as can be. He'd probably sit there red as a tomato if his boyfriend tried doing that in front of other people, let alone his own Dad!" Marcel may have not been with Dante too much in his childhood but he knew that boy more than enough to know how he'd be like "He fell quite far from the tree's" he commented, mentioning that Dante was so different than both his parents. However Virgil's next comment turned Marcel red in the face as he glared at the other man a bit embarrassed "That's my son you're talking about!" he stated indignantly before shaking his head "Besides as if you and I are any better..." he then turned moved his hand from Virgil and chuckled a bit "You're such a pervert, I swear" he grinned at his boyfriend with a chuckle, the other man was capable of taking Marcel by surprise in the most unexpected ways.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Sure ya did." Virgil found that part a bit hard to believe. He had a feeling Marcel could be the temperamental sort under the right circumstances and found it hard to believe he simply stood by and watched all of the time. Something he probably should have done the second time at the bathhouse, but he couldn't always restrain himself when it came to people inappropriately touching his lover. He couldn't help but chuckle as he watched the Spanish veteran suddenly became wary of the food he'd made for himself. After a brief moment of debate, he decided to tell the truth and give him his answer though seeing the way he reacted made him wonder if he should have kept the truth to himself. An amused sigh was released when it appeared Marcel had trouble eating the stew, but he did have to applaud him for not immediately spitting it out. "An' that's why I cooked ya somethin' else." He grinned. "Though...ya might've liked it better if ya didn't know what it was." Eating offal put a lot of people off and the older lycan really couldn't blame them, he hadn't really enjoyed them as a kid but he'd had to eat them regardless. Though chicken hearts weren't the worst thing, they tasted almost like the rest of the bird did to him only that the taste was a lot more flavorful. Organs meats, in general, had a lot more nutrients in them and after the hell he'd gone through in the last twenty-four hours, he needed anything he could get. Cooking liver had crossed his mind as well, but he'd decided against it since it did smell rather foul and he didn't feel like possibly listening to Marcel gripe about making the apartment stink.

He shrugged his shoulders a little. "Maybe, but he could come outta his shell by th' time we get our home." He slightly tilted his head and shrugged again. green]"Or maybe not." Even though the Hispanic had hardly gotten to see his son, he figured he knew the boy more than he would. Only time would tell...of anything. Virgil was almost afraid to trust this wonderful break in the past nightmare that'd been his life. It was hard for him not to wait for the other shoe to drop, believing karma was only giving them a break while she sharpened her claws before releasing real hell upon them. But that was all the more reason to enjoy every second spent with his beloved, even these simple ones where they were doing the basic necessities of everyday life. A s**t-eating grin spread across his rugged features as Marcel snapped at him for mentioning his son in such a manner. "Yeah. He's yer son." Meaning that the werewolf wouldn't be surprised at all if Dante was just as loud as his father in the bedroom. Either way, if his joke became reality the poor mutt would probably be hearing things he didn't want to thanks to his sensitive ears. His grin shifted into a small, teasing smile. "Didn't know we've been actin' like horny young men." He only laughed at being called a pervert. "Jus' 'cause ya don't want t'face th' reality of yer son gettin' laid doesn't make me ah pervert." He stated very matter-of-factly right before he quickly stuck out his tongue at Marcel. Excuse him for trying to be practical and think of what that sort of future could hold for them! He set his bowl of stew down onto a plate and added two pieces of sausage to it along with a bun. He wasn't in a mood for peppers so he would eat the items separately. "That reminds me...ya need t'call yer parents still." Though he didn't know if he was exactly ready for that introduction just yet. At least he wouldn't be meeting them face-to-face anytime soon! His glass was filled once more before he grabbed his food and headed for the living room. Marcel would have to fix his own plate, his house-wife duties were over as far as he was concerned!

