Effect: || This choker requires 10 Posts of wearing it before the power is activated. During this time the item melds with the user's, and once completed it cannot be used by anyone else. By wearing this object, the owner is able to utilize a strange, black insect horde of 1000 that carry with them their own, unique bite that sets them apart. These insects firstly come from the collar as a fine, course mist similar in a way to both fog and sand. This mist is, in fact, the insects in what is known as the "Pre-larval" form. Upon generation, which bears no cost, the wearer must choose one of two options that can be switched between during the duration. The cost of switching is set at 10 chakra or stamina, and requires 1 Defensive or Offensive activation depending on the aspect chosen.
xxx→ Aspect of Torment
► The Aspect of Torment takes the strange mist sand and forces it to form into the dark, twisted bodies of the insects. These look similar in nature to scarabs, but their carapace resembles the horror-filled skull of an infant. They screech and hiss in a menacing manner that bears a C-ranked Fear Effect that lasts for the duration of this form when one is covered by the insects. The primary function of this swarm is to devour chakra and stamina, at a rate of 25 per 500 Insects placed upon a source per post. Unlike other monstrosities and Aburame insects, Bijuu/Cursed energy/Evil Chakra do not in any way influence these insects, and instead doubles the amount of chakra devoured during the timeframe. This chakra is stored within the choker, and can be drawn from at a later time. These insects can be utilized with Aburame techniques, though doing so requires the expenditure of the cost of switching Aspects to create more. This form has an upkeep cost of 5 Chakra and 5 Stamina, though this can be paid through the energy absorbed by the insects.
xxx→ Aspect of Hunger
► This Aspect takes on a decidedly more defensive, or supplemental, role than the Aspect of Torment. The first recognizable benefit is that by using 500 of the insects one is able to create a pair of glistening, black insect wings that hum, and mist, with a dark aura. Those within six yards are struck by a strange, C-ranked oppression aura that makes one feel the onset of paranoia. This will end when outside of the range of the wings' effects. The second is the ability to use all 1,000 insects to create a black, glistening dress that resembles a queen's regalia. This dress exudes the same dark aura, but comes with an additional effect: all physical strikes from non-energy based damage (Fire, Lightning, etc) will be reduced by 1 rank. This is done by absorbing that higher rank in chakra or stamina from the attack, though this transfers the absorbed amount directly to the store within the choker itself. Both effects cost 30 Chakra or Stamina a post for continuous use, and unlike the Aspect of Torment, does not cost anything to switch between.

► Tiny pellets launched from sling. Upon strike, releases a burst of gas that is large enough to only effect one individual. Once inhaled, instills a B-ranked hallucinogenic effect that makes all they look at turn into a nightmare. This can instill fear in a target, but is not mandatory: every individual's reaction to terror is different, after all.

Nozomi's mother almost lost her husband. She wasn't able to conceive a child and being in a high branch, they have strict rules. They loved each other but reproduction was needed. Her husband had threaten that both him and his wife would leave the Clan if they were to divorce and he had to marry another woman. The tensions were running high until one day, they were blessed! Now their only fear was if the child would be strong enough for the bugs to live within the child.

On May 14th, the day she was born, immediately she was placed onto specific hive to see if she will survive the technique. No one was to be in the room for few hours. The parents had heard their child screaming and wailing on top of her lungs but then, silence. They feared she didn't make it. Already braced themselves, they entered into the room and saw she was alive and well, cooing happily as bugs crawled over her and many already settled inside of her. Pleased, they had decided to name the child, Nozomi, meaning beautiful hope.

Growing up for her wasn't easy. Moved from one home to another; loaded with responsibilities and duties, she just wanted to explore and go on different adventures. Not to mention, each home she went to, although they are part of the Clan, some homes weren't kind and manage to blackmail the young naive Nozomi from refraining telling her parents what they did to her. She is still very shy and quiet like many Aburame but she can be very expressive at times. The fact about Aburame not liking the light isn't 100% true, after all, bugs like warmth though they do have low vision. Once she was fully trained and succeeded different members in her branch family in different tactics, she went off to the academy and graduated as a Genin and moved back to live with her parents.

