Robby shrugged at the girl's words, deciding that it was her business, not his problem at all. If she was hiding from nobody, she could hide from nobody as long as he got him some good food. And, by the looks of the menu, he would at that.
The obese lad had already decided on what he was going to get, but left the menu open in case he forgot or something. Still, he wasn't holding it up, like the girl. She was either very into choosing stuff, or it was none of his business.
"Just pick somethin'."

Robby had no idea. See, Genie did have the best job in the world. A waitress at the Striaton gym with Unova's biggest hotties. People would kill for this job. One girl did, actually.
About a year ago it must've been, a new hire named Emily. She put another girl's face in the fryer because she didn't want competition for Chili. Courts said it was tragic, Emily called it an improvement.
But that was all in the past now. Genie hummed happily as she skipped merrily over to Henrietta and Robby's table.
"Can I start you two off with a drink?" she asked with a happy smile plastered on her face.
"H-h-hum, y-yes," Henrietta said and she looked at the waitress and then back to her menu. She'd let Robby order first.

Just what was Baku's newest plan? The Wellspring Cave; and the victims? Bats. Screeching, crying, echolocation-having Woobats. The cave was relatively quiet now; water could be heard dripping and running, and the occasional Pokemon could be heard, but soon the the cave would undoubtedly erupt in screeches of the cave's inhabitants. The plan was simple enough. Woobat were part psychic and weak to Kali's ghost attacks. If they were to attack, they would fall victim. Maybe the Munna was on their side after all.
And with that the battle soon begun. It wasn't hard to find an agro Woobat, especially in this confined setting, on after they flocked. They were stronger than Avan and Munna had predicted. With attacks like Gust, Assurance, and Heart Stamp they proved to be a challenge. Avan did what he could to command the Yamask in battle and found it easier when the opponents proved to be more bark than bite. One after another they were picked off; even Baku had his fair share of defeats, but those ended when he got one asleep and he went to feed.
The noise and confusion were all enough to stir the boss; a Swoobat. A gust cleared out it's lackeys and told them to leave. Then another gust attack. This attack was then countered with Kali's own Ominous Wind. The two wind attack collided and a great wind rushed through where they fought. The Swoobat attacked with Confusion and Kali reeled back. Avan knew hiding behind Haze wouldn't work so he commanded a Night Shade attack. Launched, it flew towards it's target but was dodged by the nimble, sky-borne enemy. Then one after another the Night Shades were sent flying toward Swoobat in hopes that one would hit. Eventually one did, catching the enemy's wing; and sent it crashing to the ground. "Now use Ominous Wind!" The Yamask executed another wind attack sending the opponent back, into a boulder. Then the effect they had been waiting for. Kali glowed softly as all her stats were raised a level.
The Swoobat let out a cry, kicked off a rock, and swiftly flew at the Ghost Pokemon, it's nose glowing. The Heart Stamp attack hit home on the ghost pokemon. "Astonish!" Kali shouted and smacked the Swoobat away. Swoobat grinned, just what it wanted. It swung it's tail and used Assurance. The super effective, dark attack hit the ghost Pokemon with it's added effected of doubling in power if it was hit. Kali 'stumbled' back. Avan was not aware that the Swoobat's ability was "unaware" and allowed it to ignore the stat changes Kali had gained.
The Ghost Pokemon wavered where she stood and looked to be done for. Was she? No. It was like before with the Litwick. Her eyes glowed and a black mist started to flow from he hands. The mist formed a sphere and opened to reveal a hideous eye. The Swoobat was starteled by it's appearance and was taken by surprise when the eye released it's waves of energy. The waves crashed one after the other into the bat pokemon. The battle had been decided. The eye disappeared and the swoobat had been defeated. Kali wavered once again and collapsed.
Avan rushed over and picked her up. What was that move she used? He wondered. It wasn't in the Pokedex when he view her stats? How was she able to use it? What a strange phenomenon. Avan returned kali to her ball and bent over the Swoobat. He woke it and offered up a Hyper Potion in a pink spray bottle. Healing it, the bat flew away.
Baku, who was getting his fill on the dreams of the Woobat he put to sleep, returned to Avan's side with a satisfied look adorning his face.
"Full?" The boy asked. Baku nodded in approval. "Good. We're off to heal Kali."
*
"You know Baku..." Avan started. The Munna looked at him quizzically. "Training is so troublesome." Baku rolled his eyes, that was something he should have expected. "I know it's not supposed to be easy...but all these wild Pokemon are all so unpredictable."
[What you expect? All pokemon to say what they do before?] Munna scolded.
Avan giggled. "It'd be nice." He swiped his hand across his face to remove his bangs. Yes...it would be easier if I knew what was in store for us. Avan thought for a moment. I don't think Kali would mind either. We'll see. "Oh," He poked Munna's tummy while he floated. "Your English is getting better."
[Well you won't shut up.]
Avan frowned. "Just take the compliment." The Baku huffed and floated in front of Avan.
He'll never go for it. Oh well...we'll just have to provoke him. The boy smiled and rolled Kali's ball in his hand.
Baku had picked up his pace. [Hurry to Pokemon Center fool!]
"Mmm" Avan stopped and stuck his tongue out. He sarcastically sighed, "Coming!"

