Maylee didn't smile as the bed bounced. But she did smile when Samuru wrapped his arms around her shoulders. She listened to him, saying one day they'll get away. All of them. Raki wont have to pretend to be an adult or take all the stress. Maylee, herself, wont have to be sad all the time. She could smiled like she should. But the roughness with emotion in his voice. Him turning his head away so she could see his face. That made her worry. He promised to make things right, to protect them both. Like he should have. "You deserve happiness to, Uru." She whispered as she placed her fingers against his chin and made him look at her. "You deserve happiness. The right to smile and above all...to be free from worry for me and Rakuin." She spoke softly. Her fingers felt warm as she touched Samuru's skin. Maylee wasn't one that partook into skin relations. But when she did touch, it was on;y Samuru that received the rights. Maylee slipped her hand away and smiled sweetly at her brother. Genuine, real, and not fake like many. She gave him the sweetest smile possible. "You deserve much more than me and Rakuin, Uru." She whispered to him.

No, I don't. I deserve exactly what I have. Samuru thought but didn't say the words as he ruffled May's hair and sat up, the pack of his hair sticking up like a duck's tail. "I'm going to sleep...I'll see you in the morning." he stood and left, leaving the door cracked open as he walked down the hall to his room. Passing Raki's, he peered in to see it was empty then went to his. The door was always locked and he slipped the key out of its hiding place on his body, unlocking it and stepping inside, locking it behind him. He didn't let anyone in his room, not even May, and he intended to keep it that way "Haaa....gotta get to work." he muttered, ignoring his bed and sitting down at his desk.

Maylee ducked her head as Samuru ruffled her hair. She laid very still as he sat up and slipped off her bed. Saying that he was gonna go to sleep and would see her in the morning. Maylee sat up once Samuru left, leaving her door cracked open. She sat to where she was hugging her knees, the house was quite. She heard the front door open and stood up quickly thinking it was Rakuin. Maylee stared at the evening nurse and the nurse greeted her. But, the dirty red eyed girl shrank back into her room and closed to door. She walked over to her bed and took up the stack of books, tossed them across her bed. Maylee climbed onto her bed and opened them. Calulating the gas lines, the best escape route, and the heart of the village to where their attack would begin. After several hours, it became the early hours in the morning. Maylee had fell asleep under her books and with a pencil in hand.

May's head popped up as she heard the front door close and the exchanging words between the care workers. She pushed her books off of her and closed them all. Setting them onto her nightstand; she stood and stretched, popping her joints into place. She stepped from her room and looked at the morning care worker. The care worker smiled at her and gave greetings but Maylee just stared at the woman. She walked over to Samuru's door and knocked. "Samuru?" She called his name. "I'm gonna make breakfast. Please join me in a bit." Maylee shifted her bare feet and headed into the kitchen. Starting with breakfast for the two of them and the care worker.

Giving a little jump, Samuru sat up from his desk, blearily looking at the door as Maymay called through. Something about breakfast. He stretched, his bones cracking and creaking as he did then stood, unlocking his door and walking out. He was still in his clothes from yesterday, all crumpled up from sleep and the careworker blinked at him "Oh....hullo." he greeted her, mumbling as he moved into the kitchen and collapsed into the chair. He sat for a few seconds then promptly put his head on the table and began to fall back asleep.

Maylee shifted through the cupboards and got everything to make breakfast. She focused on cooking and brewing coffee for Samuru. As the bacon was frying, Maylee sat a cup of coffee in front of her brother. She gave a light shake on his shoulder. "Uru?" She shook him a little harder. "Coffee...in front of you." She told him. At some point during the night Maylee had changed into a knee high shirt that she was practically swinging in. On the back of the shirt was the Sanmiitai clan's crest. Maylee smiled at how tired her brother was. She walked over to the stove and flipped the bacon. Adding eggs next to the thick slices of pork. She got on her tip toes and took down three plates; she took out three forks. Setting them on the table and then heading for the stove to see how things were cooking.

Maylee walked over to the table. "Hot frying pan." She warned before dividing everything onto the plates. She walked over to the sink and tossed the frying pan into it. She walked over to the table and carefully placed a plate in front of Samuru. Maylee took up the extra plate and headed into the living room. Sitting the plate on the coffee table in front of the care worker. "Thank you, M..." Maylee was out of the room without a sound.

She sat at the table and crossed her legs up onto the chair. She placed her hands together and gave thanks for this meal. She looked at Samuru and took up her fork. She began eating.

Lifting his head just a wee bit at the smell of coffee, Samuru wrapped his hands around the cup but didn't drink any of it yet, just kept his chin on the table. He stared at the food only an inch from his nose, dark circles under his eyes as he finally lifted his head a fraction to sip from the coffee "We.....need to....train more...." it sounded a bit like a question but he sipped his coffee again like he didn't expect an answer. Then slowly reached out and nabbed some bacon with his fingers, nibbling the end.