Marcel huffed just a little bit when the other man decided to express his doubt over the Spaniards word that he simply stood back. He did! Usually. Marcel only ever got involved when someone swung first, he certainly was never glaring the person down from behind Jordan's back daring them to swing. Him? Never! Once Marcel gave the stew Virgil made a tried and choked it down he would glance up at Virgil and nodded his head "Smart man" he'd compliment his boyfriend about his foresight on preparing a second thing of food for him. He would then shake his head and shook his head a little bit "Maybe but I still wouldn't have been too keen on the entire thing" he stated with a shrug of the shoulders. If Virgil had just not told Marcel what it was after he asked he wouldn't have even tried it, leery of whatever weird, American concoctions the south could brew up. He would then listen to Virgil say that Dante could come out of his shell in the time it took for them to get a home of their own "Well I suppose you're right there" he would concede, while Marcel himself didn't change too much from when he was younger he knew for a fact that others could easily change for the better. No doubt that Dante could in fact outgrow his normally shy and meek characteristics, only time would tell it seemed. Marcel would then continue to glare at Virgil as he had the audacity to grin like that and even more so putting emphasis on how he was his son. Oh this man was asking for it! Marcel would continue to glower at Virgil as he spoke and shook his head "You'll understand when you become a Father" he stated pointedly at the other man before him. Marcel knew that Dante would eventually sleep with someone but it just wasn't someone you wanted to acknowledge as a parent, you wanted your child to stay your baby forever in a way. And for them to do someone that was strictly for adults? It was just a bad kick to the gut knowing they were no longer truly a child. Marcel would then grab the plate of chicharron and smirked a bit, a full plate of delicious fried pork all to himself? ******** yes! However that happy moment was ruined when Virgil mentioned that he still needed to call his parents and Marcel would sigh a bit "Yeah, yeah. I know..." admittingly he had been hoping the other man would forget and he could put it off just a bit longer but he figured that it was better to just rip the bandage off and get it over with. He would then glance out the window at the darkening sky "Hm....it should be late morning to early afternoon in Spain right now...." which meant his Parents would most certainly be up by now "I'll...call them after we eat, OK?" he stated, grabbing his drink and walking over to the couch and turning on the TV to what appeared to be a horror comedy playing which caused him to smirk a bit "Scary Movie 2? Haven't seen this in awhile" well at least he would get a few laughs out before calling his parents and dealing with his Mother.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Virgil made a slight noise at being called a smart man. It was simply common sense to him, but he supposed that most people wouldn't think of cooking different types of meals in case their original plan wasn't liked by anyone else who would be dining with them. He chuckled softly at his comment about not being keen on mystery food. "Aw, c'mon. Don't ya trust me?" He'd playfully tease. At least Marcel could be thankful that the former bounty hunter didn't cook weird stuff too often. This was more or less a special meal for himself since he was technically still recovering from the surgery. The fact his boyfriend agreed with him on the subject of his son's mannerisms possibly changing as he got older was a small surprise to him. It seemed like a logical option, but he was so used to Marcel arguing just for the sake of arguing that it was kind of strange to hear him not argue for once. Virgil stood bravely in the front of those beautiful browns glowering at him, not at all afraid of what trekking on such dangerous ground could mean for him. "I'm sure I will." A rather cheeky grin came over him. "An' I'll make sure t'keep several boxes of condoms at th' house for when th' time comes." He called back over a shoulder on his way to the living room. The brute didn't think he would end up like most parents who seemed to want their children to remain innocent in some way or the other. Would he encourage such behavior? Hell no, of course not, but he didn't think there was any sense in not being practical about things that came with the territory of raising hormonal teenagers. For someone who suggested making the phone call when he felt better, Marcel sure seemed reluctant about calling his parents now. It was meant to be a simple reminder, he hadn't exactly meant for him to call them tonight although he wasn't going to say anything about that now. He had a feeling that if he gave the younger man an out then it would probably be another week or more before he finally did it himself. "I'll hold ya t'that. If ya don't, I just might make th' call myself." He playfully threatened, not knowing if he would actually go through with it or not. Probably not, he didn't want to be scolded by an angry Spanish woman! Virgil sat in his preferred spot, crossing his legs, and putting his plate down in his lap. A piece of a bun was torn off and dipped into the broth, which he shortly popped into his mouth. Despite the fact he'd nearly burnt the stew thanks to his Spanish lover, it was still pretty good. The sound of the television being turned on brought his attention away from his food, his expression becoming one of nearly profound confusion at the movie on the screen. Since he rarely watched t.v., he had no idea what the movie was. Which just might be a blessing considering he was sitting there watching a ghost in the process of getting frisky with some girl. And Marcel thought he was the immature one?! "What in th' ever-lovin' ******** is this?" He shot Marcel a befuddled look and ended up staring for a few seconds once he noticed his plate was loaded down with only fried pork. Shaking his head, he turned his attention back to his food. Normally, he was able to find some interest in the movies they watched together but this wasn't going to be one of them. Not that it mattered, whatever made the Hispanic happy.

