╰★ Tsume still didn't remember. As Tsukiko was prompted to explain, who other but Shadow would walk in. She kept up her happy facade, giving Shadow a wave as Tsume explained that he had screamed. Watching Shadow's nervousness, Kameko stayed quiet, but simply observed him. His voice had cracked a little. Obviously he wasn't alright. He had things on his mind, things that probably would drive any man crazy. Sighing, Kameko was about to ask to speak to Shadow privately. She was stopped when Tsume began to blame herself for the outcome of this mission. She laughed, picking up Tsume's hand and patting her palm. "Don't blame it on yourself, Tsume! All three of us really messed up there, don't single yourself out." Kameko tried to encourage the Genin, but really in her mind, Kameko was angry. No, she was furious. Her face, however, showed no indication of this. Her guise was flawless. "Oi, Tsume. When you fully recover, I'll cook you a nice dinner." she then looked towards Shadow. "You're free to stop by for a meal too, if you'd like. I know you're not much of a people person though, so I won't be sad if you don't show up." she told him, giving a nonchalant waving motion with her hand.

-----мy eyes widened. What was she blaming herself for? She had done nothing to cause this. She couldn't feel guilty. This was all my doing. "No!" I blurted out before I could stop myself. "No. This... This is my fault. If I hadn't followed some stranger off the road, we would have made it to--" I cut off, realizing what I was saying wouldn't have been true. We wouldn't have made it to Sunagakure. I watched the attack there start, the massive swarm of flying UHV ships descend on the village. There was no way we could have waded through all of those enemies. This distraction had saved us being thrown into a battle. But I had almost died. -----It was better me than one of them. If either had died, I could never forgive myself. My left hand clenched into a fist at my side, the right hanging mostly uselessly on the other. "Please... Don't blame yourselves for any of this. It's not a guilt you should have to live with." I bit my lip and took a step back. I needed to get away from everyone so I could sort this out, curl up in a corner somewhere for a while and cry. I usually felt better afterward.Turning away, I made to leave, but paused at the doorway and spoke without looking back. "Once you're feeling better, let the Mizukage know you're alright." -----I headed out of the room without another word.
Tsume listened as both of her comrades told her it wasn't her fault and not to fell bad about it. She let a small smile appear briefly before it faded again as Shadow left. She then looked to Kameko. "Dinner, at your place? I... I've never been over at somebody else's house before. Are you sure it's alright?" She asked, hoping she'd say yes. She didn't seem like it, but she was always lonely and would enjoy the company.
Aria let go, plopping on the ground next to Okabe. Minowa and Naime formed the rest of the circle, as the young man stuck his hands into his pockets. Did Okabe have a gift of some sort, like a magician? Curling her legs to her side, she smoothed out the crinkles in her yukata and then put a hand down for support as she leaned. "Um, fluffy kitties are cute," she stated, even though she did not normally think of such things. Maybe the children had some ideas?

The children looked curiously at me, wondering why I'd ask such a thing probably, however, I would improvise. It was such a bland question, however with my talent it also led to something awesome! Especially if shown to children. Aria gave me an answer and I glanced at her as she sat beside me. "Okay, well I'm asking because..." I reached out of my pouches and and had closed hands and I held my hands up to Minowa and Nai-Nai.
"I have to the power to make living action figures." I said this with a playful bounce to my voice. Something that to myself sounded forced, and it was still, however it almost gave it a quirky tone. I opened my palms and in my two hands were two different clay figurines, both a different tint of clay from my explosive material. These ones were just made of earthen material. One was a small bunny that hopped out of my hands and ran in a circle in the middle of our small group and the other was a small hummingbird that flapped its wings and took off flying around the room. It zoomed around flying over to Rima and flew to the sides of the children, buzzing it's supersonic wings to pause in mid flight and do a loop, performing some sort of mini show for the children.
"I can make more!" I said wiping the remains of my tears away and smiled at Naime, I hoisted my hand out of my clay bag once more and in my palm was a tiny, palm sized tiger, it's legs were short and stubby, however it's facial expression was a mixture of ferocity and adorableness. It hopped out of Okabe's hand and like a primpy cat, with it's tail high in the air sauntered over to Naime and when it was in front of him let out a sound "Gaooow!"
The bunny hopped over to the side of the tiger, and sniffed it and the tiger responded with a sudden jump! I smiled at the two animals as the two began to chase each other in circles and I glanced to the children, wondering if I'd see anything in their eyes.