The moment she graduated, so much had happened. The Sero reacted in such a way there was monsters. Nozomi fought alongside with few people. Even then, Nozomi had felt like a failure. Shadow confirmed it and it decreased the young Genin's confidence. No longer trusting her abilities or even her own bugs, slowly but surely, Nozomi had been working hard around the farm that the Aburame Clan was responsible for. The fact that they just got granted the islands, Nozomi and her family had to work hard and fast to keep up with the demands. Thankfully, there was help with a Senju user to help the productivity of the plants to be quicker. Even then, the work was not done. They must be tended to and care for each day by the bugs and the members of the Aburame. The farm started to thrive but Nozomi was still lost. She was must more quiet and less outspoken to stand up for others. She was still haunted and believe that what happened and all those lives lost was her fault.

Mihoko is a calm and analytical young lady, she is relaxed and collected, she doesn't let stress or anxiety show on her exterior and has a good grasp on her emotions. She is a relatively affectionate young girl and is perfectly fine with what others would consider romantic gestures for friends, as a result she can come across as flirtatious without meaning to do so. She tends to be rather quiet around people, although she is friendly, she would prefer to listen. She is very easy going and forgiving, she doesn't get angry easily. She is imaginative and creative, she is an artistic individual who enjoys things such as playing guitar or drawing.

She is nihilistic and views life as having very little meaning. She often feels numb on the inside, she comes across as cold and disinterested in others. She is easily bored and needs stimulation. She has a slight dependency on drugs and alcohol in order to get through her days. She doesn't like to show her emotions to other people, and she doesn't like to become too attached to others. She doesn't like to show that she cares about other people, and she doesn't view herself as worthy of love.

Mihoko grew up in a fairly normal household with her mother Kaien Suzu. Her mother was only eighteen when she had Mihoko to an unknown man. Kaien spoke nothing of her father, although Mihoko didn't mind, assuming her mother must have had her reasons for not telling her. Mihoko was praised by her family for her affinity with the elements, her family was rather lowly and considered that Mihoko may bring them to fame with her talents. She went through very basic chakra training as a child in order to help control her elements. She originally wanted a very simple life, and planned to settle down with a boy around her age who was very well off. She trained as a shinobi, although she never desired to really go anywhere with it, and was happy living a peaceful life. However this young man was very controlling and abusive, she finally left and decided to become a shinobi to make herself stronger, so no one would try to trap her again.

▬ The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at gennin, C at chunnin, B at Jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.

Fear can be a great motivator. Fear of a new place could be a great start as he had to get antiquated with a whole new society that was different than his father’s Village in the land of Iron. At an early age Saizo wouldn’t understand why some people would do something that was completely stupid. This was just walls he would spend tearing down later in life.
Sometimes the best motivator is to try and stride away from his father’s shadow. After learning the mere basics of the katana from his father he would stray away and find a new teacher. This would become a goal that would coincide with becoming a Sunagakure Ninja. Stepping away from his father’s side and more to his Mother’s side. If I had to explain myself, I guess I would start off by telling you to get ready for boredom. I've had my ups and downs just like everyone else, but to say that my experiences outside of this were exemplary in any way would be an exaggeration. Lost my parents at a young age from an outside-of-village conflict, probably when I was around 12. I've been without them for a few years, so I had to spend some time outside of the Academy setting up my living situation before I could continue my education. As such, I found that my classmates were quite a ways younger than me. At first, it wasn't bad; they looked to me as a sort of inspiration, like I was the older, wiser leader that would bring them to fruition and success within the classroom.

Even today, I can still remember the disappointed looks on their face when they learned this wasn't the case. That the lot of them were all more adequately trained than I was, that each of their spars with me likely ended in their victory. This was an advantage they had with both parents. So I suppose, if you were to say that anything was my 'struggle', it would be that I had to learn what I know now on my own. I wasn't immature about it; if anything, the bitter taste of defeat that came from losing to my juniors inspired me to redouble my efforts, to become more than I was. It was in these circumstances that I started to persevere, that I overcame them in spars after I learned to properly make use of my superior, older physicality. It was at this point that I started to earn back those initial, silver-laced bouts of praise and respect from these younger shinobi-in-training. For a while, life at the academy continued like this, with my continual development growing in spades above those of my peers. It was good to live this way, finally validated.