Maylee got up and poured herself a glass of orange juice before returning to the table. She took a sip of her juice as Samuru spoke. She sat her glass down and nodded. "We'll go to the dojo, after breakfast." She took a bite of her bacon and stared at Samuru as her took some bacon. "Eat it all." She warned him. "I hate when I cook and you and Rakuin only eat very little of it." She mumbled before smashing her eggs. "You need the strength." She rubbed her eye still feeling tired for all the calculating and routing she did. "I found a quick and unused route we could travel." She spoke softly. "The opening to the underground pipe lines should be there too." Maylee took up her glass of juice and took a drink. She sat her bare foot against Samuru's leg without realizing she did so. "After training I'm going to go scout the area to make sure." She told him before taking several bites of her eggs.

"Nnnn....but I don't like breakfast foods...." Samuru made a small complaint, muttered into his coffee cup. He liked bacon but eggs.....eeeeggggsss.....it was like the worst for him. He always felt sick afterwards. Not that it mattered. Reaching out, he gripped his fork and stabbed a piece of egg, eating it regardless. He never told Maylee about his hatred of eggs....ever. Swallowing, he stiffened as he felt Maylee's foot against his leg "Be careful....don't let someone find you." he said, finally sitting up and sipping coffee like a normal person.

Maylee sighed as Samuru complained and muttered into his coffee. Her eyes shifted to him as she felt him stiffen to something. She looked at her leg and took her foot off of him. "Who said I was going alone?" She questioned before taking up her empty plate and empty glass. "I have to be quick and I need someone to keep a look out." She placed her dishes in the sink and started scrubbing the morning dishes. Her hair was all frizzy from what sleep she got. Her braid was pulled out and her bangs weren't held back with bobby pins. "But...it's up to you to keep me from getting caught." She told him as she sat the clean frying pan in the dish rack.

Relaxing once May took her foot off him, Samuru frowned over his piece of bacon, speaking around it "Nuh uh, May. I've got my own work to do. You're on your own for this one." he finished his bacon and pushed the eggs around with his fork before eating them. Dropping his fork once he was done, he grabbed his plate and walked it to the sink "Don't get caught."

"Your head, if I do." She mumbled as she took his plate and dropped it into the sink. Maylee looked at him and smiled sweetly in that "Yes, I'm guilt tripping you" smile of her's. She finished the dishes and dried her hands. "Mind sharing what you have to do?" She asked before setting the dishcloth on the counter and hoisting herself up. She hated doing things by herself. But if things where needing to work out certain ways. Certain things had to be done. Maylee looked up at the kitchen door as the morning care worker brought in her plate and sat it in the sink. Maylee kept her eyes on her brother as she crossed her ankles. "Thank you for the wonderful breakfast, Maylee." The nurse said quietly before bowing to the twins and leaving the kitchen.

Samuru replied once the nurse had left he room, stepping past Maylee to fill his cup again "The less you know, the less trouble you'll be in if I get caught." he sipped at the coffee, watching Maylee out of the corner of his eye. Then he turned away, leaning against the counter with his back half to her "It doesn't matter anyway. And that WAS good bacon." he added, his head turned away from her, the back of his head facing her.

Maylee puffed her checks at her brother as he said he did mind in sharing. She followed him as he stepped past him. "You're talking to the girl that's about the divide the village in a huge explosion." She said low enough to him. "If anything, I'm doing something far worse than you on a rector scale." She blinked slowly as he turned her back half way to her. "It will matter when the plan is put into effect, Uru." She gave a short sigh before slipping off the counter. She smiled as Samuru said it was good bacon. Maylee stepped around him and paused as she got to the kitchen door. She turned to him. "And you tolerated the eggs." She winked at him and left the kitchen. She passed through the living room feeling the eyes of hatred and anger on her person from her mother. She walked into her bedroom and locked the door to get ready for the day. Once ready she ninja'd out of her bedroom window to avoid the eyes of her mother and nurse.

"Don't you dare." Samuru warned as Maylee walked past him. Then he too went to his bedroom, changing quickly and doing a quick wipe of water through his hair before he left, ignoring his mother and the nurse completely.

Walking towards the apartments after she was done training she debated eating before meeting up with her Sensei, for various reasons, one because she was hungry and two because it didn't seem like he was there. Then again she had not walked alone. Her old acquaintance Kaito had come with her. He was awfully nice to her then what she remembered him. Well wasn't that he was mean to her, he just had never seemed to care much whenever they had bee in the academy. Eventually she managed to shake him off and get him to leave. Sighing she was somewhat releived that he was gone. As much as she had enjoyed his company, it got a bit dull after a while. Not seeing him anywhere, she decided to get soem food and then head towards the springs to relax.
