Cameron let out a sigh when the bludger he had hit in Corabell's direction missed her so easily, yet it was so close to the girl. When the ball spiraled back to him, the beater swung, hoping to hit Corabell once again. If the Hufflepuff keeper got out, Gryffindor would have a better chance of making goals, assuming the chasers could get the quaffle to the goalposts.

Cameron walked onto the pitch, his broom slung over his shoulder. Although only slightly longer than half the term passed, this year was a great one so far. The whole Gryffindor drama with quidditch seemed to have taken a 180 degree turn around, the team was actually doing well and winning their matches, and Cam's relationship with Elli had been going strong. As long as the seventh year passes his classes, this year would probably be the best one at Hogwarts.

The young beater walked out onto the pitch, ready for another game against another good set of beaters. Many teams this year had veteran beaters, Ravenclaw included, none better than the set of Slytherins, but he would do his best to rival them. He was young, but he had a fire for the game that unparalleled. He absolutely loved playing Quidditch and will always bring the best of what he has got to the pitch. Maybe the captain and vice both saw that and that's why he was here.

He readied himself for take off, hoping that he could get a good jump on the competition. He wanted to be the first to swing, but he didn't know if that would happen or not. He knew however, that he would be one of the firsts.
