Rand sighed to himself at the prospect of being forced to pass a mandatory rite before being considered eligible to attract a woman, least of all with no guarantee that he could draw on at all. "It seems as though your culture has quite the romantic light to it..." he chuckled, turning to look at Fala directly while she took her time to answer his questions. "Is there a penalty for those who don't pass your Trial? Actually what is your Trial? And what happens to those who are scorned by the woman they desire? Are they unable to seek the amorous favors of another or shall they remain bachelors for the rest of their lives?"

Rand wanted to ask more information about what else was required of the Huntress's civilization, particularly since any race that gave rise to one such as her would prove to be a subject worthy of study. Who was Lady Falathiel when left to herself among her own kind? It was an interesting topic to mull over on his own time, but he decided to bring matters back towards the present. "But I think I've asked a little too much. Shouldn't we be getting to training?"