Marcel glanced at Virgil and smirked a little bit with an amused look as he shrugged his shoulders a little bit at the teasing question "I trust you about as much as I trust myself to keep the coffee table clean" he returned the teasing with his own self deprecating remark just add a bit of extra humor in his opinion. After all nothing was quite as funny as poking fun of ones self! Once the topic moved onto his son Dante, Marcel was adult enough to acknowledge that anything was possible a this point. Hell only a short while ago he was suicidal and miserable but his life had taken almost a full one eighty and things were becoming better and better in his eyes. So if his life could turn around like this for the better then why couldn't his son grow out of his shy nature in the future? Of course Marcel had to give Virgil props, the man knew how to stand his ground when the Spaniard was baring down on him like this. Most would have cowered at least a little bit but he wasn't about to give any hint at all that he was impressed. Clearly Virgil didn't believe him if that grin said anything, Marcel firmly believed that becoming a parent does something to adult. Before having Dante he probably would have laughed about the idea of his future kids having sex and even joked about how he'd coach them. But then once Dante was born, seeing his little child growing up, even through a video chat, the idea of his son doing anything meant for adults twisted the knife a little bit. However once the words left Virgil's mouth the Hispanic's dark gaze narrowed in on his Boyfriends back as his face tinted red "Virgil..." he gritted out, not quite as amused by the little comment as his Love was obviously. Marcel would let out a huff as he grabbed his drink and food and took his place next to Virgil, wasting no time jabbing his elbow none too gently into the other man's side as he lifted a piece of the fried pork up "You're impossible" he stated before popping the delicious food into his mouth. The only reason he didn't get anything worse was because he won brownie points for the chicharron he had cooked, that's all! Marcel would then proceed to roll his eyes a little bit at the others comment "Oh boy, I feel like we've had this conversation before" he stated with an amused smirk on his face as he shook his head a bit. Admittingly enough a lot of the confidence that he'd had the other day about calling his parents had dwindled down to nothing. He'd been so caught up in the joy of speaking to Dante that he had felt like he could do anything but his parents? That was a whole nother beast to tackle and the Hispanic wasn't sure he was ready. But then he was the type of man to rip bandages off so he supposed that it was better now than never "I know I've told you this before but my Mamá can get very intense so if I just go silent for a good bit of the call it's because she won't shut up" he stated bluntly, not even caring about how rude it may have sounded, it was just the truth after all! Once Marcel had started the movie he grinned a bit as he popped another chicharron in his mouth as they had arrived on the charming scene where the ghost was getting it on with that one pigtail girl. Marcel would then laugh a bit, more so at Virgil's question than the movie itself "What, you never watched a horror/comedy before?" he grinned "This movie is a parody mashup of a bunch of different horror movies" he then chuckled a little bit at the next scene where the ghost quickly dipped out of the bedroom as the girl began to talk about marrying the ghost, she was a freaky one.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."So not at all then?" Virgil pointedly glanced toward the half-empty glass sitting on the coffee table, figuring it was a sign of how his lover had spent his night. Considering the state of their bed, he was sure Marcel had ended up sleeping on the couch as well since he wasn't around last night. Had he even bothered to eat dinner?! He felt it was safe to guess that he hadn't bothered with it and shook his head at the thought. If that truly was the case then he was glad he had gone ahead and cooked the amount of food he had. The tone in which his name was spoken would have frightened many people, but Virgil only chuckled darkly. What was it about becoming a parent that made people so damn crazy? He still didn't think it would affect him as much as it obviously did his partner, foolishly believing it was something that would only affect biological parents and there was no way he would be able to give him a biological child. He startled with a faint yelp when the Hispanic's elbow met his side, shooting him a wounded puppy look. The jab no doubt would have hurt him a lot more if it weren't for him being a supernatural freak with a high pain tolerance. "An' ya are an abuse arse." He huffed back at him. Just because he had a nasty habit of crossing the