emotion_jawdrop Didnt like 7?! How can you not like 7? What was wrong with 7? It's my favorite one, followed up with 9 I think so far in the series. 8...the characters were boring and annoying, the story lacking, and some of the missions tedious. It's sad when the side characters are more likable than the main. Wish coulda had Laguna and co as party instead. Wasn't fond of the guardian force system and spell draws either. Moombas were awesome things though.

Yes, digimon > pokemon. Digimon card battle for the playstation was awesome, digimon world...wasn't bad, didn't make it far in it. ( playstation ) Iiked the OVA / movies they did with the original group recently. Not seen the eps of digimon yet, I have ep 1 downloaded, and not found 2 or 3. Season 1 was the best in my opinion. Season 2, OK. But, after that they got weird.

Kirby yes. I liked it on the NES. Mario, same, liked it for the NES. But as for anything recent....nothing comes to mind that I have to have for that system. If I want to play kirby or mario, I'll go get my NES.
Smash brothers, while it looks awesome, never played it, never had a platform to play it on. Don't think it was out for the Wii, was it? Splatoon never looked interesting, animal crossing, also a no from me. And cooking mama, not sure what that is.

Crockpot sees use with roasts. That I can do, toss meat in, add a little water, let the thing cook. blaugh Bread and cakes? Uh...heh. Not gonna try and get that creative. LAST time I tried to get 'creative' and cook french toast...I warped the griddle, set off the smoke alarm, the outside edges of it were burnt, the middle was still soggy as crap. Nah. Microwave french toast sticks for life now. 'Creative' is more of a pain than it is worth.

Understandable, and at that age, cant really force them to learn. Sad thing is, think my grandmother is better with smart phones than I am. Give me a computer, I'm all over it, smart phones...eh...rather have my computer.

... you're right I was thinking of final fantasy 8 x.X I liked 7 just fine. I felt like 8 was hard to play all the way through and hold my attention.

Agreed I enjoyed the digimon card game and the digimon games that came to pc that I have played I felt like the characters were better and their back stories were more interesting than pokemon I think I was okay with digimon till season 4 then I kinda dropped it I am watching the new season just to see if it holds up to the original. To be honest most people did not like season 2 I like 4 mainly because my favorite digimon zephyrmon is in it lol...

Nintendo isn't horrible with exclusives it has a cult fan base that only likes specific types of games which is fine I am more happy now that they are branching out with the switch and allowing 3rd party game makers to put w/e on their console like Senran Kagura which is literally hentai ninjas lol.. I tend to like cooking games, Visual novels, simulators ( like animal crossing or slime rancher), and the occasional fighting or fantasy game like monster hunter or soul caliber... cooking mama is more or less a cooking simulation game.

brain dead is pretty funny it shouldn't be too hard to find it might even be on youtube lol...

It is tiring the hike to the waterfall is a little over 4 miles there and then 4 miles back x.X I almost die every time I go which my asthma turning my face blood red I almost look like a tomato lol if I didn't enjoy botany, geology, and aquatic biology I would never hike I am more interested in aquatic biology and geology when out hiking than the destination or other things though...

yeah they were working on a larp costume and wanted to be riding a horse it was one of the silliest things I have ever saw watching some one swing around a foam sword with the horses head shaking violently lol

I find crock pots to be user friendly in most cases... as for cakes and breads once you have the basics down it is easy, but finding out the best ratio of ingredients is extremely time consuming it is a long process I found a good ratio for making cornbread and I refuse to alter it because if I substitute one item it completely changes the taste and consistency of the bread...

Ironically she would never use a smart phone or youtube I am surprised she picked up on how to use the mp3 player so fast. I am honestly better with smart phones, but that is because I can mess with a phone and figure things out fairly easily where as if I mess with a pc too much I can make it reset or blue screen easily x.X my husband builds pc's regularly on commission and just as a hobby which I thought was awesome when we first met! He explained it to be more or less adult legos but seriously I can not understand how when you put boards and circuits together it can create such an elaborate piece of machinery computers to me are as complicated as cars are... I could never take one apart figure out how it works and put it back together without doing something wrong lol I understand basic functions of cars and computers, but I could not begin to try and comprehend the inner workings of a graphics card or a cpu and how thermal paste can keep a cpu cool enough to not over heat x.X

hopefully she is alright I know japan got hit hard by covid but they are slowly recovering it helps that they are so health conscious even before the pandemic happened. They are working hard to not depend on china for resources(same for US and Europe) since during the pandemic people realized a lot of important things are only being manufactured in china...

hopefully the anime will get back to its normal broadcast schedule I use Anime list too keep up to date on what is coming out the next season I am really looking forward to the demon slayer movie this fall...

yeah a lot of trailers are like that, but hopefully the writers realize that and make a cohesive and enjoyable story...

Season 3 of digimon is where I stopped watching it. It got a little too out there with it.
Season 1 and 2 were my favorites, never watched 4.

