Nerissa stretched as she entered the room when Duran returned. She stared at Sal--foolish pup was in his human form. She held the pictures of the similar looking creature in her mouth. "Birds. Fine." She said, before setting the pictures on the couch next to Duran, "Whose this?" She asked.
As for her own feelings about Hell and Heegh, she didn't care one way or another. She had no experience out of Hell. She knew the life there. A part of her wanted to be free but she rationalized her thoughts against it every time. Where would she go? Where would she hide? Nym found that flowers could indeed be pulled out of the ground. They weren't stuck, like their counterparts of Hell. They also made him sneeze. The hound had muddy paws. He entered the house, making tracks upon the floor. "Birds?" He made a face.
Nym was unsure whether or not he wanted to be controlled by Heegh. He wanted to be his own boss, but like his mate he was unsure of what to do if he ever got out of it.

(Notices Daphne's weakness is spiders while looking up familiar lists)
"Marcha (pronounced Marsha) can explain while demonstrating a disguise charm," he said patting her head before giving her one.
Marcha chose to be a reaper, possibly since the others could do human to demonstrate the diversity of creatures they could become, and matched her physical age and looked like an adolescent one. She picked up the picture and pointed at the puppy, "this is me," she pointed at the other creature in the picture, "she was master's Hell hound companion who me thinks smells like you and him, but I don't quite remember her scent."
"Yes birds, Nym," he said with a touch of sarcasm on the word birds. Luckily his floors were mostly wood or tile with throw rugs (I forgot to mention that in description, but your muddy paws reminded me of this). "Except for the ravens... almost every other creature that I can think of that are active at this time of year and are common in that area are a familiar to one vampire or another that frequents that house. Birds are more diversified and the crow or raven is the only bird I am aware of to be someone's familiar, so you have a slightly higher choice when picking a species you want to be. I do suggest that at least one of you picks one of the smaller and cuter type when picking a species after I double check what is there."

Back at the Soul Fortress more discussion happened, Sylin was shown a room he could stay in, Sephiroth did his nightly routine before going to bed, and Rosemary had her GL dinner. Despite their protests Dan, Daisy, and a half awake Black were taken to Jacob's. Veni privately asked Jacob if he'd consider making a room or even a single roomed building structure for the twins. Galantros stayed behind despite both Black and Rosemary would have preferred him to go and keep Black company among other reasons on Rosemary's part.
When they were finally done with all the things they could think to do and able to lock the door to their room, the vampires turned to the nice warm human and for a time almost competed to kiss his lips as they hugged him because once back on the vampire's home world they weren't likely to kiss him or be affectionate at all. Except maybe a quick good morning or good night peck in Rosemary's windowless room or an 'accidental' brushing of the hands while walking by. However if the likeliness of an unpleasant visit is greatly increased for a time they didn't want to be caught in the middle of being greatly affectionate to him. Nor did they want it to seem like they were more than good friends.

