I would definitely love for Taarab and/or Cabriole to meet Fairweather, Mind. Especially because at first he's going to be slow to adjust, I think. He needs someone besides Suria to show him that it's okay to be here and life doesn't really suck. 8U
As for Tembrook, a good role model might be something that could influence what he decides to do when he grows up, so meeting one of them might be good/interesting. xD Otherwise they can always meet once Tem grows up. He should be around that long, at least...

@mind - yeah, only two weeks more of school then a nice summer break before heading back to the grind. *happy dancing* By fall I won't have nearly as much time to RP (I'm rather slow too *sigh*), but I absolutely ADORE plotting and fleshing out characters!
The clarifications of the flock rules/lifestyle/etc. are most welcome! Especially that of the status of males.
Luinil is a traditional harpy in that she'll take different partners for each of her breedings. But she does tend to favor a special 'pet' more than just grabbing a random male. Is why she's upset that Aranel got away during the gryphon attack. Lost her best eye candy/pet. *sympathetic sniffles*
I also love the expansion of roles within the flock with the artisan's guild. Luinil's familiar, Elen, is a talented little ferret who's temper is "stylish". lol She's going to LOVE working with some of the artisans on jewelry making for the harpies and similar sorts of projects.
@pippi - Poor Shuckles! He is such an amusing fella. xd
BTW, I posted my humble attempt at the CYO harpy humanoid in the Flock guild. Was much fun! Now I'm off to exercise some of Luinil's frustrations by working on her RP capture of Finian. hehehe

mindsend @Mei Silja: I'll poke around and see who has a harpy willing to capture your boy -- They may not keep him as their own, obviously, since thats actually supposedly fairly uncommon. However, if no ones available for it to be official, it can always be done by an NPC in the Harpy Guild just to get you in there. Marzipanz Aw, thank you Mind~

@MArz, sorry but Snowfell has antlers. A mare with a single horn and flat hooves won't be enough to catch him. He wouldn't shy at attacking her if she tried taking his freedom or even suggest she could try to. He wouldn't believe her and think she was a joke as he heard of harpies as sharp clawed demons.
Thank you a lot for the offer though!~ However for his capture it needs to be someone who has the means to do it.

@Yami: whoops just realized your's is a girl, not a boy -- was it supposed to be Lyra being adopted as a foal? Or simply joining the herd?
@Pippi: XD I'm guessing you mean "by heartattack" cause they wouldn't touch one of their sisters properties.Heck, Dragain told me she prefers it if females do not capture claimed stallions (Stallions with mates). Males are always someones son or brother, so that doesn't give them protection, but mated ones, especially raising families, tend to be let go if caught. o3o So there is code of respecting other females claims on stallions.
@Saedusk: Awesome! 83 <3 Its really up to Suria how much Tembrook gets to see them, BUT I think Since his mother IS the commander he might end up with some minimal time in the other ones, acting as a good rolemodel and showing the little stallions that its definitely a happy life XD
@ladykirin: 8D YAY FOR THE ARTISAN GUILD! XD and having a ferret join is a good concept, since those little pawed hands can make their own little things, and can get help from other soquili, and help those that have hooves.
I'm pondering having a bunch of different familiar companions join, since Familiars aren't just animals but are spirit touched companions able to speak the soquili language (rather then the non-touched animals that are usually used as food of a lower intelligence then the familiars who are about the same level as the soquili) to help the hooved work in trades that are more difficult with hooves (having to use tools made by the clawed to help them work it) and gather materials, actually, that could be used as NPC's when I'm not RPing them in the guild. o3o Since it'd help flesh things out a bit since its just starting up, and help keep it open.
Though really, we could just have them be NPC NPC's and not actually exist lol.
Taarab would be happy to work with Elen! 8D And wouldn't try to eat her, obviously lol.

