"Exactly. No one involved knew the risks, thus I am blameless." Aaron reasoned as he slowed to a stop once they were inside. He leaned over, hands on his knees as he caught his breath. "Hopefully the psycho trees can't bust in here. Then we're really screwed."

Riley leaned against a wall, panting heavily. "Why were you guys here in the first place?"

Crystal leaned against a support bean as she caught her breath too. She ignored Riley's question because of her own reason for being here in the first place. "I'm guessing shutting off whatever switch you pulled won't work...Can't we just pull the plug on it or something?" she asked.

"Curiosity." The twins answered. "Besides, I doubt we'd be able to reach the plug, assuming there is one." Virgil said and sat and leaned against the wall. Dante simply stood and stared at Riley's chest like an idiot.

Riley stood up, brushing her hair out of her face,"And this switch. What did it turn on? Because the last time I checked, switches don't turn on trees." She looked at Aaron for an explanation, since he was the one who everyone said turned whatever it was on.

Aaron just shrugged. "We just heard noises like something turning on, next thing we know that song about angry trees has become reality."

((Such a song exists, btw, and I have it on Rock Band. XD ))

Nero ran into the factory and leaned against a wall opposite the others. He glanced around at the others as they conversed before speaking up. "Wait instead of saying it will or wont why not just go test it?"

The fire had given the group and chance to escape, but now flaming and nonflaming branches attacked everyone and everything at Kadick.

Riley looked at Nero then at everyone else,"Thats actually a good idea. I mean, why not just turn the switch and then check to see if it stops the tres or not.

"We tried flipping the switch earlier, nothing happened, I don't think flipping the switch again will fix our shrubbery problems." Virgil said, wondering what they could do about it, then he had a thought. "You." Virgil started, pointing at Crystal. "What was in that room we found you in earlier today?" He queried.

"I don't know what they were. It was some kind of cylinder things...Kinda like a coffin I guess." Crystal said, trying her best to describe the technology she saw in that room.

"Then perhaps the solution to our problem lies in that room instead of that room with the switch. Perhaps if we go to those cylinder things, we can stop those trees. Sound good?" Virgil asked simply, figuring it was better than flipping a broken switch.

"I guess...but I didn't see any kind of control panel or anything in that room. Just those weird things and a whole bunch of wires." Crystal said as she started heading over to the elevator.

"I'd like to note that those were basement floors two and three. There was also a basement one." Aaron pointed out. "Maybe there'd be something there to clue us in?" he suggested.
