Satoshi looked over the shoulder of the one that came to greet him to see the gates open at the snap of the fingers. That's a neat trick. Sure to impress anyone that came to visit. Satoshi felt that the village was tense. He remembered being able to simply speak to one of two guards and being let in. Suddenly, with the display of two fingers, two of the village's Onin appeared to form up with who now seemed to be their leader. What the shinobi said next only served to confirm his deductions. Securit had been tightened and the village placed under an alert. Anyone would be offended to be restricted to an escort, considering that the two villages held a treaty that included free travel between the two. Remembering what the Mizukage had said, perhaps the Raikage had also decided to neutralize the treaty and revise it. Satoshi was concerned about what the shinobi spoke about. Although Satoshi was no longer Mizukage, he still deeply desired to keep relations between the two villages strong and if that meant aiding their ally, Satoshi would be very eager. The shinobi then turned his attention to the shinobi that had been sitting atop the gates, watching them. Satoshi looked up to see a kunoichi, named Dai. The sight of the kunoichi stunned Satoshi. It was not the fact that she had been there all along, but simply her appearance had a distinct effect on Sato that not everyone could have. He decided to look away and examine the organization of the village. Honestly, Satoshi was impressed by the close watch of the Onin and would be no less than proud to have them in his village himself. Of course, Kirigakure had cameras and several sensors that removed the necessity of an ANBU presence. This allowed for an underestimation by the enemy and a surprise tactic for the ANBU that kept watch through monitors. "Who would be so bold to irritate such a well organized village?" Satoshi asked, examining the attire of the Onin that stood before him, especially their masks. He referred to the 'recent events' that the shinobi spoke about.

As the man spoke to Kein, Dai wavered in her thoughts if she she bare her face or wear her mask. She chose not too. The man had already seen her face. Dai watched quietly as Kein addressed Satoshi-san. She breathed with ease and sat up straight as Kein addressed her. Dai nodded "Understood." With that said she vanished in a cloud of mist. She appeared seconds later to Kein's left. She swept a piece of her bangs out of her face. She looked to Kein. "Standard escorting, sir?" She asked softly. Addressing him as her commander over as a close friend to her. Dai was still in training but none the less Kein's personal Apprentice. She looked over her shoulder to the Kiri shinobi as he asked about what brought on such tight security. The face of her mask was all he would see and a little of her Hazel-green spec eyes. She turned her attention back to the front. She wasn't going to speak unless spoken too. Even though she knew the exact reason into why the village was under such a harsh Security watch.

Kein nodded to Dai and said," Indeed standard procedure." Then he looked over his shoulder at Satoshi as he spoke," I do apologize for this. Your village has always been kind to ours and the favor returned. As for the recent events well. Now that it has been delt with I supose there is no harm in telling you. The other day an attempt was made on the Raikage's life by a fellow Jounin and a close personal friend of mine..." Kein's arm shook as he clenched his fist at his side. Even the though of Sypher enraged him. "..... Dai here took care of him intercepted him before he could harm Kinpaku. " Kein wanted nothing more than to be the one who killed Sypher but what was done was done and he had to let that go.

Satoshi nodded as he listened to the shinobi explain what had happened. It had been recent and the impact of the incident was apparent on his being. Now at his side was Dai, the young kunoichi that had been sitting atop the gate. He glanced at her for a moment, noticing that she now had a mask on. Satoshi had never seen a female ANBU before so his interest was purely natural. She had been the one to deal with the Raikage's assailant which made her an important part of the investigation. A ring on her finger marked her as engaged with another. A slight curiosity arose but was overwhelmed by the topic at hand. "I see." Sato said, nodding in acknowledgement. "I assume this assassin was dispatched at your discretion?" He asked, intrigued and at the same time concerned at the fact that it had been someone on the inside and a personal friend of theirs.

Dai slipped her mask off and ruffed her bangs before tying her mask to her hip. ...What is it to you?... She thought at Satoshi asked if Sypher had been dispatched at her discretion. She sighed and took in a deep breathe, "I prefer not to speak of my assassin mission." She turned to Satoshi and looked at him. Her hazel-green spec eyes had some edge in them. But no hostility. "Please respect that, Hatake-san." She shot a dirty look at the two Oinin that covered the rare, as they snickered. They straightened up once they saw the death glare they were getting and kept quiet. She turned back facing front and balled her fists at her side. Dai was getting angry. So what she killed a Jounin, even though it was Sypher. She was doing her duty as a Shinobi; serve and protect the Raikage and the village. Couldn't people just stop talking about it already.

