So the Raikage was at the dojo. Alright. At least Shu may have picked up his scent. The keyword, may have. The reason why was because there was so many people in and out of that office, there was no way of telling of whose scent was the one that was the Raikage. Ah well. With the white envelope safely held by her, the Hyouton user glanced around at the outside of the dojo first to see if he was outside with Shu in tow, his ears constantly twitching periodically. Nope. No sign of the Raikage outside. Maybe. Hakanai wouldn't know what he looked like. She figured she would checked inside before she goes up to random people and ask for their names. Entered into the dojo, Shu had to be careful due to his massive size, he's likely to knock something off if he wasn't careful. Hakanai glanced into one room as Shu nudged her shoulder. He was five foot at his shoulder so he was big enough to do so. Turned, Hakanai saw his head tilted to a direction. There. They had found him. Luckily, he made it easier by wearing the robe of Raikage. Something she actually never had really seen... or maybe at least once. They both approached him, it would been easily heard. Shu's paws were made for the territory, not the flat grounds of the dojo, so a soft rumble could be felt from each step. "Raikage-sama, may I have a moment of your time?" Hakanai questioned softly. She seemed to carefully pronouncing her words and her accent was soft and gentle but distant. "I'm to give this to you." She explained as her arm raised to hand him a white envelope. Inside, was approval from the hospital that she was fully trained in speech therapy as well audiology and mentally stable to return to her duty as a shinobi. Shu found an area about two foot from Hakanai left side and sat down and watched.

As fate would have it, when blind Xion wandered into the training area from an awfully strange angle, she had admittedly gotten lost and ended up going a route most people didn't bother with, her walking cane came into contact with an unfamiliar object. It leaned against the cane with its weight, and when Xion prodded the thing like a kid poking an unwilling worm, she could tell that this wasn't some weapon. Perhaps it was trash? Feeling quite responsible, Xion picked up the trash, which her fingers told her was a mask of some sort. The condition seemed still good and when she bent the trash it did not flex, so it was clearly not temporary trash like the festival masks were meant to be, but trash that was meant to be in the village for a while. Clearly, this item was not trash, but she had already gotten used to referring to it as such and it wasn't like anyone's feelings were getting hurt.
It also seemed that this leftover mask wasn't the only trash in the area. Since stepping up to pick up the mask, Xion could sense the presence other lumps. If she wasn't near the dojo, where the ground was flat and smooth for training purposes, then she would have thought they were random mounds of dirt. However, she was near the dojo, so that couldn't be the case. Random piles of trash then? How irresponsible. Was there no one in charge of cleaning Kumo? Huffing in mild indignation like the maid she used to be, Xion tapped her way to these disturbances in the flat ground she had felt. Poking and prodding at the first bag, one of the smaller ones, revealed that the trash seemed quite intact for trash. While the lump was not all one piece, the pieces within were bigger than the shredded materials that were usually thrown away. She could feel, even through the cane, that some felt like unopened packages. Being careful to not step on the maybe trash, Xion moved on to inspect the biggest pile. This one was a body. How interesting... She wondered if this meant that she had to stop thinking of the lump sas trash now. The lumps had been like the mask, something Xion was just getting used to referring to by their new name. Oh, perhaps the owner of the body would have a name that sounded like "trash?" That would be most convenient. Xion tried prodding the body even harder with her stick.

Toso's waving towards the specks in distance left an unexpected soul surprised when its place of residence was blindsided by quite literally someone blind. As she toyed with it Toso was unable to speak as he was locked in idle temporary panic. If the mask required being put back on the body to return to it what would that mean if it broke? Every attempt she made to bend the thing had the spirits non-existent heart skipping a beat.
Finally he could some words in edgewise once she stopped doing so. Like an echoy voice of someone distant with traces of what could be considered static the squid would begin to speak to the blind woman. "Bloop. Excuse me madame. Bloop. I have but a sincere request ah, could you ah, put the mask in your hand upon that body you're prodding. Ah, bloop do.. do be careful there's important supplies for a mission around your person...and the mask to. ..please do be careful with that as well." No doubt the voices bloops would incite some form of familiarity to the blind one. Although Toso himself didn't know this as of yet. In truth it seemed he just got a bad hand in his luck of the draw getting a blind person. Hopefully she wasn't deaf to.

