"So how long are you two-er, three-sticking around this time?" Van asked as he watched their game. "Although after my letter, I'm surprised you didn't pop over here as soon as possible." he said with a chuckle.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Sorry; we had business we needed to settle before we could leave, and we knew you both could handle yourselves well enough without us. You always did." Larai replied. "As for how long we'll stay, that depends. I personally might stay around the area for a few weeks, maybe a month or two or so. I know I can't go sailing back off to Syria after what I've pulled off for another hundred years or so, unless I want to be caught and executed."

"Depends how antsy and bored I get." Kai said easily.

Mala looked happy just to have one kid stay around for awhile, even as she totally decked the twins with no problems.

((Ehhh, block block! sweatdrop Maybe spontaneous Milly visit hoping for help in tracking down Daemon? Help get some drahmah going?))

Milly was growing ever so frustrated in her search for Daemon. It was infuriating, to say the least. One who knew her might also note it as completely devastating for her, like no matter what she did, she would always be alone. Always. With a strong bit of nervousness, she approached Mala's home - hoping to ask her if she might have seen Daemon.

"Anyone touches my cards, they die." Kai threatened as he set his cards down to get up and answer the door. "Milly! Long time no see!" he said loud and cheerily, waving a hand behind his back and out of sight, motioning to Daemon to hide.

His heart pounding in sheer terror, Daemon was quick to oblige, hopping up and making his way to anywhere in the house to keep him out of sight until his mistress, now with a very different connotation, left.

"Ah, hello, Kai. Might I have a word with Mala for a moment?" Milly asked, knowing full well the reputation of the twins by now - and being sure that she probably couldn't trust them personally to tell her what she needed to know.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Sure, just wait right here. After the whole fiasco turning dad into a naga, he found out the hard way it's the males that get preggers, so he's feeling a leetle self-conscious right now." Kai lied before going to get Mala. Anything to delay Milly getting inside and finding Daemon.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If anyone touches my cards, they also won't be living long." Mala warned as she got up to answer the door for Milly once Kai returned - having overheard the conversation.

Daemon had promptly locked himself in the bathroom and sat in the corner, scared to death of the hell that would break loose if Milly found him. Not only would she drag him back later to inflict some nasty punishment, but she was bound to spill the beans and bring down the wrath of everyone in the house minus Larai.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Milly! Sister! What are you doing here?" Mala asked merilly, offering the half-demoness a hug before listening on to the situation.

"My son...he's ran away. I've looked everywhere for him, but he's nowhere to be found. Please, you've got to help me find him!" Milly pleaded, sounding desperate, miserable even. "I..I just don't know what I'd do if I never saw him again..." Milly was practically on the verge of tears.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

'Two words: 'bull' and 's**t'.' Kai mouthed to his dad with a flat expression as they waited in the next room.

A conversation continued between a confused Mala and a very upset Milly. Needless to say, the latter is a tad bit psychotic with rapid moodswings. Eventually, Mala ended up offering to help look for him in the next town over, as a way of giving Daemon a chance to get the ******** out of here.

Daemon stood quietly, ear pressed against the bathroom door as he tried to listen in on what was being said. He might actually be okay as long as Milly didn't blab about him.
