((Guys, I've finally finished my essays (until the next deadline). So happy. So tired.))
In the past...
Ghetsis nodded. "Yes, I'm sure you're an expert on all things pokémon. Never mind the wealth of researchers and scholars who might disagree with you. What do they know, really?"
He spoke quietly, so only Kenta could hear him. Then he cleared his throat and called out to the waiting queue, "NEXT!"
((Okay. Kenta. Dude. Timeskip time. You can prove yourself right in a pokémon battle next time Plasma are being dicks razz Also, my true post shall come tomorrow morning, since I think I should go to bed for ever))

((lol congrats. glad i have art courses in college mostly XD)) ((hell yeah! ill crush them!)) kenta growled at this. "well if thats your attitude then hell yeah i do! to think researchers know more than someone whos truely bonded with their friends is just about the stupidest thing ive ever heared! the only person more blind than you are your followers!" kenta stormed off. as he did, sasha changed into her zorua form and hopped onto his shoulder, sticking her tongue out at ghetsis before we leave. --- once gone and onto the streets of castalea, kenta found a comfortable spot by the docks and sat holding sasha on his lap. he sighed and slowly calmed down. but a thought drove him crazy. he almost agreed with that pompus a**. up until he got on about research and money, and then shoo'd kenta away... till then the group sounded like his thoughts. pokemon should be free... but plazma was single minded! that was their flaw. the complete seperation of people and pokemon was absolutely wrong! and that one point was a thick enough line to divide himself from them. === after much thought, kenta eventually fell asleep. in the morning, he would finaly leave this city

((Okay, so the EU version of TERA is out today and I fully intend on playing it. And good news, my line seems to have been fixed today as well. Speedtest to Berlin, where the servers are (I think) Mmmmaybe Frankfurt. Gonna be so sweet. What sort of art do you do, Kenta? I drew my character, Tess 3nodding )) Wayne sat by the burned-out ruins of Kero's home. He looked pale and hadn't managed to sleep. How could he, after what happened? First a member of Team Plasma broke into his dorm room armed with death threats and now... he looked over at Zack, who leaned against the perimeter fence. It was made of thick iron, but the blast had managed to bend it backwards. Wayne expected Zack to be fearsome, but the man was deep in thought, silent as if humbled. What had once been Kero's pristine garden was now burned down to cinders after the fire caught hold. Wayne hadn't gotten there in time. If he had, maybe he could've helped, but he'd been lost in the city. No. He couldn't make excuses. This happened because he didn't listen to Plasma's warning. They said that if he told anyone about their threats then he'd be putting his friends, his family in danger. This was his fault. Guilt ate at him and he stole a glance back to Zack. Did he blame Wayne as well? It was his daughter, after all... Last Night."Hurry," Zack said, almost kicking the taxi door off its hinges. Elizabeth shoved a wodge of notes in the gobsmacked driver's hand and spluttered an apology before hurrying out of the car. Katelyn was upset, her princess night ruined by something she didn't understand. Elizabeth didn't understand either, but she knew that now wasn't the time to ask questions. Her husband was a professional. Was. Zack opened the front door to Kero's house and stepped inside. He seemed to be looking for something, but after a few seconds appeared satisfied that it wasn't there. "Pack whatever you'll need for a long trip. Five minutes. Go!" For Katelyn that meant toys. Luckily Helena's room was a shrine to every toy in existence and mommy urged her to be quick. She'd plunder the room of its better toys; the pokémon dolls and handheld games, which she stuffed into one of Helena's bags. She wouldn't mind, would she? Elizabeth grabbed the essentials, which Kero happened to keep in great supply. He was a careful man, and if the contents of his bathroom cupboards were to believed, a great believer in the benefits of dental hygiene. She gathered the clothes they were wearing on arrival, which they could change into later. Meanwhile Zack drove out a car from the garage. His father preferred motorbikes, but still had a small collection of other vehicles; he wouldn't miss one. And besides, if what Wayne said was true, it'd be for a good cause. He parked the car at the front, keeping the motor running while he stepped out. Elizabeth ran down the driveway with her arms full of gear, dumping it on the back seat. "Where's Katelyn?" Zack asked. Elizabeth was just about to reply when the house exploded. Now."Hey, I heard about what happened. Unreal." Wayne overheard the familiar voice; Aunt Jackie was talking to Zack. Looked like she'd only just arrived. Beyond the gates, police lined the streets. There was an ambulance on standby for the area residents. The explosion's overpressure blew out nearby windows but nobody was seriously injured. It helped that most of the street had gone to Plasma's banquet; this was the rich part of town, after all. "How you holding up? You look like hell. Zack?" He broke his silence. "I have to talk to you about something, Jacqueline. In private." For a second there, Wayne could've sworn that Zack glared at him with contempt. His heart sank. His hands were shaking. It was terrifying; more than facing death on a conveyor belt trash grinder, more than Yana pointing a blade in his face; the thought that something could happen at any point, any time. And he was powerless to stop it.