Galantros tossed and turned a bit after he slept for a little while. He had rested as much as he possibly could, and before Black left him, he had spent as much time with her as possible... admittedly enjoying a rather nice makeout session where he fed his incubus aura fully yet carefully.
For once, he hadn't wondered very much if he was doing the right thing. He wanted his Black to be safe, and he very much wanted to help protect his friends. Something in him told him he could very much do so competently now, especially with the curse demon gone from his body, and his more true form coming into existence lately.
Unable to sleep any longer, GL tossed off the covers from his bed, dressed in his regular clothing, and made his way down towards where the angels would practice their fighting in one of the hologram type sparring rooms. He made sure to pick one that was empty, then sighed...
"Let's see what I can do...."
Willing it, ever so carefully, his body shifted form, bones, muscles, energy liquid parts shifting into organs, clothes actually morphing instead of tearing this time along with his shape, something he chalked up to the magic part of his incubus battle form. Once finished, he was in that monstrous, yet now very controllable form that had helped him defeat the illusionist, shadowy demon that had plagued them back in THoR some time ago.
His transformation complete, he practiced slaying vicious enemies with claws, teeth, and morphing wings. His drive to protect those he loved kept him going, made him improve. He took few things seriously usually, but when it mattered there could be an intensity about him... and this was one of those few things he took rather seriously.
As time passed, he learned that his wings were extremely versatile, morphable into almost any object of his choosing, able to become a variety of mouths, teeth, claws, blades, sharp instruments, tendrils, even solidify itself with solid bone to become shield like. He found them strange, but helpful. Also useful, and found by accident after scratching himself, his healing abilities were still intact in this form. Idly experimenting from there on, he found that most of what he could do as a reaper, he could still do in his more demonic body.
- - - - -
Sylin was in a similar state as Galantros. His body needed very little rest, about no more than 10 hours once a week. Currently, he was cleaning his armor thoroughly, removing even the slightest traces of sulfur and Hell scent that even the vampires hadn't been able to detect.
He was infact, mostly humanoid in design as he stood in just the black cloth part of his outfit, his armor disassembled. The dark scarlet metals gleamed from their cleansing and polishing in the starlight and crystal light that bathed the room.
Sylin frowned with his more leech-like, tooth filled mouth, breathing slightly raspily without his filtration mask. He didn't need it to live, but it made breathing a little easier and thus less of something he had to focus on with his body's natural filters so he could divert concentration and willpower to more important things.... like shooting. He was frowning because he came across the chest portion of his armor that had the very minuscule markings of kill tallys... Kills that had been of angels. Last he counted them, it had been almost a hundred. An impressive feat, even for higher positioned demons. Not one that he was proud of now though. The little marks looked like a patterned indenture, or just a strange scratch in the metal, but he was certain that those with superior eyesight, such as Rosemary, could see it for what it was. Breathing a bit more heavily than normaly for a moment, what passed as a sigh, he finished cleaning his armor. He then started to snap and connect the pieces back to his black body suit.
With even the filtration unit of his armor emptied and throughly cleansed with holy water, there was just a small pile of hell sulfur on some papers laid on the floor. With his sensitive nose, he could still smell the reek of evil from it, even in this holy place... In fact, it made it contrast greatly. Picking up the small bottle of refined holy water given to him by the soul guiders, he poured an amount on the ashes and watched as they smoldered and eventually disintegrated into nothingness. Thoughtfully, he realized that if he stayed on his more evil path, that he would've been utterly destroyed in such a manner too eventually.
Extract his all-purpose assault and sniping rifle from his body, he ran a hand over it's bone and flesh covered surface, able to feel the ever faint but presence pulse it gave.
"Soon, old friend, we will be doing much better work. We will atone and answer for the sins we've committed."
The weapon's barrel had teeth slowly emerge from it and it gave a quiet screech in response. Nodding, he let the weapon be absorbed into his back again, then lay down on his bed. His hands picked up the most oddest and interesting piece of literature he'd ever seen in his existance (Given to him by Dieamos earlier), lifting it from his nightstand, and opening it up to the very first few pages, reading from where he left off...
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul..."
- - - - -
Jacob kissed back his vampires just as passionately, knowing it may be a while before they could express their love for each other physically.
Later, he held both of them close to his body, trying not to contemplate the consequences of choosing to help Adira and her hellhounds. He wasn't having doubts, his hunch had been particularly strong in that everything would turn out okay. He still however, couldn't help but worry. Brushing aside their hair, he kissed the foreheads of Veni and Rosemary before he felt himself beginning to doze off.
- - - - -
Eztli finished his prayers, drawing strength from the power above. He had asked for help during his confusion of emotions involving Adira, wondering why they were quickly growing stronger despite barely knowing her. Having a feeling sleep wouldn't come easily to him, he sat on the edge of his bed in quiet contemplation, idly praying now and then, staring at the plantlife that covered the walls of his room. He didn't need the light providing crystals to be activated, for if he wished, his fiery wings provided more than ample illumination for him.
For a moment, he wondered if it would be too forward of him to just simply ask Adira out on a date later once all this terrible business was finished with, and her safety was more assured. A simple date of course, nothing too involved or complicated.