line and saying things he shouldn't, but that was no reason to do that! Though the mutt supposed he should be glad that Marcel hadn't gone for his nose as his ex used to anytime they had a disagreement. He scooted over a few inches to put a small distance between them just in case though. "Aye, well...I'm serious this time." He eyed him for a second before turning his attention back to his food while he listened to him warn him about how his mother could be. "Oh, don't worry, I'm fully prepared to sit here for ah while listenin' t'an angry momma chewin' out 'er ungrateful son fer not callin' in so long." He smirked. Not that he would be able to understand a word the Spanish woman had to say, but he was sure it would be hilarious either way! Not to mention, it would be interesting to hear what the former soldier's parents were like without having to meet them in person. That certainly was a small blessing. Virgil shook his head when his question was answered with another question. There were plenty of comedies and horror movies he'd yet to see. "I'm more of ah book person." He would offer for his lack of knowledge about movies, giving a small grunt once Marcel gave him a proper explanation about what they were watching. This movie was going to be a complete loss for the older man. He snorted with the slightest bit of amusement as the ghost fled at the woman's suggestion, rolling his eyes as the next scene lead to another character getting into a fight with a cat. Where was a book when he needed one?! Then again, he did have the perfect distraction sitting right there in his lap. After a few more spoon full of the stew, he put his spoon down to sample the sausage. Virgil blinked as he bit into it and realized he'd cooked nothing but pork for his lover. Damn. Maybe he should have added salad to the menu for him after all. Trying to be as sneaky as he could, he reached over to steal some of the chicharron from Marcel's plate.

Marcel's gaze would shift towards where Virgil's eyes were staring and remembered his glass of bourbon that he'd been drinking as a sheepish grin formed on his face. Well he hadn't meant it like that but he supposed that he'd set himself up for that "Well to be fair,it's only one glass!" he would try to defend himself and the watered down bourbon that was still on the coffee table. Old habits died hard and Marcel was not exactly the neatest person ever, you'd think that with his years of military background it would have taught him how to keep his home completely spotless, however that just didn't extend to the coffee table it seemed. But at least the rest of their home had been kept in relatively good condition! Once he elbowed Virgil he would roll his eyes a bit at the wounded look he was shot and shook his head at the accusation "Well if you stopped pushing your luck with me I wouldn't have to elbow you, now wouldn't I?" this was obviously all on the Werewolf, he just simply insisted on pushing the envelope with the Spaniard! He would then watch as the other man scooted away a little bit and shake his head a little bit, as if Marcel ever went for two blows back to back! Once Marcel began to smile and laugh a little bit at Virgil's next comment and nodded his head a little bit "Yeah...that's probably what's going to happen...and what she's going to call me" he smirked a little bit, reaching up to rub the back of his neck a little bit as he would then proceed to pop another chicharron into his mouth. Once he then proceeded to explain about the movie and what it was he would roll his eyes a bit and grinned at Virgil "Books? What a nerd" he stated teasingly with an amused tone, poking fun of the other man's reading habits. Obviously Marcel had all the room in the world to call Virgil a nerd when he himself was a huge movie buff! Yep! Virgil was the nerd! The Hispanic would then grin a little bit when he heard the other man laugh a bit when the ghost fled pigtail girl, clearly the other man could be amused by the movie as well! Marcel would then snort and began a nasty fit of laughter once his favorite scene began to play of the woman boxing the black cat. It was such a stupid scene but dammit Marcel's sense of humor could border on stupid sometimes and besides he'd seen what this scene was based off of which only made it better! However the movement of the others hand and with the speed that the Hispanic was known for he'd grab the others wrist and turned his head a little bit with a smirk "Querido, you know better than to try and sneak my favorite food away" he grinned a little bit in amusement, the Veteran had to give Virgil props. The other man did at least try! Of course Marcel wasn't completely selfish with Virgil and would release his hand and held the plate of delicious fried pork out for the other man to take what he wanted. The other man cooked it after all, he deserved to have some himself if he wanted.