That was, until their Kekkei Genkai began to manifest. Don't get me wrong, I bear no ill-will towards my classmates; I'm genuinely happy they found something that helped them develop into more capable shinobi. Even with this in mind, a nagging thought kept digging into me any moment I had spare time to think; that i wouldn't be enough. That I wouldn't catch up to them--because after these Kekkei Genkai were discovered, most of the class overtook me within weeks of their discovery--that I would remain at the bottom of the barrel without one of their gifts.

For a while, I continued in this rut. Going to the academy and learning about the history of shinobi and the village was easy enough; you didn't need a Kekkei Genkai to answer simple questions about the Raikage and other influential figures. But when it came to sparring, it had gone back to a complete washout. The only time I succeeded was when I was paired with one of the rare few without a gift in my class. It was beyond humiliating, to be bested again and again by those who seemingly obtained these powers from nowhere. This cycle nearly proved to be the end of me, until I met a particular couple of shinobi who changed my outlook on the situation.

Jeon and Jay Park. The pair of higher-ups within the village seemed to stumble upon me on one of my darker days; a fortunate twist of fate if I've ever seen one. After a lot of prodding, they finally got me to open up and really start to explain myself and what I was feeling. One brief conversation later had me understand that the two of them were actually twins, given a bloodline that allows them to merge together. Separate, they were ultimately not very different from me, and had a few pointers to share as a result. However, their pointers weren't the important part. They weren't my motivation.

What ultimately motivated me was seeing a pair of shinobi with similar circumstances to mine in such close confidence with the Raikage. To see them in such a successful situation despite the drawbacks. I knew I could do it, and the fire that conversation lit within me was the hottest I'd ever felt. In the days to follow, I was relentless in my training, borrowing methods from other experienced physical practitioners to make my lessons more effective. What they had in Kekkei Genkai, I would match with my blade.

And I did. I bridged the gap through the skilled edge of my blade, and received rather high marks during graduation time at the Kumo Ninja Academy. Now, I keep those ideals close to my heart, and I prepare myself for the journey I've yet to face. Kekkei Genkai or not, I will carve my name into the history of the Cloud, one swing at a time.

Life for Tetsuya started in the wilderness, raised by his parents in the mountains of Kumogakure. Basic survival skills and hunting were taught to him at a very young age, including archery which Tetsuya developed a great talent for. Learning how to live off the land that surrounded them, he became quite fascinated with all of the local plants and wild life; often venturing out on his own when he was old enough. As if slowly converting himself to that of the creatures he observed from afar, he'd mimic their movements and sounds, using both to effectively travel around the mountains and communicate - albeit, very poorly. Despite that, he never appeared to be frightened by any of the creatures he encountered, drawing their attention by being unable to sense any form of fear or danger from the boy.

What changed his life forever, was the day he stumbled upon an abandoned mine, the twinkle of an object within its depths calling out to his curiosity. The entrance to the old mine collapsed after he entered, and Tetsuya spent several days searching for a way out, finally finding an exit that would be the peak of a mountain. At the brink of exhaustion and starvation, he cried for his parents, only to be met by a giant bird before he passed out. When he came to, he was laying in a carriage traveling a road between mountains on either side. The second time he awakened, he was in a stranger's home, lying in their bed. An old farmer 'adopted' Tetsuya once he was back on his feet again, offering him a chance to work by helping him on the farm. Honing his own skills during the meantime, he was surprised how useful they became in an area bustling with people and buildings around every corner. Helping people with their day-to-day problems and fending off aggressive beasts from harming the citizens.

A few years passed, and Tetsuya felt adventure calling out to him once again. He set off with no real direction, soon finding himself in the hot deserts of Sunagakure.