Nerissa's head tilted. A Hell hound. Interesting. She found this much more intriguing than the charm. She starred longer at the picture, noticing the eye shape and the familiar markings. An image of a dead figure sat before her vision. The image went away and Nee shook her head. Strange.
Nym rolled his own eyes, deciding at once to be a darker bird...whichever there were. He starred upon the newly formed reaper. "That's interesting." He stated, a smile of excitement lit up his features.
------ Daphne dived into the deep end of the bathing pool. The warm water caressed her freezing pale skin and she let out a small, satisfied "mmm" of appreciation. From her years as a human, she was still not a very strong swimmer, thankfully however, years of practice paid off. She swam toward the shallow end of the pool and sat for a moment. She closed her eyes and her mind focused on the dangers to come. She had picked up on the moods (one didn't need to be an empath to figure them out) and she had asked about what was going on. After much prodding, someone finally gave in and told her. Daphne felt for the poor girl--er, demoness-- that was somewhere in this Soul Fortress. Poor soul. ----
Cian was impatient to say the least. He wanted to get Daphne out of this situation. It was dangerous and she had no reason to stay. His feet tapped restlessly. She was in the female bathing room and there was something that prevented him from entering the room. This annoyed him. -----
Adira stood in her room in front of a mirror. She was gaining a bit of weight, which helped make her appearance a bit more normal. She tilted her head and suddenly she became a petite blond. Was that the change she needed? She sighed. No it wasn't. She changed herself back. She made a face and changed her appearance again; hair much longer but the same color--brown with red-brown highlights. She tilted her head once more. That was a nice touch. She nodded to herself once before biting her lip. Obviously that wasn't what she was worried about. She sat on the bed, aware of the pair of eyes that watched her every move from the corner.

Something poked at Cian's conscience (most likely a messenger of God making him think like they tend to do without our realization) and reminded him that they are her friends, that older vampires let a stray stick around rather than kick her out or kill her and hadn't seriously threatened her or abused her at all. He remembered that disaster in which many people including vampires in gaia were killed, but they had probably helped keep her safe, and all the other nonsense gaia's own citizens brought up like humans vs vampires vs zombies, the murderous easter bunny and other things that hadn't affected her due to them allowing her to stay. And then he was reminded that they didn't outright kill him when they were fearing for Daphne when he showed up, but instead gave him a chance. When they decided to be less tense they let him stay in the territory despite that he could probably compete with Veni, but he was allowed to stay. In fact Veni had shown interest to include Cian in his little vampire family of which Daphne was considered a member already with the way they treated her. Before he left, Veni had mentioned that Cian's magic barrier could be very useful and that it was a pity that he hadn't taught him it... Veni hadn't asked Cian to stay, but...if he abandoned them would he be welcome anymore and how would Daphne feel about that?
(Of course this all comes down to if he's a coward and runs away from satan and danger for cowards don't get into heaven if he runs :p)

He rubbed her back, "It is a wonderful invention, is it not? It has limitations though..." he gave Marcha a poke in the middle of her back rub.
"It can't turn me into practically any demon from hell, it can't change my gender, I can't make myself look like someone else with this charm as it is what I would look like if I was this, it can however make me look like most species in Limbo's known universe outside the hellish ones."
"Take this," he said to her, "and use it."
She took it and absorbed it. "The item I gave her was designed for species with an offensive odor to most other species in the area. It is made to change one's scent. This particular one will help you better smell like whatever species you're mimicking while hiding your own odor. In a few minutes she'll smell more like a reaper with a residue of her old scent which can be easily removed with a tablet called Grime-be-Gone if you don't want to experience the luxury of a shower right before you turn into a bird. They are easy to use in almost any form."