[sorry bout' not posting for so long, kinda got caught up with School, work and my Xbox..]
[Location: Accumula town ]
"ahhh! time to head out!" the young boy exclaimed with a yawn and a stretch as he strode from the pokemon center, His aron, Iron Hide in tow. "First stop, Striaton City." and with that he was off at a sprint, Iron Hide at his heels. the Duo made a quick stop and the market to pick up some supplies for the road ahead of them, then through the building leading them to the forest scenery of Route 2. "Right, time to try these new blades out" he murmured to him self as he sprinted a couple of steps then jumped to the air and with a click of his heels a pair of in line skates appeared on each of his feet from the souls of his shoes. As he landed iron Hide jumped to his shoulder, "Ron Ron! Arrrrron!!" he exclaimed and off they were, skating along the road at a much faster pace.
[Location: Striaton City]
It took them only a half hour to reach Striaton City, the home of Chili, Cres & cilan, the trio Gym leaders of Striaton City. Takamaru clicked his heels once more to the recoil the in line blades of his shoes. Aron hopped down from his perch on Takamaru's Shoulder and walked beside him as they Reached the Gym. Letting a low whistle from his lips Takamaru gazed at the impressive oak doors of the gym, but not waisting any time he gave a three quick raps on the doors with his knuckle. it took only a moment for a red headed waitress to open the door and lead Takamaru inside, "are you hear for a meal or to challenge the gym leader?" she asked in a polite tone. "Hmm, we could go for a bit to eat, huh Iron Hide?" "Aron Ron ron" Iron hide nodded in agreement. "Then let me show you to your table." she said and led them to a well laid table with a menu in the center. "and do you know what you would like or would you like a moment to look over the menu, were having a special today on page 4 if your interested" she finished with a wide smile. "Ill take a second look over it, but i would like to order three lunch sized dishes of pokemon food, one steel, one Bug and the last ground all with extra iron shavings please" "very well sir." she said with a small bow and left. Takamaru brought out two more pokeballs and released Lancer and Spike from there pokeballs. all three of his pokemon took up conversation as they awaited there food where as Takamaru began too look over the menu.
[I Plan on Taking on one of the Striaton City gym Leaders if that is ok. would the person who is RP'ing as the gym leader please let me know if i can partake in a battle? ]

{sorry took a while for me to respond I kind of got busy}
Kijin looks at him and crosses his arms,"Oh really well shouldn't the police have been involved with that incident in the alleyway?" He says with a little upset attitude considering how he seemed to be all for investigating that little problem that would have been handled by the police. He grumbles,"Fine i'm not going to have this discussion with you but I would make one suggestion when talking to the victim about what happened ask about her hospital stay." He says to him as he seems to leave the building in a huff completely ignoring the customers in the gym. Once he was outside he would grumble a little looking at the gym with a little bit of scorn on his face as he heads to leave the city, at the moment not caring if that gym leader called the cops or not.
Kijin would grumble a bit more as he soon moves to the park that rested on the city limits of Striaton City, he would let out a soft sigh as he moves to one of the benches near by. He had to stop for a minute to think maybe it wasn't so much that he was mad at the gym leader for suddenly wanting to step to the side to let the authorities take over as it was he let his pokemon get hurt and couldn't do one of the few tasks a gym leader should do. Be a judge and protect the trainer and pokemon, hell he couldn't even do that part right.