A branch of the main Akimichi clan, Chokayama Akimichi was born under one of the clan's most notoriously boisterous and powerful members. As it stood, she was expected to take on her father's traits: headstrong to a fault, cavalier attitude brighter than the stars in the sky with a smile to match, and a wrathful mean streak towards those who find themselves his opposite. To say she was her father's daughter would be almost a low ball. She is nigh on his twin. Large, in charge, and strong enough to out haul a barge through sheer willpower, it's no surrpise she went into ninja training as soon as she was able to do so. And boy did she ever shine, just like all of her classmates.

Kay, as she more often is called, was never concerned with how her classmates saw her. She was a big girl, but as was the style of the Akimichi that was subject to change on a moments notice. She both was and still is a loud ********, but you either get with it or hate her; she simply didn't care. There was something magnetic about the youth. She sought to grow, to elevate herself and those around her. By graduation, even those who struggled found themselves going for headbands largely due to the almost nagging student always pushing, always willing to tutor, always willing to beat a** and get her a** beat to aid. Now, her tale begins on the day she was to go and get her headband.

Personality: Mizuki is a certain kind of attention whore. The kind that likes to flirt with anyone that has a pulse just for the fun of it. Maybe it's the back and forth, or the thrill of it but either way its the same in the end. Innuendo, compliments, jokes, and flattery are her poison. Perhaps it's a developmental quirk because of where she spent her childhood? While she'll happily tone it down for those that make such a request, the default setting is definitely on. Interestingly enough she actually shies away from anything beyond shallow flirting and NSA arrangements between adults. Talk of love, babies, or marriage sends a shiver running down her spine.

When she's not tossing out romance bait Mizuki tends to be rather laid back in most situations, preferring to chat others up, trade stories, and cook. That last bit has always been a hobby of hers. A quick way to get on her good side is definitely talking food. With her love of food also comes a willingness to get dirty and work hard. However she does have a bad side and a really easy way to end up on her s**t list is trying to make her cover up more and asking her to baby sit. Otherwise she often has a smile on her face, and sometimes even just hums or sings for the fun of it. In a way she's rather optimistic about life in general.

There's not much to be said for where Mizuki came from, no father and a mother who traded flesh for cash in a house of ill repute. A less than desirable life for the young child, she squirreled money away until Mizuki would have enough money to make it to Kumogakure and a chance at a better life. With what money her mother had given her a pre-teen Mizuki paid for passage with a Takumi based trading group that was on it's way to Kumogakure before it would leave the land of lightning. That military village was where she hoped to find a life outside the brothel. Little of consequence happened on the young girl's journey, Well perhaps one thing of consequence did occur. Among some of the others hitching a ride was a boy around her age named Kaneo who provided her company for the trip. Kaneo had originally intended to leave the country but as they became fast friends he decided to follow Mizuki to Kumogakure. With precious few options available to two destitute children signing up for shinobi training as it represented food and shelter. An obvious choice to make for two starving children.

The years after these conflicts went by filled with training, classes, and tests. Eventually the time came to graduate even if perhaps a little later than some of the children who lived with their families within the village. Graduation papers in hand, Mizuki wait's for a new assignment.

Kaneo fell in with Mizuki on the trip to Kirigakure, and they've been fast friends ever since. Though an orphan, he never really felt too bothered by it. About the only complaint to level at the whole process was the inherent lack of wealth it saddled him with, and the obvious underfunding of the homes he bounced between. The young man also never possessed what one might call outstanding vision, unless you count finding the best places to, uh, people watch in that assessment. Naturally, running into someone around his own age with the sense of drive to alter their standing that he lacked proved enticing. Though he'd originally booked passage with the same company that ferried Mizuki to her new home, he wasn't actually intending to head anywhere in particular. He figured he'd end up going the opposite direction in fact, but a pretty face bade him stay in the Land of Water and he complied - though he'd probably never admit that, as Mizuki might put, he followed "dat a**" to his new home. He has, however, found himself a companion of sorts in his fellow vagabond and newly minted comrade in arms.
