Another bee was down. But then, a voice caught her attention. Was that...? Olivia turned her eyes wide when she realized.

Andrew was cheering her on.


There was a returned vigor, even more now. Her friends were rooting for her to complete this task and by Jack, she was going to! With a little bit of a butt wiggle, she leapt towards the hive once more.

Ah there she went! Olivia was doing quite well at marching down the bath to badassery there. Just a few happy barks and kind words and she was chugging away at beating this mess of honey, good, and stingers down. Or so he thought anyway.

Then she was suddenly seeming to look a bit down and he frowned before wagging his tail a bit, the happy jangles breaking through the din. "No, no keep going you can do i-" He paused, blinking a it before squinting. Was that HIS voice? Was that his voice? WHAT TURNING INTO A FOXFIRE DONE TO HIM? Nope. Back to barking encouragement. No. More. Talking.

Strict new rule.

No, she had to keep it up, she had to keep going and fight the bees and the hive because her friends were waiting for her and cheering her on (even if they sounded really cute and funny).

Yes hive, she was going to take you down.

And Maple really just wanted to give up, because it was just so in her nature. She was hurt, the bees were annoying and everyone else was already pretty much done anyway. Why keep going.

The grade was the only reason left. And AJ probably would want her to.

Maple held in a sob and just trudged towards the hive. Or not.

The bees were going down. So many of the little army destroyed and slaughtered for plaguing her friends during this class. They were getting a taste of their own medicine. Well, kind of. She wasn't stinging them. Just jumping on them and squishing them.

And eating a few of them.

Her little body shot into the air, batting at a few of them when she came crashing down upon apart of the hive. Destroying a chunk of it in her conquest of vanquishing this foe (Oh, they were supposed to raid it too, weren't they, well that was being done now too now that she was there).

Oh yeah, she had mastered the levels of badassery - and took some names, even though bees did not have names. (Or did they). Like everyone else.


She felt awesome. (Inside, she totally felt like this) Even though it took her just about forever to do it.

Darren had for the most part, decided that discretion was the better part of badassery - and had held off attacking the hive until it seemed there was no other choice.

Snuffling a bit, he jumped off his desk and edged closer to a hive - hoping he could at least score some honey. He noticed his sister and the frost demon boil's competition - he of course, knew Rosy would win - Rosy always won.

Rosy was the best!

But he had his own task to focus on - he could cheer his sister on later...

... Now back to that beehive...

As he charged the hive, he got nothing but stung multiple times, but wasn't able to secure any honey, moving back, he licked at the stings while he debated his new plan of action - he actually didn't mind the stings - you know, cause he was badass.

Okay, new plan, maybe just edging in on the hives wasn't the best plan. So instead, he just hauled off and charged it, barking madly at the bees.

Well the barking hadn't done anything really helpful or gotten him any honey - but he sure did feel badass!

Yeah he was a total Badass!

Continuing his attack - barking loudly at the hive - he once more pressed on toward the honey.

Okay, maybe the stings hurt more after awhile. Scooting back he licked his wounds again.

Darren growled, okay - time to get serious - they needed this honey right? Otherwise why would they be forcing them to collect it.

Once again he edged toward the hive - maybe charging head first wasn't the best plan after all. Edging in definitely wasn't either - as again he got stung, but maybe the pain from before had been a fluke, because he really didn't care.

What was that look? How did Olivia’s eyes get that big or was it just the firefox form? Were those rainbows? And that smile.

He watched as she got herself ready and finally took down those bees, taking a good chunk out of their hive. He got up and yipped tail wagging. “Good job Olivia.” She had had about as much success as he had.

Was that Maple down there? “Maple. You can do it too!” he assumed those horns were hers. He had seen the ghoul earlier. Now that he was well out of harms way, and of course the most badassed firefox in the room, he didn’t mind taking the leisure of cheering them on. Build good relations. Something like that.

Darren once again charged the hive, growling as he attempted to secure at least some honey for the teacher. He had seen Rosy's haul, and he wanted to prove - if at least to his sister - that he was capable of being useful!

No luck this time!

Darren was beginning to think that this was all an elaborate joke at their expense. How were they supposed to secure honey against all these bees? His sister had done well sure - but he'd yet to even touch a bit of the honey yet!

Well - at least he felt like a badass!

Finally he was able to secure some of the honey, even if he got stung to all heck.

Pleased with her efforts, and with dead bits of bee stuck in her fluffy white fur, Olivia happily trotted to where the others were watching and waiting.

With a little bit of a wiggle, she got herself on the desks as well and situated herself as well as she could between them in the confides of comfort. At least in this body, fire didn't seem ... so bad, but the ghoul still had the temperament of an undead so fire was not an easy thing to go near. She gave Andrew a wide smile. He had helped her along just like everyone else, and the ghoul so hoped this meant they could try to be friend again.

And then one happy smile to Molan. He had sounded funny, but she had liked the sounds he had made. And even one to Mia, who looked even as full as she did.

"Eating all that was nasty," she said out of the blue once she was settled. Sitting down just seemed to remind her of how much she had eaten and she made strange faces as if trying to get the taste off her tongue, no it was more like just trying to get the sensation away.

Maple was startled once again when she heard her name being called out. It wasn't a voice she had expected to hear, so used to hearing AJ's now. But it was... Andrew. Who usually didn't say such kind words to her, or only did in a weird round about way.

The little fluffy witch turned in surprise, pausing in the beating of her head against the hive to stare at the firey little foxfire. Huh.

And he was done too. As was AJ, all sitting on the desk and watching. QQ

Though plagued with her usual self loathing of how long this was taking her, she could at least be somewhat happy that another creature believed in her. She began munching on the honey, like she was eating her feelings. Both happy and sad ones.