Marcel did have a point since the coffee table was still pretty much clean, but still! It all did kind of implied that he didn't trust him! But the big brute knew that wasn't the case and would never actually get upset while they were just joking around. "Didn't yer momma ever teach ya t'use yer words?" He would shoot back on the subject on the subject for the Hispanic's reason for elbowing him. He might be a little bit right, but pushing his luck with his boyfriend was an addictive thrill he was having a hard time quitting. "Besides...I don't think ya'd really be happy with ah meek an' mild housewife." Their snarky back and forth with each other was a small part of the fun of their relationship in his book although now he was beginning to wonder if he should give it a try, be completely complaisant and not test him so much just to see how the younger man would react to being around a servile omega instead of the ballsy loner. A quick, toothy grin was flashed his way when he seemed to agree to how his mother might react when he finally called her. Well, he had only himself to blame if she did in fact do that. He softly scoffed at being called a nerd. "Says th' man who could write ah damn book on how old movies were made an' let's not forget th' glasses." He'd quickly snark back to the teasing. Virgil startled the moment his man erupted into loud laughter and looked at him like he'd grown a second head. He didn't understand what the hell made the scene so damn funny and, sadly, it wasn't enough to distract Marcel from his attempt to sneak some of his food. A knowing smirk graced his lips when his wrist was grabbed. "What kinda person would I be if I didn't keep ya on yer toes?" Chuckling, he reached over when the plate was offered and only took a small handful since stealing the food was half of the fun in his mind. "Thanks." He put it onto his own plate and ate a piece, enjoying the crunchy texture of the fried pieces of pork. Virgil shivered somewhat when the clown doll came onto the screen and promptly went missing from the chair. He muttered as the clown started to giggle and taunt the man in the room, only to end up snorting when the man started to turn things around on the doll. No, he wasn't going to laugh damn it! He promptly stuck another piece of sausage into his mouth in order to keep himself from doing so. Sure, he ended up scowling to himself while he chewed. Nope, this wasn't funny at all!