Salanio thought these new items to be interesting, of course never having seen them in Hell before. And the bird plan was a good one, though he'd despise being something small and cute just to see if they could get a glimpse of Adira. Better than the alternative of feeling Heegh's wrath, though.
"Abilities. What about abilities of other species? Is that possible with that thing?"
Of course it somewhat was, depending. Innate talents would readily be avaliable, but learned would take time to master.
"Being able to transform into some other animal with many, many teeth and claws to tear apart something's innards would be so very useful... as therapy of course. Perhaps when this is all over..."
Salanio had cursed luck in that category. He didn't have the strongest or sharpest claws and teeth, though his lightning was usually VERY effective in killing, as was his weapon that he used while in human form. He fingered the machete that dangled at his side, smiling in a combination of warmth and madness as he knicked his finger and bled a bit. He sniffed the rapidly bleeding digit, and stuck it in his mouth, drinking the blood and idly chewing on the digit until he grew tired of the coppery taste. A small flash of electricity on the inside of his mouth instantly burnt and seared the flesh so it wouldn't bleed any longer. He could always reopen the wound when he got a little thirsty later.

Duran sighed tired from his earlier trip among other things. He wrapped his wings around him and allowed that hellish aura to come up again though it didn't travel very far. "Instinctual talents are readily available, but learned ones require some practice. You may have to practice flying for a little while. The scent changers only last about two hours, but I'll give you more than one. Any other questions?"

"Then it is time for rest," he said and pushed himself up with his wings rather than arms. The brushed up against Nerissa his dog/reaper who didn't flinch and possibly Nerissa since I picture her as being one of the closer ones.
"All of you may sleep in here if you wish, however if you'd like a room..." He walked through the kitchen and into the hall and opening doors as he described them. "Salanio may have the office, please don't tear up papers with writing, and Nerissa and Nym may have the guest room here, I'll be in that room there. If you need anything including a conversation maybe, paw at the door, knock, bark, or whatever to get my attention and I'll answer."
Marcha became a dog again and he took the charm from her and gave it to Nerissa, "you may have this for now." He went into his room fallowed by Marcha and shut the door. He went to bed after doing a few minor things and covered his head and most of his body with his wings.

Next day:
Jacob got up first as he usually did. After doing several things he received a thorough cleaning to remove strong vampire scent in odd places, though he'd never be rid of the faint oder of them since he's able to tell them to do things like a functioning arm. After he was dressed in his old 'usual' garb, he woke Veni who did a marvelous bloody faced makeup job on him. This wasn't his main disguise, but a back up should the Halloween like two face charm should fail. And to add to some pizazz Rosemary had set up a simple drip system with changeable mini-cartridges to slowly drip some of his blood since he slowly bled all the time to add to the ruined face effect that everyone knew him by. It was also due to this that they figured what was under the armor was less important so they didn't put as much effort into that area. They had to go back to the pac ghosts sometime
BlackMN had gotten up to eat and do other necessities before going back to bed after her energy drain. The kids remained asleep under her bed, but would probably occupy Jacob's room if he didn't lock it on other nights as he made it with vampires in mind so it was the ideal room for him. Elsewhere, Sephiroth hadn't expected them to be back till late afternoon so other than packing he pretended it was like any other day unless others bothered him. Ma Jian-shen hadn't been asked to help so he wasn't likely to go that day and keep to his normal schedule.

Galantros stretched as the next day arrived. He made sure he had everything he needed, plus some things he picked up and placed in the pocket storage in his belt for emergencies, like healing potions and the like. He wanted to be as ready as possible this time, that was for certain.
Taken slightly aback by Jacob's old look he gave a faint grin expression.
"Bet that feels weird, doesn't it? Veni did a good job with the make up."
"Yes he did. And yes, it's rather odd looking like my 'old' self again, only without the pain. We all just about ready then?"
Galantros nodded.
"I've got everything I need and want. I think Eztli already went to get Adira."
- - - - - -
Making sure he was well equipt for the possible, no, inevitable battle to come, Eztli picked up the last things he needed in his room, his battle boomerangs, and stashed them on his person. He then went out of his room, and over to where Adira was staying, knocking on her door politely.
"Adira? Banquo, Ophelia? It's time to go."
Once they were all assembled, and everyone said their goodbyes, Galantros opened a portal back to THoR, and they made their way through.