Genesis, too, made his way into the dojo shortly after Hachiro. Damn this place was getting packed. He saw an odd man saying "bloop" on the way in, a TON of female and even a f**king lion! This place was crazy! Ah, whatever. Time to get back to training now that he had received this conciliatory headband. With a shrug off his shoulders he tossed the metal imbdued cloth into his pocket and unfastened his sword, he wanted to hit something.
Genesis unrolled one of the scrolls he had been given for techniques of the blade. His chosen weapon was the Greatsword and he would use it well. The first technique was simple: a slow overhead slash originating from the shoulder. Sacrificing speed for power? Cool. Genesis hoisted his blade onto his shoulder and, after stepping into the blow, brought the heavy blade down onto the wooden training dummy. Simple enough.
The next technique was also rather simple, running forward Genesis dragged the sword behind him. Stopping, he pivoted on his forward foot and let his back swing around. As he did so he performed a horizontal swipe with his weapon, letting momentum and strength combine for a blazingly fast swipe. It took a little effort to stop himself though so he would have to watch out for that in the future.
This next one was going to be a bit more difficult than the previous two. He had to take the sword, this great mammoth blade, and bring it to his stomach pommel first. After doing so he would have to stab out with it both accurately and swiftly. Genesis took a few attempts to balance the blade so that he could keep the pommel on his sternum while also keeping it level. Without a hand on the blade the weight was really working against him, causing him to tire quickly while holding it in this position. This would have really been a great workout, just holding this thing like this for as long as he could. Digressing from his strength training, once he felt confident in the balance he stabbed outwards. Due to the piercing power, strength of the jab and the weight behind it, the blade sliced right through the wood. If it was a human opponent he felt confident he would be dead.
All of these techniques so far had been simple. They didn't require any chakra, just brute force. This next one was going to be a different sort of beast. He was now going to be expected to combine stamina with chakra for a new form off attack. Supposedly if he did it right when his blade hit the ground it would cause a small tremor. The resulting shockwaves should throw even the most sure-footed ninja off balance if not even slightly. Channeling the chakra into his blade Genesis hoisted the massive weapon onto his shoulder. Performing the first technique he learned Genesis stepped into the blow and let his sword fall onto the ground once more. As soon as he did so he let the chakra go from his weapon into the ground below. When it did he imemdiately felt a small earthquake spread out, causing him to shake in place. It didn't affect his footing as he knew it was coming but another ninja would be sorely surprised.
Time to ramp up the difficulty already? Cool. This one was going to be a little bit tougher than the rest since he was getting into the intermediate levels of difficulty. However, he was confident he coudl perform it. Working with his weapon all this time had caused him to grow strong, so when the technique asked him to place the sword on the ground then, with all his significant strength, to hoist it up and perform a swift upwards strike, he was confident that he could manage just that. Walking forward Genesis let his giant sword fall tip first into the ground. Keeping one hand on the pommel and one on the haft he yanked it upwards as hard as he could, letting the tip of the blade rise to the sky in a swift but powerful upwards strike. Any opponent would have been split balls to brain by that attack, undoubtedly.
The next technique was a little bit easier on the muscles than the last one. By resting his blade on his arm it should allow him to do a quick swipe with the weapon. Seemed odd, but ok. He hoisted his weapon off the ground and placed it upon his arm as the technique indicated that he should in order to pull it off on the first try. Genesis was both impatient and didn't like failure. Rearing back his arm Genesis used the displaced weight to swing his sword faster than ordinarily allowed to, albeit with less reach. For an opponent who was used to large, wide and slow swings this technique would throw them off their game a good bit. He was unused to the movement so he practiced it a few more times before he was competent in it and confident he could perform it in the heat of battle. The sense of progress was good; he could feel himself become stronger with every technique he learned!