I am with you, I am in awe of all the parts and how it all comes together. When it comes to the mechanics of a computer as far as building one goes, never tried to from scratch. I have plenty of older computers around that I work with them. Some as old as a Vic 20 and C= 64. emotion_yatta
But diagnosing them and doing IT work with them and helping people fix them, or creatively break windows if need be, that I can do.

Ogremon is a great character! my favorite is zephyrmon, close second is Cho-Hakkaimon, but I also really like Ranamon, Ceresmon medium, Ofanimon, LadyDevimon, Palmon and it's evolutions, Tentomon and its evolutions, and cherubimon (good and evil) just to name a few x.X

thanks I use it for contests it was the easiest digimon to make into an avi honestly I would like to try and make more when I get the free time lol

I do like some of the older Nintendo games, but I certainly can't find anything to complain about with the newer games I have bought other than maybe optimize certain ones better lol

Yeah it is a pain to walk, but it has nice scenery which is always a bonus, I never went to school for it I kinda prefer to teach myself. I read a lot of articles on aquatic biology and botany as well as watch documentaries, always been more of a hobby than a dream job especially since to get a degree in marine biology it takes 8 years minimum lol

Yeah I watched as my husband built, programmed and re downloaded all the drivers on my pc he just built it today in about 6 hours, it is a process, but I am extremely happy my old one was about 20 years old and could not play the steam games I have been wanting and now I have no problem with them.

yeah I know basics with cars, but I normally stick to owning older cars since I have never really been big about having back up and side cameras or special Bluetooth computer components lol I currently have a 1994 jeep grand Cherokee considering upgrading to a 2000 or newer Toyota Camry when the right one appears lol

agreed I only went out when needed while under quarantine, but I would see over 50 people fishing or 100 people at the park on my way to the grocery store... I guess people didn't care or just got bored they didn't care if they got sick...

I like older cars myself. I'm a sucker for the boxy style of cars from the 70s to early 90s.
Nissans are my choice car, never had an issue with them for as long as I have had one.
Don't need fancy things in my car, hell I remember when clocks in cars weren't even standard. whee

That is indeed chrome, there IS a way to go into chrome and force flash on the newer ones.
Can't remember exactly what it was off the top of my head, will have to slide to another PC later and look it up for you if you want it.
The chrome I run always had flash support cause chrome stopped support of vista os before it upgraded browsers to the one that stopped flash. AHAHAHAHA.

...That would be great! Been needing some new inspiration for avis lol recently all I do is go to runway and catwalk cycle through the avi's/items I already own and use that which isn't bad just gets repetitive

yeah I will gladly admit monster hunter world has optimization issues I honestly prefer older monster hunters world is just glitchy and feels like it is missing the soul of the other game plus they took out one of my favorite monsters and made the others I like paid dlc x.X I have never been a huge fan of paid dlc I understand not all games will come out perfect but that is what updates are for not paid dlc x.X

Yeah I have a large array of hobbies which is nice since that means it is easy to find things in common with others, but is does not help me make friends lol I have discovered hobbies keep your mind and hands busy and happy, but will easily disrupt your social life which would be a negative if I actually had close friends I started really accumulating hobbies during and after high school when people would just come in and out of my life like I was a revolving door or something now I think my hobbies give me personality and character. I enjoy alone time as well as time with others... which use to be really hard since I use to be extremely depressive and hate myself. sometimes you just have to surround yourself with things you enjoy to find that inner peace well that and it helps to have a shoulder to lean on when you are depressed I think I have maybe 2 people that I can call a close friend and I like it that way since I know I can trust them and do not have to worry about people mistreating me or fights amongst my friend group... I honestly despise drama most things can easily be solved by taking a few moments to separate from a person or thing relaxing and thinking about the issue at hand and then discussing it and either finding a solution or a compromise not all things can end with both parties being happy so compromises are always acceptable it is a good way to teach people you can't always have everything you want all the time... (wow that was kinda a long rant lol)

Well to be honest the computer I have from 2000 was a hand me down and what saved it was when I got it I upgraded the graphics card to one that was compatible and had been released a year or 2 ago but now everything is fairly new except my solid state drive which I never fill up since I have an external hard drive and internal hard drive lol I am pretty happy with the performance my case is by corsair it's the Corsair obsidian 450D which is just a line that corsair makes without led fans that is great at keeping everything cool whether you use liquid cooling or fans. my pc is currently at 29 degrees Celsius which is about 15 degrees cooler than my prior pc which means a lot to me since I am not a fan of my computer being my rooms heater lol...

I feel you I never updated and still refuse to... I only use windows 7 it is the easiest and most user friendly installment of windows I have found. I have figured out what "mandatory" updates windows tries to update that brick the old system as well as force the update and I just never update and delete them if they ever try to re-update I ignore the update.

yeah the older cars seem more reliable my sister in law has bought 3 cars within the last year all newer than 2008 and all have proceeded to have the engine fail normally a piston or the engine fail entirely first 2 were Subaru foresters the newest one was a kai optima luckily the kai just had a piston issue and was still under warranty... honestly I don't care much about the special features of a car as long as it is reliable, has ac (since I live in the southern US it is already hitting 95 degrees during daylight hours x.x), and doesn't need complicated maintenance...