(hm? ... o wow o.o im not as good as u but actually theres a link to my deviant art on my sig i think. i do anime style drawings, mostly in pencil.) kenta awoke to sasha nudging him. slowly he sat up and picked her up. he smiled. "are you ready to leave this god forsaken city?" sasha smiled and let out a "zoor!", then moved herself onto his shoulder as he got up. when he rose he relized he had slept in those uncomfortable dress clothes from the night before. he headed for the nearest building and went to change in the bathroom. when he came out he had a style similar to Reds, but in blue and with a white shirt where Reds black one would be. there is a pokeball symbol on his jackets back in white. once dressed, he set off for the desert, and the next town

((And now for the encore!))
Last Night.
Yellow and red plumes of fire burst into the sky, met with a deafening boom. Elizabeth and Zack were thrown off their feet, crashing into the side of Kero's car and warping the metal. Flames receded, gathering on the wrecked home; the blast had been immense, blowing out walls, leaving what was left blazing like a blackened smashed skull.
Elizabeth was up first. Thought and reason left her, she ran at the fire: "KATELYN!"
Zack grabbed her wrist, pulling her back. His arm fixed over her chest and she struggled, screaming at him. "Get off me! GET OFF OF ME!" "Elizabeth!" Zack gripped her stomach, pushed his head against hers. "I'll go in! I'll go in."
She scrunched up her eyes and nodded, letting him pass. Zack couldn't just rush in, the flames stung his skin, even from this distance; they danced, as tall as Katelyn, a ferocious ballet for as far as he could see. Zack took one look back then went into the breach.
This wasn't his fire; it'd hurt him just like anybody else. He shielded his face, stooped down as smoke swelled around him. If he took too long he'd suffocate, or burn, it didn't matter. Katelyn was in here somewhere and he'd find her.
"Katelyn!" he shouted, jumping back as the ceiling gave way, "Katelyn, can you hear me?!"
No answer, just the roar of fire.
"Don't move! It's daddy, I'm coming for you!" Still no response. A wall fell apart, black beams poking out of red flame; why the hell did Kero have so much wood in his house?!
Zack used Aura to clear the stairs. He didn't risk standing on them, they were sure to buckle under his weight. He knew his daughter, guessed where she'd be. The way to Helena's room was missing; whatever caused the explosion had blown away a sizeable chunk of the floor upstairs.
Fire was a sea between the two and a gap spanning almost the length of the house. Zack took a run-up. He launched himself into space, fire licking at his feet. He wasn't going to make it; he fell short and shot out his hand, grabbing the neck of a light fitting. He swung and the wire snapped, but his jump was long enough and he hit the floor on the other side of the chasm, rolled, and forced himself to his feet.
Outside, Elizabeth snapped her phone shut. The fire brigade was on its way but it meant nothing to her. She felt sick. Half of her family was inside that inferno; Katelyn was caught in the explosion that started it, Zack was risking his life on the off-chance that she hadn't been blown to bits.
"Holy crap!"
Wayne landed next to her. The faint blue glow expelled from his body as Duosion released Telekinesis and the pokémon went back into its ball. Before he knew it, Wayne was trapped against Elizabeth's chest as she damn near squeezed the life out of him. Looks like he'd found the right place.
The house's roof fell in on itself, burning as easily as a leaf. Zack leapt out of a window just as flames raced after him. He landed, coughing, but with a bundle in his arms. Elizabeth was there, tearing away the cloth.
"Jesus Christ..." Wayne said, awestruck. He closed in slowly, peering over Elizabeth's shoulder. She was crying. He swallowed. Katelyn looked like a doll, glistening with a sheen of sweat, a few smudges of dirt but fast asleep in Zack's dinner jacket. "Is... is she...?" "She's breathing," Zack said quickly, coming over and clearing his throat one last time. "I don't know how. The fire didn't touch her." "How's that possible?" "It's a miracle," Elizabeth cradled her daughter, whispering between sobs. Wayne felt like crying himself.