Pity he left, he didn't understand what he was missing ;D Especially since its a lazy life of having a couple fields in the forest to exersize and play and roll around in, having your food brought to you if you're a carnivorous male rather then having to hunt, having fresh greens brought to you if you're not. The ability to just focus on dance or art or play around, and not truly have to worry too much about predators since the harpies are protective. And its not like those who misbehave are tortured, Usually worst that happens is a flaring of feathers, a flexing of claws in the ground, a firm scolding, stamping, and maybe a n** in a standard horse display of dominance.
@Mei: Well, Rhea doesn't have to use brute force to capture him o3o She could ease him into an ambush with some NPC harpies, and still get you your capture, with her acting as bait perhaps? It doesn't have to be a direct fight with her. Could even work with my Kamunyak NCPC to bring him in and herd him into the main group once the ambush trap is sprung, since both of them would have difficulty catching him alone due to issues (Kamunyak is small but clawed, and Rhea is lacking somewhat in weapons,) so they're more required to use teamwork and quick action planning to do some of the things the rest of the flock does. o3o <3
So if I continue having issues finding someone OPEN to capture him (with the time etc) we could do it that way.. or just have it backdated with him having been captured by an NPC and brought into the safezone so the RPs can start?

Yes, Mindsend has a point. Though Rhea may lack talons and such she can certainly be some sort of bait for a stealthy ambush. It most certainly wouldn't be difficult for her to play a damsel in distress or a flirty lure. Whatever gets works to get her what she desires. XD I wont be offended if you do wish to decline, though.

Sorry it took so long to reply, been a bit busy. I did really think this through though. ^^
I am not sure what NCPC is but I guess it is not a real character. I'm sorry but I really don't like using none player characters in plots that decided a future of my characters. I avoid it because any reactions between them is sort of going no where. Npc's are sort of, avoided in my books.
If no one can be found then I can simply pull Snowfell out. Sometimes there is just no room or someone with the time or available character. It happens. ^^
:Edit, Rhea is a very nice mare but I can't get over the thought of her not having the means to make a full grown stallion with a full head of antlers, do anything. The ambush thing is a good idea but using her as bait would not work with Snowfell. He is again, looking for monsters and demons. He isn't going to be so foolish as to not wonder why a Uni is beckoning him to go anywhere.
Also I just very much dislike Npc's. I play with them and all but I avoid them in major plot decisions because the inability to lead anywhere with them or have real interactions with them.

XD Just because there's a bit of confusion, an NCPC is NOT an NPC, but just doesnt exist in the actual soquili world (either yet, being a quest character, or if there are restrictions that prevent them from being customed at the current time, unavailable to become more then that at the current time) BUT is an RPed character owned by someone in the Flock guild. For an example of an RP using an NCPC --Kamunyak is mine only, not belonging to anyone else, and RPed. She just doesnt exist in the Soquili shop, BUT she exists in the flock and can be mentioned in rps officially.I'm having issue's finding someone who's not currently in a capture plot and wishes to give other people a chance. edit: NCPC means "non-Canon Player character" -- Aka they don't currently exist at the soquili shop, but are Rp characters of people who want to join the flock RP, OR are questing for a flock character and wishes to be able to RP them while they wait to get them.

How did he end up being captured?: It was rather a story of curiosity killed the cat. He wanted to see the harpy herd for himself, even though Mitra warned him against it. Of course everything that could go wrong, did, so Mitra pretended to claim him in order to preserve some of his freedom.
Will you be escaping later? If yes, how?: Yes, Mitra will help him escape.
IC, he is a very family-oriented stallion so being away from them is tearing him up inside quite badly. I would prefer that he would escape so that he can have a "happy ending". But, if someone has a plot in mind that might put Talfryn to some use, I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Name: ropin and riden Soquili's name & cert: Dalkar Reason for joining: Dalkar is extremely sub-serviant to his female counterparts, and has a particular fascination with beauty. Despite his violent nature and barbaric way of life, he's been molded since birth by his mother to follow the orders of females. Orginally, it was meant for him to be her guard dog, a safety net in case things ever got out of her control. However, she is no longer in the picture due to some accident or another, Dalkar doesn't care to remember, but this 'guard dog/please the females' mentality has stuck with him all through his life. I believe he'll make a good addition to the flock, adding strong kalona blood to their lines while still following their way of life. That being said, I would advise that only experianced harpy attempt to 'tame' him into their ways, as I believe the transition might be a bit confusing for him at first; which, just may turn him violent at times. More than likely, he's going to need a firm claw to keep him under control at first. After that initial begining phase he'll fit in quite nicely with a female dominated society. How did he end up being captured?: He wandered into their lands unknowingly, or rather, uncarringly. This pure kalona is very simple minded, and much more akin to a wild beast than a soquili. Its likely that he didn't respect their boundry, having the mentality similar to a bear: 'I'm here, its mine'. It was seen as a challenge to capture him, much like the capture of a dangerous animal- a trophy. Will you be escaping later?