The next stage was going to be a very difficult one. His strength had already significantly improved from wielding his blade but, that being said, the requirements for this next stage was ridiculous. The first technique was going to exhaust him, he could already tell. He was required to kick off the ground and go high into the air before spinning end over end in the air and bringing the blade down. A combination of momentum, his own strength and weight would bring the blade crashing down. Genesis started stretching his legs out. Most of his training had involved his arms and not his legs, so he needed to work out the tension built up in his muscles. Taking the sword in his grip, Genesis bunched his legs up beneath him. Kicking off with all his might he soared into the air. At the apex of his jump he turned, end over and, and started spinning as he fell. Right before he hit the ground he swung his sword down, splitting a training dummy in two. As his feet once more landed on solid ground, he grinned. He was getting powerful
The next two techniques were going to be bundled up into one, big, complex, action. Basically by using Chakra he could either move 50 meters very quickly or slightly increase his speed for a much longer amount of time, countering the weight of his blade. First things first, he was going to have to practice buildign chakra in his feet. He was tired from all the training so he was unsure how this would go. Weaving the handsigns he started building chakra in his feet. It was difficult to get the required amount as these were not easy techniques. He unclipped his sword and let it fall to the ground. Using the built up chakra he started running around. Genesis was testing the chakra to see if it sped him up without having to lug the giant blade around. It made him slightly faster but not a significant amount. Time to keep practicing. Returning to his sword he clipped it back on, if he was going to perform the technique with the blade he might as well practice with it on. After attempting the techniques a few more time he was starting to get it. Drawing his sword and building up the chakra in his feet he attempted it again. He set his sights on a training dummy some 40 meters away and suddenly vanished in a blur of movement. Appearing behind the dummy almost instantly, he took a swing at the dummy. He was certain if it was an enemy combatant he would be sufficiently surprised. Time to adjust it. Now it he would attempt to speed himself up slightly over a longer course. He adjusted he chakra so that it was just as strong but you eek out slowly over time instead of pour out of his feet. He gave it a try. Using the technique he sprinted across the room! Surprisingly, he was going much faster than normal and hardly felt the weight of his blade. This was going to be a big help to him in battles. Hopefully this let him keep up with speedier opponents.

Hiki [ Saw ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: The practitioner takes their weapon into a single hand, raising the opposite arm to rest the majority of the weight. The user then performs a swift sidestep and attempts to hack at their opponent with a single hard rising vertical strike. Because of the balancing of the weapon against their arm, this technique is extremely fast and offers only a minor window of opportunity for the opponent as it ends. Treated as complex when interacting with small weapons and unarmed foes.
Nibui Sutoraiki [ Dull Blade ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: The practitioner imbues their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty swing or stab. Then, at the opportune moment, the user stops mid-attack, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap. This wave of chakra travels two meters, plus an additional meter for every rank above E-Rank.
___S t a g e F o u r [ B ] Tetsu Rakka [ Iron Drop ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: The practitioner musters all their might, and with a hard kick leaps high overhead. The user will then dive back down with their massive weapon ready to pierce through or crush their target. Treated as complex against unarmed and/or unarmored opponents.
Bakuyaku Ugoki [ Explosive Movement ] Rank: B :: Complex Description: A technique developed by shinobi in order to remove the weight burden of their weapon for a brief moment. By placing a hefty amount of chakra to their lower half, the user fortifies and strengthens their muscles; no longer will it feel as though they are lugging around a weapon that could easily be the same weight as they are. However, because of its mechanics, this technique is not meant to be used for long durations. The strengthening of the muscles allows the user to make a quick dash or leap in order to close great distances, nothing more. Allows the user to travel up to 50 meters at the speed of Shunshin. Has a cooldown of one post.
Hayai Ugoki [ Swift Movement ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: An alteration of [ Bakuyaku Ugoki ]. The practitioner applies the same method of chakra reinforcement, but rather than allow it to fade out in a single burst, they further mold the chakra in order to hold it in place. For a short amount of time, the user will able to move around as if they were completely free of their weapon and/or armor's weight burden. Lasts 1 post per rank.