And so, the time for food had begun. "Start you off with drinks" was a sign that they weren't ready to let them order. He suspected it had something to do with a server not wanting to carry too much at once. He also didn't really care.
"Yeah. I want this," the fat finger came down to touch a picture of t-bone steak, "this," it came again to hit a cheeseburger order, "and this," this time ice cream was tapped. "I'd like natural-cut fries with the burger, extra salt. Onion rings with the steak instead of whatever's with it. And bring chocolate, strawberry, and mint ice cream, two scoops each, mashed together in a bowl. Also, a diet coke. Wait, no, a normal coke. I hear diet can be bad for you."

Genie was astounded and it showed on her face, in her wide eyes that blinked thrice in surprise. However, she got everything down and maintained her smile. Then she looked to Henrietta. "And what about you?" she asked.
Henrietta, too, was astounded. So much so that she didn't see Kijin leave. She slowly lowered her menu and placed it on the table and said, "i-is water free?"
"Nope!" Genie said cheerfully.
"H-hum.."
Could she even pay for all of that?
"I-i'm fine...
"Okay!" Genie said and she collected the menus, repeated the order to make sure it was correct and once she that was all settled she dashed off.

"Thanks a ton,-" wait, what was her name?- "lillipup girl." Robby said as the waitress left. "I ran out of money, so I've been having to rely on the pokemon center food. It's not as good as I'd like, and the porions are so small." Should he ask her what her name is? Maybe, but if he did and she'd actually already introduced herself this would be awkward or something. "Really, thanks."

Henrietta then proceeded to spend the rest of the time silently staring at the table until the food arrived.
And then the food arrived.

Robby nodded at the introduction, but didn't press. They probably had covered this, and she was reminding him. She knew his name, he knew hers, no problems could happen whatsoever. Unless he was wrong, but that didn't seem likely.
And then the food arrived.
Despite what people might have thought about him, the obese lad had incredible table manners. Fork and knife were used to eat the steak, and the burger was handled with such care that almost no crumbs fell, and when they did, they hit the plate. No one needed to know that he was just making sure nothing got away from him. Even the ice cream didn't manage to be eaten all that messily, as though intense practice went into him eating like this quickly. One might think this was even the most natural method for him...
And then it was all gone, and the obese lad was full, not even noticing that the other trainer hadn't eaten. To summarize exactly how he felt, the lad burped, and turned gave a sigh.

It would've been rude to ask for a bite, right? Even though she was somehow going to pay for it all. So, she didn't.
Two days without food...
Maybe she could win a battle and earn some money? No, it was too late for that. Could she run?
"Hello!" Genie said.
Nope.
"All done?" she asked.
"Y-yes," Henrietta said.
"And will you be paying for this?" Genie asked as she turned to Robby.
"I-i will.." Somehow.
"O-oh? Let me see your trainer card then, please," she said.
Of course, money was all electronically handled if you were smart. Normal people carried other cards, trainers carried trainer cards. Convenient.
Genie left and returned soon after saying, "I'm sorry, you don't seem to have enough."
Henrietta had prepared for this. So, she said, "h-how much do I need?"
"Twenty-four hundred and twenty five poke dollars," Genie said.
((Artemis said that Pokemoney was similar to Yen, or rather, she said it seemed similar, so I converted the dollar equivalent(knowledge gained from my many lunch breaks to Denny's) to yen, =D))
If Henrietta were fifty years older she'd have the luxury of a heart attack, instead she simply lowered her head in defeat.
Why couldn't you be forced to pay BEFORE eating?
"And do you have anything that could help?" Genie asked as she turned to Robby.