Satoshi watched as Dai removed her mask and tied it to her hip. It was surprising to Satoshi to see a member of the ANBU remove their mask. It pleased him to see the trust they ad with each other and it reassured him that the Cloud-nin were to be trusted. It seemed that Sato's question was inappropriate and had offended Dai. Realizing this, Sato bowed and said. "Of course. Please, forgive my question." The assailant had been a close friend of theirs and the deception had left them sore. Satoshi didn't know what it was like to be betrayed by someone so close but that was most likely due to the lack of people that became that important.

Dai looked over her shoulder to see the visiting shinobi bowing in a kind forgiveness. She closed her eyes and sighed. "It's alright. How could you have known the assailant was close to the other Oinin like myself." She paused for a moment. "I trusted him. He was my first teacher before I joined Kein's squad to become a hunter. I was only doing what I was trained to do." She spoke softly. "It's just still a touchy subject with me. I, personally, wish I hadn't of done it. There were plenty that wish they had. Because of that mission I was able to become a Chuunin. So, in odd ways, I'm happy and upset into how I got my rank up." She turned to Satoshi and bowed. "So at any cost...I apologize for my...snapping. You are a visitor into our village. I should watch my mouth a little better." She rose and smiled at Satoshi. She turned to Kein and smiled at her sensei.

Satoshi nodded as Dai forgave him. He appreciated her giving him insight into the matter. Her rank came into mention and it seemed that she was a Chunnin. What an honor it must be to be party of the ANBU force at Chunnin. She must be quite skilled indeed. Sato then felt guilty as Dai apologized to him. He smiled and shook his head. "Please, it held no consequence." Satoshi then looked between Dai and who appeared to be her leader. "If all is well, I'd like like to enter the village." Satoshi asked politely, wondering if Dai connection to her leader was more than professional.

Kein nodded and said," Yes lets get a move on. Dai escort this man to the Raikage's office. Once your done there meet me at the dojo we have training to get back to. " With that he disintegrated into a ball of fire. Dai had her orders and Kein could trust her to complete them. After all Dai was like his daughter.

Dai tilted her head to the side and bowed it softly to Kein as he gave her orders. "Understood, sir." She took a few steps knowing how much the man liked vanishing within a burst of flame. She rose her head and smiled. ...things haven't changed... She whistled and both masked onin straighten up as if she was the Onin Leader. Dai looked at another onin that stood at the gate. "Please take left flank." She called out to the being. She was replacing Kein's post. The onin walked from the gate to Satoshi's left side. She turned and smiled at Satoshi. Dai held her hand out towards the gates. "This way, Hatake-san." She waited until he and the other onin were to her side. Dai and the fellow onin moved as one. walking behind and side-by-side with Satoshi. Dai kept her eyes on the path ahead of her. As the past the post Dai nodded to the onin at post. The ground trembled as the gates closed behind the unit and Satoshi. Dai kept her professional at the most highest as she was trusted with a Mist ninja. Her nerve ran wild though.

Satoshi nodded with a smile that returned Dai's pleasant attitude. He saw the ANBU take their positions around him as Dai took point. The sudden flanking of the ANBU made Sato's muscles twitch even though he knew that he was in a safe place. As Dai began to move forward, Satoshi began to follow. Through the gates and into the village, Satoshi would speak to the Raikage about everything and hopefully get the information he needed.

Sukai returned to Kumogakure. The men at the gates smiled at the timid and apparently popular medical ninja of the Cloud. She was a bit tired from the trip to the sage lands. Even though she was unsuccessful this time she'd wait til she was stronger to try again. Next time she knew she would get it. . . or eventually. Either way if their was still hope for her to become a sage she wasn't going to give up. It was nice to see all the normal sightings of Kumogakure though. I wonder if Shiro missed me. "Hmmm, were is he? . . He's probably off training in the dojo with the others . . . silly me."

Demetri was just walking around the front gate with some poky in his hand. And he was reading that orange book he always had with him. He looked up to see a familiar face."Sukai." He said to the person infront of him."How was your travels to the sage lands?"he asked while taking a bite of his delicoius poky. At the moment if you saw his eyes they were moving from the orange book in his hands to sukai as if he was comparing something to her inside the book.

Sukai looked at Demetri and smiled taking the pocky out of his hand nibbling on the other side he didn't touch before giving it back. "Hey, thanks for the bite." Giggling softly she continued. "It was good. The boss summon was a bit off, I guess I just had bad timing. I'm going to give him about a day or so to get better before I ask again for a contract. I'll probably have better luck when he's in a better mood and I'm stronger." She replied sighing ever-so softly shrugging some.