People are ignorant, but that doesn't excuse them from the law lol or so I was told I think people don't fully comprehend certain things and if it interferes with their daily routine they do their best to ignore it or act out...

I would like that I use flash a lot more than most people since I play certain online games that use it as well as certain videos/gifs I have bookmarked...

I don't blame you ... I just take things one day at a time and hope for the best lol like today I plan on cooking something I have never cooked before so either it will be fantastic or a huge learning experience either way obtaining the knowledge from the experience is good whether the experience itself was bad or not...

Yeah it is easier to be more trusting to me if you have a small group of friends... you seem to contact me regularly maybe you could find a common platform and talk their I understand a lot of the time people are too busy to hang out so just chatting is always nice. if you do not have enough usb's then internal is normally the way to go I bought a case with 2 ssd slots and 6 internal hard drive slots just in case and I save images and videos/music on my 1tb external hard drive,

yeah I like how safe I feel in older vehicles. I actually do not mind doing regular maintenance on my vehicle it is when something goes wrong I get stressed and tend to not want to deal with it...my old vehicle was a newer mazda 3 hatchback and it had its motor mounts broken before I bought it and I didn't notice until a month in and that was AWFUL then the transfer case busted I got rid of that car immediately ...honestly prefer older cars because of the stories I have heard and personal experiences with newer cars lol yeah she tends to have poor luck she has the mindset that these 2 particular brands are the only ones she likes and wants and only buys from those 2 companies which isn't the best mindset to have when your cars keep breaking...

yeah honestly I only ever go outside during the hot seasons when I am gardening or swimming. It doesn't help that my skin is sensitive to sunlight of any kind and I burn even with most sunscreens x.x I had band camp one year and stood in the shade outside for an hour with spf 60 sunscreen and when I was done I looked like a lobster x.X I don't really tan I more burn bad then the skin flakes off if it is real bad I might actually scab and scar from it x.X...

I cooked Katsudon it actually turned out pretty well I was surprised! I normally do not cook Asian cuisine since I am not confident with those techniques and could easily buy it out for better quality, but katsudon is simply pork cutlet (with panko) fried served over rice, eggs, and veggies. Honestly if I had to pick a favorite cuisine it would be hard since I love Japanese (even though I can't cook it well), Italian, and American(mainly american bbq and southern food)...

Sitting a bigger external like this, it is WIDER than my PC.
Looking at this thing from this angle, head on, it is probably just as wide as my PC is.

Been awhile since I opened it, but think I am still running PATA inside this thing.
I can't complain too bad about the USB, it has 2 on the front, 4 in the back. I've added a USB hub.

Only issue is if the external is not supplied by its own power pack, it will sometimes fail to recognize the external or lose connection to it. Currently have 3 externals with power packs, and three with out, sadly all USB ports directly to the PC are in use at the moment.

As for internal harddrive, well, you figure this thing is from 05-06 maybe? 500 gb harddrive was high end standard at the time for a premade PC out of the box.
Since I have my tablet plugged in, had to take off one of the harddrives, at the moment sitting at 8,500gigs, if the other hardrive was in, would be 9,500gigs that I usually have on at any one time. My other external is for swapping around between PCs to move things.

Yes, images, music, videos, anime, movies, anything and everything I might find of interest, goes on harddrives. I have learned that while nothing is ever truly gone on the net, some things are damn hard to find again and it is easier to keep them on my drives.

...yeah I can't get the astra item to animate on gaia any more I still use them though b/c they are cute. to me when I want an item on gaia a lot of people are holding onto the item or don't get on any more so older items can be difficult to find... newer once at times as well especially since gaia is now limiting some gaia cash items in the cash stores which makes the price higher in market place, luckily every item I really like I already own why I try to help others when I can since i know trying to obtain certain items can be difficult.

that sounds awful I have a planner on my phone with all my bills listed and recently the power bill has been sending itself delayed by a week and it throws me off budgeting I assume it is because of the pandemic, but I am a person who likes things to arrive on time so I can deal with them and be done for a month lol

Online is easy to stay in touch especially since I am on my pc all the time even when I am busy if it isn't a long convo I can send a short response which suffices a person until I can listen to them or have a longer conversation with them later... text super easy for me since I normally have my phone on me in case of an emergency since i do freelance and stay at home I am the back up for most people I am close too if a car breaks down or they need help with something... phone calls on the other hand I am awful at I tend to get lost in a conversation and I know that so if I do not have to I don't answer most phone calls and respond with an email or text if at all possible... emails I check once a week unless I know I have a bill due soon lol I try to be social to a handful of people but honestly I would rather stay indoors and be left to my own devices...

I have seen slim cases before I have one in my entertainment room in case I want to watch anything online or need a back up but they really can't fit anything in them x.x especially cpu fans and graphics cards... that is a lot of gigs lol ,but you are right I save everything I really like because when I need it or want it again I will have a difficult time re-finding it...