Marcel would smirk a bit at Virgil's choice of words and promptly shook his head at the others amusing question "Nope! My Papá taught me to use my words, my Mamá taught me to use my fists. And as I told you, my Mamá is much louder" he openly laughed a bit at the memories he had of his Papá scolding him for resorting to violence when someone crossed him or his friends. Meanwhile his Mamá conveniently always made his favorite foods on those days, strange how things worked out like that! The Spaniard would then proceed to chuckle a little bit and shrugged his shoulders a little bit at his lover "You're probably right but it would be nice to not have my lovable idiot push my buttons like that!" he swore that Virgil got off on getting under the Hispanic's skin! But then Marcel had to admit that he was no better than Virgil in that regard as he found his Lover getting fired up to be resoundingly amusing to him! The Hispanic would then let out a loud huff when the other man pointed out his movie knowledge and even worse his glasses "They're just reading glasses! I don't need them!" he stated, letting out a grunt as he eyed where he kept his glasses and pouted a little bit. Curse Virgil for stooping so low! Instead though Marcel suddenly grinned a bit and turned to the other man "Don't you have some gay cowboys to go back to reading!" he stated, teasing his Werewolf about the others choice in reading materials that he has. Thankfully Marcel was now fully distracted by one of his favorite scenes in the movie and seeing the woman get knocked out by the cat had Marcel laughing much harder than most people. However just because he was laughing didn't mean that he wasn't perceptive and he'd smirk a bit as the chuckles died down and he'd grabbed the others wrist. Marcel would then nod his head in agreement with his boyfriend "You're too right Querido" and keep him on his toes the other man certainly did! His Lover was not like anyone else he'd met before and it was refreshing to have someone who was able to keep up with and even surpass Marcel at times. He would then nod his head at the thanks that were given as he popped another piece into his mouth as the next scene came up with the clown doll. Marcel would then hear Virgil's words and chuckled a bit "You should see where this originally came from" that scene was much, much worse in the Hispanic's eyes for very obvious reasons and grinned a bit as he knew what was coming up next in a few moments. It seemed Virgil was insistent on being a stick in the mud as the man turned things around on the doll, all the while Marcel smirked at Virgil as the man on the screen began to go even further with the doll actually asking what he was doing before the doll began to scream trying to get out from under the bed. Then a very...suggestive looking...object wrapped around the dolls throat and pulled him back under with the doll leaving scratch marks in the floor. By this point Marcel was holding back as much laughter as he could before the man spoke about a balloon animal the doll screamed once more. The Hispanic would then turn his head to the other man and smirked a little bit "Well if dolls do ever come to life you'll know what to do!" he joked a little bit with his boyfriend "You'll even have my full permission to...do what you must to fight the evil dolls!" he teased even further as the movie played out and soon they would see the pigtail girl once more as she was now running around looking for the ghost, calling him 'Baby' and other pet names. Once found Marcel would laugh as she began to chase after him and a bunch of over the top things were thrown at her as he announced it was just a booty call before she pressed on before the ghost finally announced that she gave him crabs and Marcel was cackling again, only made worse when the parrot said 'You are the weakest link, goodbye' "I...I love this movie!" Marcel managed to get out in between his bouts of laughter.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Why am I not surprised?" Virgil sighed out softly with no real frustration when he was told it was his momma who told him to use his fists. "Guess she's th' one ya get it from then." Now he wasn't so sure that he wanted to be present for the phone call after all if there were going to be two loudmouths! He chuckled softly at being called a lovable idiot, shrugging a shoulder. "Y'are probably right ta." It was probably frustrating since he did tend to always push things too far. Sometimes, he just might even be worse than Marcel. The brute only gave him a wolfish smirk the moment he claimed to not to need the glasses although he decided to keep any sarcastic comment to himself. Only for his attempt to be nice to come back and bite him right on the a**. "Is that really th' best ya could come up with?" He deadpanned while he gave him the most unamused look he could muster, one which carried through the awful laughing fit. While it was interesting to see this side of the veteran and hear him laugh so much, but he couldn't help but feel like he was dating a twelve-year-old just then.