"Plasma. Plasma did this, didn't they?" he looked at Zack, who returned a stare that told Wayne to be quiet. "This is all my fault..."
The sound of distant sirens echoed through the streets.
Now.
"How are they?" "Well, the kid still hasn't woken up and your wife won't leave her side. So the same as it has been for hours," Jackie replied, pouring a coffee from the machine. Because the attack was on a ranking officer's home, the World Government had become personally involved. A small relief station was set up next to their mobile command centre; a truck filled with computer stations.
"It's amazing," the operative went on, "all the time you had me assigned to baby duty, I never would've guessed she was anything but a normal little girl." "The shockwave yesterday--" "--Is still being looked into. Take a look at this."
Jackie led Zack up a ramp and into the command centre. One of the monitors displayed a black and white image that looked like shaded dark blocks with a white smear trailing away. There were several similar photographs, but the smear was gone, replaced by expanding rings.
"Satellite images taken at the exact moment that the shockwave hit. This building here? That's the Plasma headquarters, a building behind where they held last night's banquet." "The shockwave originated there?" "It looks that way. These are just blurry photographs but see that? It looks like something is moving away from the blast. It's probably a pokémon. Right now we're trying to determine which one it could be, but there are none on record that possess that kind of power."
"We know plenty that can wipe out a city," Zack said. "But it didn't. Whatever it is, it's impressive." Jackie sat back in her chair with a smirk. Zack studied the photographs some more. The timestamp placed them at being taken at intervals of mere fractions of seconds. He doubted that there were any eye-witnesses.
"What effect did the shockwave have?" "Aside from freaking people out? Nothing, so far as we can tell. It passed through solid objects; acted more like a strong wind than a true blast."
Zack nodded. His thoughts were back with Katelyn.
"She'll be okay, you know?" Jackie got Zack's attention, "Your daughter." "You can say her name." Jackie sucked her cheek then gave a smirk, climbing out of the chair. "I'll keep you posted if there are developments. Just get some rest. Or was there something else?"
"Yeah," Zack said, thinking back to what he'd found in Plasma's offices, "something important."

((Yay!!!!!!! Katelyn survived! biggrin Thank Arceus for the power of aura. XD Now for something not as interesting....))
Luka looked from his laptop to see a rather peculiar sight. Misa was dancing around singing whilst the other Pokémon were looking at her in bemused astonishment. The song seemed to rise and fall erratically and just seemed to mull about in the middle of nowhere. It was utterly bizarre and Luka couldn't help but laugh. "Misa, maybe I should take you all to one of Nimbasa's famous musicals. I think you might enjoy it especially what with your.... musical talents."
Tayla let forth a bubbly cackle. [Excellent sarcasm, Luka. But, I have to say that I would quite like to see one of the Nimbasa musicals. I saw some posters around town for one that is on over the next few days. It looked spectacular.]
Misa glowered at Tayla for a moment. [You just don't know when someone is a better singer than you? Eh Tayla?]
Tayla rolled her beady eyes. [That was singing? I couldn't tell.]
Misa nearly leapt at Tayla but Luka butted in before they could get at each other. "Ladies, please, don't fight. We don't need it. Just smile and get along, please... I mean... I'm sure you'll be great friends in time."
The two Pokémon looked at each other before nodded consent and ignoring each other. Two divas in one party. Luka hadn't planned this one very well.