╰★ Kameko watched as Shadow blamed himself, eventually leaving the room in the end. Sighing, Kameko turned back to Tsume. "He'll be fine. We'll check up on him later after he's calmed down a bit." Kameko said, offering Tsume her hand with a smile. "Yep. Dinner's on me. After we go check in with the Mizukage, we can go back to my apartment and get a bite to eat. I make some mean steamed vegetables, or so I've been told." she said, her guise slipping slightly, but soon it popped back up. She looked out of the room door, but eventually went back to Tsume's side. "When you're up for it, I'll go with you to the Mizukage's office. Just let me know."
(I have no muse at the moment, sorry) Okabe seemed to have a gift or knack at creating living toys, and this made Aria's eyes light up. She had not ever seen such an ability, as Shadow-senpai's was puppetry and not the creation of items. The children seemed to be having fun, so Aria sat watching with curiosity in her eyes.

Tsume thought about it for a second then smled. She looked up at Kaneko and nodded. "Alright, lets go now. I'm tred of staying in the hospital." She said as she stood up out of her bed, her legs still a b it wobbly. "Um, m-mind helping me there?" She asked with a slight blush to her cheeks.

The children were loving the show! I smiled at them and at Naime, I knew this was the right thing to do. Everyone was ecstatic and the children clapped, so I decided to take it up another notch. I had a lot of skills to hunt, to seek out, to produce accuracy, and to carry weapons, however this never came to mind as a use of my skills. I placed my hands together in a handsign and the small tiger and bunny started floating and were then carried into the air where they were met by the humming bird. All of the small animals began to chase each other in the air in the formation of an atom, chasing each other but never catching one another. I watched the young faces, and even myself, I was smiling with a sense of joy that I had never felt before.

╰★ The Chuunin stood silent for a few moments, watching Tsume stand up out of her bed. It was actually somewhat funny to her to see Tsume so fragile like this. Chuckling and her breath, Kameko put one of Tsume's arms around her shoulder, and began to support the wobbly Genin. She kept her pace slow enough for Tsume to keep up as she escorted her out of the hospital and to the Mizukage's office. [Exit Kameko]
Walking down the hall, a clone left in his office, Sypher easily found the War Orphans day care room. He knew the way but the sound of laughter made it easier for him to open the door this time. Seeing Okabe and Aria interacting with the children, Rima was asleep again, Sypher leaned against the door to just watch. Minowa looked up from his play after a few minutes and spotted his father "Daddy!" he dropped everything and sprinted for Sypher who easily scooped him up before walking further into the nursery "I see everything is going well."

Okabe seemed to be experiencing something new, so Aria sat back to watch the show. Bunnies, tigers, and humming birds, oh my! With such skill, was the young man an entertainer, a performer of the arts? "You have such great skill," Aria commented, just before the Mizukage-sama entered. Rima-sensei was asleep once more, in a state of such tiredness that the calming play time sent her off to snooze land. "Yes, Sypher-sama. Okabe-san really has a knack for entertainment."

With the comment from Aria, he couldn't help but look at the animals and smile. "I never thought to use my skills like this... I guess I'm good at something else, other than my past job." He smile and the animals began to lower as the doors opened. Okabe glanced over as Minowa ran to his fathers side. It was Sypher, The small animals took refuge at the feet of Okabe, and as a child reached for the small tiger, it made the small roar again "Gaow!" it skittered up Okabes leg and went up his body in twists and finally perched onto his shoulder. The Hummingbird flew over to the bedsides of the children that could not get up and move around. ringing what had caused such laughter to them, not letting them be left out. The bunny was caught by the children and was being chased around the room as the children that could chase were on it's tail the whole way!
"Hey Sypher, you definitely gave me a job I didn't expect." Okabe said this with a wide smile, his teeth were visible in his joy and it seemed to natural, like maybe Okabe didn't even recognize how much fun he was having with the kids. Okabe looked over to Aria and bowed to her slightly in her compliment "Thank you Aria-san" He looked around and made eye contact with Naime again smiled.

Smiling dryly, Sypher gave a little shrug "That was the point, Okabe." he gave Aria a dip of his head, making Minowa giggle when a stray hair tickled his nose "I intended to spend more time with you both but I'm afraid we have visitors from Suna that I need to deal with." Minowa looked at his father gravely, with that same level and older expression that he'd given Okabe when he'd first met him. Sypher didn't see it though and he let Minowa slide down to stand beside him "Thankk you for your work, Aria." he said, giving her a true bow this time "I'm afraid you'll need to entertain yourself for a while, Okabe. You can stay here or go explore the village some more. You have free range of the village now..." he'd wait for either of them to respond.

Aw, Minowa pouting was so cute! Sadly, Sypher-sama's visit was short on time, but Minowa would likely see him again soon. The little tyke was the prince of the village, even if he did not know it. Yet, the Mizukage thanked Aria; Nobody had ever thanked her for doing her job for what it was, and that spoke to his character. She was speechless at the gratitude as she stood, holding a hand out to help Okabe-san stand. "..." With the children still running amok with the created toys, they should be entertained for hours, if he let them stay. "You are welcome, Sypher-sama," Aria dipped her head, lowering her gaze to the floor. "He is a natural. Okabe-san, what do you want to do now?"
