"Two million! Are you insane!? Even with my business it's hard to come up with that sum of money!" His dad yelled in the phone, the loud sound of a gun being cocked now heard. "Ah ah... don't want your only son to have an early departure do you?" He was serious, the gun was loaded and he did have it up against Nicholas, even if he couldn't feel it. "No please! Don't kill him! I'll do anything you ask just don't kill my son!"
(would that work?)

(Yup.)
Leila quickly came up behind Nicholas's father and gently took the receiver from his hand. "I'm sorry, but that was not a smart move, sir," she said to the man on the other end.

"And yet, I still have a gun to the little boy's head." The man said, not at all intimidated by the girl. "The boy will die if you don't cooperate so listen up Missy. Your going to be the one who does the trade off. If I sense or see anything on you that I see dangerous, then pop goes the kids head. Of course, this is in a week though so you have plenty of time to think over your actions carefully so that doesn't happen." The man said.

Leila's eyes narrowed, though the man on the other end of the line couldn't see it. "Fine. A week." She dropped the receiver back onto its spot, hanging up. "I know where he's holding Nicholas, and they're nearby. I'm going alone, and I'm not going to bring the money that b*****d's asking for."

(Then have Mr. Alexander ask her how she figured it out. I'm not about to give away my secrets OOC.)

(Alright)
Mr. Alexander was just in shock. "Y-you do? But... how? There was no way to tell from the listening on the phone at all!" He exclaimed, still mighty confused from the whole ordeal.

Leila's eyes darted to the side for the smallest instant before focusing on Nicholas's father again. "My previous master often used me as a bodyguard. In training to do that, I found that a way to find out someone's location is to listen for an echo or discrepancy in sounds from their end of a phone line. There was a slight echo from the kidnapper's gun's hammer when he primed it." This wasn't the entire truth, as Leila didn't mention that, even when she was in her natural form, her ears were keener than that of a normal human.

"O-oh! W-well... I'll get the police to follow behind you just in case." He said to her, still wanting her to be safe.

Leila shook her head. "No. I said I would go alone, and that's what I'm going to do." She didn't want to make him worry any more than he already was, but she didn't want to risk the police deciding she needed help and Nicholas getting caught in the crossfire.

(Sorry. I haven't been posting as much as I used to on Gaia recently)
Mr. Alexander wanted to stop her, but he knew how much she cared for Nick and let her go. "Alright... Please bring my son back safely..." He said to her.

(I know. Minnta ended up having to remove you from the Titans rp because you weren't posting or replying to her when she pmed you about it.)
Leila nodded solemnly. "I will. I promise you, I will."