Nobi Ken [ Stretching Blade ] Rank: B :: Complex Description: As if the length of the practitioner's giant weapon wasn't long enough; this technique was developed to further increase the reach of such weapons. By pressing chakra to their pommel, the user manifests a skin over their weapon. This skin will stretch around the entire weapon granting an additional five or six inches of length in addition to added chakra damage. At any point during the duration of this technique, the user is able to cast off the chakra skin like a projectile slash. Lasts [4] posts. The chakra wave has a range of four meters.
"Bloop"? "Bloops" were a lot like "borks," right? Yes, this, and not the sudden voice coming from the mask, was the question of the hour for Xion. The feeling... the feeling was so familiar... and Xion thought so long that she very possibly could have been assumed to be deaf. However, after about two minutes, she suddenly blurted out, "Do you know anyone that goes 'blork' by any chance?". Apparently, forget what this strange mask-things problem was. Xion figured it was more appropriate to get her answers first, and in a way, she wasn't wrong. Right now, she had the upper hand.

__ Well, albeit unintentional, they did manage to weed out one would-be genin who still needed to get their permission to pursue their training. Selina did pretty well, which left Ada with confidence for any assignments where they'd have to put on a performance in the future. Granted, they still had some practice to do for it. Ada cupped her mouth for a moment at the sight of the man's bare chest. Sure, she was only supposed to pay attention to the religious sigil, but even she could only put aside hormonal urges so far. She managed to calm herself with a soft cough, then nodded to Genesis when he took his leave. 'Dammit. I lost my nerve.' She inwardly cursed herself then looked back to Selina. A rather low bow was offered when they were alone for a bit, "I'm sorry. My followup was terrible. We'll keep investigating for now." Ada paused to stand upright again then added, "Silver lining: at least we know that two people will be seeking the proper channels to gain approval to operate within the village." She mustered a reassuring smile for her partner. "While we're here again, Selina, was there any training you wanted to take care of?" They had a few options here. They could take time for individual training, they could get to know each other's abilities in a mock battle, or they could just leave and get back to their KPD work.

At that moment, Xion smiled rather... devilishly. Ah, of course, she recognized that as this person was in the dojo, he was probably another shinobi of Kumogakure, and of course, she recognized that meant that she would need to make peace and work with him. She couldn't keep him away from his body forever, and such a long and tortuous method of revenge wasn't her style anyways.
However, it was only fair that an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
In her best polite servant voice, Xion assured the culprit she did not yet know the name of, "One moment, master, there is some other business I must attend to first."
It appeared that the spirit within the mask was aware of what happened to the mask. Perfect. Xion felt a breeze stir the back of her skirt, which elicited an, "Oh my," from her as she tried to pat her skirt down as quickly as possible. She could hear the snickers of two passing nin who would see... knee-length bloomers. Oooh, how scandalous.
"How strange," Xion intentionally mused aloud, "That breeze didn't seem natural. You didn't perhaps cause that with a fuuton technique, did you Mr. Toast? If it was, then it was completely uncalled for. After all, I just paid back my debt." The whimsical tone of Xion's voice made it hard to hear the venom in her words... Actually, was Xion even angry. It was hard to tell, especially since the person in question wasn't sure herself.
"By the way," Xion offered a late introduction, a curtsy naturally coming out since she had been talking semi-formally, "I am Xion Akagami. Pleasure." Acting like a maid, at least this blatantly, wasn't her usual style. It was her way of keeping Toso distant because of the rather unexpected grudge she bore towards him.

Of all things it had to be something typically heated before being eaten. At the same time it could have interpreted as a disguised stab that while not showing it she was threatening him. Likewise Toso did the same with interpretations. Okusama, a term for a married woman. It could be interpreted as the squid calling Xion old and elderly enough to have already been married or it could have been interpreted as him calling her a respectable woman thanks to the sama attached honorific. If this was a war of verbiage Toso would get the final word. The brief emotion of competitiveness flaring up within. Even though this was far from a competition.