Virgil warily glanced at him. "Nope." He had no interest to see the original movie that had inspired this scene, to say the least! Not laughing at the absurdity of the scene was quickly became his main mission in life though it was a rather difficult thing to do. His eyes widened a bit when the unmistakable appendage wrapped around the clown's neck to drag him back under the bed. The man telling the doll he was giving him a balloon animal right before the doll started screaming was his breaking point. His bout of laughter was short-lived, however, the man practically inhaling the small part of sausage in his mouth shortly after he lost it. He quickly covered his mouth as he started to cough, chuckling a bit between each one. His coughing fit, thankfully, passed after a few seconds, leaving him breathing slightly raggedly as he straightened up and rubbed at his throat. Though being winded didn't stop him from fixing Marcel with a murderous glare. "Oh, ******** ya." He softly grumbled at him while he picked up his whiskey and drank some of it to soothe his throat. There was no way in ******** hell he was getting any part of his body near a living doll, much less THAT part of his body! The mere thought of doing such a thing had him shivering in disgust. "I swear if I have nightmare 'bout that s**t, I'm goin' t'wake up an' bite ya." He seriously hoped that wouldn't happen despite the that it seemed his imagination kicked into LSD-powered overdrive when he was asleep these days. He went back to eating, hardly paying any attention to the girl chasing the ghost around the house until Marcel began to laugh again. The lycan froze and stared at him in bewilderment, confused as to why he was laughing even harder, much less laughing in the first place. It was kind of sad to think that someone from Spain knew more about American pop culture than a native did! Then again, if this was some of the stuff his country had to offer, Virgil was pretty sure that it was a good thing he hadn't wasted a decent portion of his life watching television. A sight that was equal parts amused and overfond was released as he shook his head at his declaration of love for this stupid movie. At least one of them was enjoying it! "I jus' don't get...any of it." Virgil would admit with another shrug, a small chuckle escaping from him as the stoner baby talked to his marijuana plant. That eventually returned the tender loving care by using the bedsheets to rolled the man into a joint. This time, he did nothing to stop his laughter although he didn't laugh nearly as hard and as loud as his boyfriend had previous at the other scenes."Don't know if I'm jealous of him right now or not..."

(OOC: Lol you're all good my dude, just glad to get a reply)

Marcel couldn't hold back the grin at the others words, oh if only his boyfriend realized just how bad she could be, it'd make him look like a saint! The Hispanic would then laugh a little bit and nodded his head "Ding, ding! You've just hit the nail on the head Querido" he would chuckle a little bit once more "Women from Spain can be strong and hot blooded, she's no exception" the fact that he was as level headed as he was could be considered nothing short of a miracle considering how bad he used to be. Youth gave you the tendency to be much more short tempered it seemed, at least for Marcel that was the case. The Hispanic would have given a much better comeback but at that moment all he could focus on was the movie that was currently playing and he didn't need to be sassed by the other man for it! As the scene with the clown doll unfolded his gaze would slowly linger over towards his boyfriend as his grin would slowly widen as he watched the others reaction to the scene. And a pleased look would form when Virgil finally broke and laughed at the scene before them, although he laughed a bit more while patting the others back when he began to cough. As the two conversed again and Marcel made his little comment he let out an amused chuckle when the other cussed at him "Hmm not right now, I don't feel like ending up like that clown" Marcel's wit didn't cease as amusement clearly danced across his face as he watched the other man once more. He then laughed a bit reached over to pat the others cheek a bit with a smirk "I don't know why you bother Virgil, you can't threaten me with a good time" he stated in a very amused tone before proceeding to laugh a bit at the idea of the other dreaming about this very thing. Once the woman in the movie began her hilarious chase scene with the ghost Marcel couldn't even bother holding back his laughter. He'd watched so many movies in his life that at this point he'd watched a good portion of what both Spain and America had to offer, the man just loved a good movie and several years of loneliness and very little to do meant Marcel had watched more movies than some people in their life. Marcel would then roll his eyes a bit and grinned "It's a comedy, there's not much to get darling" he spoke, using the other man's pet name back on him, As the movie progressed he would chuckle a bit at the man being smoked by the marijuana plant "I don't know about you but I'm pretty jealous, I haven't smoked in too long" Marcel remembered something from so long ago and chuckled "I remember back when Jordan and I would get really high in his backyard, we'd then go swimming and begin tripping out thinking we were flying" it certainly wasn't safe to do of course but they were teens back then and since when did teenagers do smart things?
