She snorts, "Yeah, apparently...and here's the kicker....Mom doesn't even know if my father is even still alive or not. Not to mention, she never gave me his name or anything else. Just told me how they met and all."

She stares at Psy, "Apparently, high elves aren't supposed to have kids with humans, my father & mom were taken prisoner when their affair was found out."

"I haven't seen Ryzan since I've gotten back. But apparently, he was the one that brought Mom here, even bought the house she lives in....the house I grew up in."

She finishes her drink, and gets up to make another one...this one stronger than the first one.

"Ryzan said that this information about my mother and father also impacts someone else. And he has something else to tell me, but this other person needs to be told first, for some reason."

She turns to Psy and pulls her hair up. "I don't even have friggin' elf ears, Psy! How can I be half elf?"

She goes and sits back down at her seat.

"This is so confusing....all my life, it's only been me and Mom, she never would talk about my father, it looked like it pained her so much whenever I would ask, I just eventually stopped asking."

She swirls her drink in the glass. "And now, not only do I find out that Ryzan, of all people, not only knows my mother, he helped rescue her and bought my friggin' childhood home! And I finally find out the story of my father, but I don't have his name, or even know if he's alive or not. He doesn't even know I exist, Psy! All my father knew was that Mom was pregnant with me....."

"I don't think he has to talk to my father, he made it seem like my being my father's child would impact someone else. But hell if I know who..."

She sighs and sips her drink.

"Thanks for letting me vent....Mom and I had a good cry yesterday, but now that I've had time to really let this all sink in, I'm just more confused."

"I'm still curious as to who this 'other person' is, and how long I'm gonna have to wait to find out this other piece of information from Ryzan." She sighs heavily.

"Though, I've gone this long without knowing about my father, I guess I can keep waiting to find out this other bit."

She shrugs, "No idea, haven't seen him in a couple of days. His sleep schedule may be wonky again. That, and TES is on the run somewhere..."