Metaphorical lightning sparked between the two, Toso's boring face versus Xion's politely smiling one. Simply put, Xion didn't trust a single word Toso said. Why? Well... How to put it... She had no reason other than the feeling of wanting to blame something on Toso. Yes, that seemed to be it. This battle was proving to be quite entertaining.
Oh. And then he referred to Xion as Okusama, and strange as it may seem, Xion... genuinely found this funny. Wut? Her perfect smile lost form for a moment before she fell prey to a giggle fit. "What was that, Toast?" the overly polite tone broke back down to Xion's just natural way of speaking, a bouncing almost whimsical sort of speech, "Okusama?". The connotations of the word, married and respectable, and their applications to Xion tickled her funny bone, it seemed. "An Okusama I am not, I assure you," Xion explained as her giggle fit died down, "You must be blind if that is what you think when you see me, Toast-curry. Oh, that's right, if you don't like Toast, then should I call you Toast-curry? Curry? Curry Bread? Ashes? Hoho? Santa Claus? Trash-o? It seemed he wasn't going to escape Xion's nature for naming things. A bead of sweat forming, despite how cheerful she sounded it was certainly rather direct with some of the nicknames she was choosing. However, she would not get his goat."I suppose if you have a penchant for naming folks bloop. Curry sounds suitable, as many bear the consistency of liquid and I find myself a rather fluid individual."
The imaginary lightening once blue shifted red, Toso was going to turn the tables now. Lets see if he could make the maid feel a tinge of guilt for her earlier statements on vision and take a low jab at hers. "I apologize bloop, I am indeed blind, colorblind that is, bloobloobloo I think its quite humorous for someone whose vision impaired herself to call another person blind and be partially correct. Ah, no offense bloop." Xion would have been hit with the curveball Toso was indeed blind, while not blind like her it weakened her verbal stab as Toso countered with his guilt trip followed by a backstab combo. __That is why you must always listen to instinct! A magical girl always has the best intuition. They can sense evil, or in this case mild confusion as to the law of the land. Selina felt good about herself, and didn't feel at all like she was a spastic shell of a person controlled by some outside force which was probably tipsy when the force decided to make her do something almost out of character. She thought for a second as Ada asked her if she wanted to do anything there, thinking about the training she needed to get done. It was true that Selina could use more practice. Furthermore....
"Flowers gleam and glow, let your powers shine~" She sang as flower petals materialized from her body. Selina was able to use the melody of her song to mold her chakra, a feat otherwise only successful with the usage of handseals. The flower petals took up a purpose as they surrounded the royal maiden. Selina then brought her hand in front of her as she pushed through the air forward. This caused the flower petals to shine as they then moved Ada backwards a good thirty feet away. Once the movement was complete, which was done at the speed of a body flicker, the petals all disbursed and wilted around her.
"We never finished that spar!" Selina said joyously. The last spar they engaged in was interrupted by the now Raikage. If Ada was interested, then it would give them a good way to truly learn each other's powers. If not, then at least Selina learned that technique properly. Good thing too, because the last time she used it she accidentally shot a cardboard box straight off a seventeen story building.
Her chakra training was completed for the time being and Unki was able to roll up and replace the scrolls. She took a breath, fluffed her hair, and skipped onwards to find Toso. The act of finding Toso, however, was quickly becoming a real game of hide and seek. If her squid friend was here, then he wasn’t in this room….or the next room, or behind this pole, or behind that door, or in this classroom offering lessons out of the goodness of his squidy-heart. Unki may have skipped through a good quarter of the academy before deciding to venture to the outdoors. From a window, she caught a glimpse of Toso- and madam maid- standing a ways away. Unki felt the excitement from a fairly fruitful search and scrambled to grab the requested scrolls. She open and flung herself through the door, holding both scrolls outward in one hand and eagerly called out. ”You are here! Yay! I got the scrolls and you got all the goodies!” The girl would hold her hand until Toso would take his new scrolls and continue to speak ; ”Madam maid appears too! I’m Unki Amano!” Unki chippery attitude probably came from feeling either rejuvenated after training or partially exhausted from lack of sleep.
