Natsumi appeared in the dojo as she had more training to undergo. She had to further improve herself as her paranoia made her. So many different possibilities were running through her mind as to what would happen. All because a chuunin was a s**t leader and threw her under the bus, and others made false reports. So many things called into question as well as her trust for anyone in this village at this time. She was quickly greeted by a battle scarred trainer and she bowed to him. She knew him and respected him as he was one of the few trainer's that could challenge her and often taught her new things.
● Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at D-rank, C at C-rank, B at B-rank, A at A-rank, and S at S-rank. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.
● Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, assuming the user has seen the bloodline before, and approximately how large their chakra pool is.
● Resolution 2: Members of the Resolution discipline have three-quarters the range, instead of half.
● Skill: Multitasking While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost.
● Skill: Manipulation Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Reduces the Stamina cost of bow-related Bukijutsu techniques (including Formless Styles) by 10 Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina.
● Manipulating Line An addition to the technique Calling Cord. By laying a good amount of additional chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to fully control the length, direction, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for incredibly diverse attacks from all angles. Automatically applied after learning.
● Kemuri no Shikaku [ Sight through Smoke ] The practitioner grows accustomed to the way smoke flows around them and others. The practitioner's vision is no longer adversely affected by their smoke bombs.
● Offensive Style: Knife Stances The user becomes more accustomed to upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions. Speed of all Bukijutsu employing small arms is mildly increased.
● Offensive Style: Simple Play With this training, the user is able to more comfortably switch between upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions in a pinch. The user's reflexes are mildly increased.
● Trick Style: Knife Toss The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. Confers a slight reflex bonus to the practitioner.
● Offensive Style: Artless Draw The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash. Slightly increases the speed of strikes made when drawing a small weapon.
● Offensive Style: Two-fer-One The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique from this Style without paying the cost.
● Trick Style: Retreating Feet The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.
● Trick Style: Blade’s Edge The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip. Confers a slight increase to the user's reflexes. ● ● ● ● ● ●

___Kaneo wandered into the dojo with a stretch an a yawn, waving in Natsumi's direction as he passed where she was training. He was here to do training because he had no idea when they were going to get put on a mission again. The last one had come out of nowhere. He had to say he wasn't happy about not getting to enjoy Mizuki's company much since they got out of the academy.

Training by reading to avoid resource costs, which Mam said was okay. Hagane no Shunkan techs are being trained with a katana and therefore receive double training reductions.
Relatively uninterested in working up a solid sweat at the moment, Kaneo would be studying scrolls to learn his techniques, starting with Hagane no Shunkan. Caligraphy described a method of attack with the weapon that would increase its speed significantly. However it did so by sacrificing strength.[ 1 / 2 ] There wasn't really that much to it. Kaneo practiced the grip with his sword as he leaned against the wall, but it wasn't terribly complex. The next technique on Kaneo's training list was Extension. It was outwardly relatively unimpressive, simply extending the weapon's length a little. It would, however, allow his simple attacks to be treated as complex, which though unimportant to him seemed highly important to someone he couldn't quite see. Twin blades was an interesting change to the Extension technique. It conferred no bonuses, but did allow him to create a chakra blade that mimicked his own weapon's movements. Kaneo's next item was a bit of practical training, no reading here. He solved that riddle by stringing up some wire and running it from point to point in his area. After which he studied the technique described and hopped up on it. He was pleasantly surprised to find that he was able to do exactly what the scroll described when he applied what he'd read properly. Advance of Steel was an interesting technique, considering how it was portrayed on the scroll Kaneo returned to. It described itself as a state of mind, and kind of battle trance. In practice it increased the user's abilities while attacking, and it could do so without taking any time on their part if they stuck to weapon techniques during the process of performing it. Seemed a little far fetched to the Mugen, but he took time to sit and internalize its methodology nonetheless. [ 1 / 1 ] [ Advance of Steel | Rank B ]
The next technique on Kaneo's list was Brush Stroke, and it was perfect for learning while reading. It asked him to focus on the concept of his strikes. He really had to stop and think about that, if he was being honest. [ 1 / 2 ] The Mugen had spent so much time simply reacting, flowing from technique to technique without a second through. He acted on second nature normally. It would take some time to consider this stuff, to refocus how he went about fighting, and so he pondered here, leaning against the wall of the dojo. Next up on the Mugen moved on to reading about disarming opponents. This was, once again, a perfect tech to learn via study. It was, at its core, nothing but a bunch of theory on approaching the disarming of opponents, including how to catch them off guard when they haven't been focusing on their weapon as much as possible. Hydra Strike was the first true offensive technique Kaneo had come across in Hagane no Shunkan. Not that the style wasn't useful, mind you, it was just very focused on utility and fundamentals. The technique scroll described an enhancement of Twin Blades that would allow him to rapidly perform multiple strikes. [ 1 / 2 ] What was interesting to Kaneo was just how much the technique could be altered with a little effort. It seemed it could scale infinitely if he wanted it to. While it wasn't hyper impressive, the flexibility to fit his needs made it pretty damn valuable at the end of the day. [ 2 / 2 ] [ Hydra Strike | Rank B ]
Illusory Double seemed right up Kaneo's alley, and not just because he was a Genjutsu specialist. It would actually allow him to attack twice, and at an exceptional rate. What was more it would allow him to attack faster in follow up as well. [ 1 / 2 ] The scroll he was studying described the attack as a stab, not unlike the style's most basic of techniques. Through methodology though, the user could multiply that into something more dangerous, striking again in the blink of an eye. The next technique was, well, rather stupid if he read it correctly. It essentially allowed him to switch weapons a whole bunch, and do some lower level attacks in the process. There may have been a really obscure way to actually make it worthwhile, but at the moment it was beyond him and required way more thought than he was willing to put into it at the moment with only one weapon and one style. On to a new style, Kaneo finally drew his nice chakra steel knife for the first time. The first technique was a defensive tech designed to allow him fend off an attack with a well timed counter. It wasn't actually meant to do damage, but rather to ward off an attacker by making them think twice by continuing with their current path. Hopefully it would live up to its promise. The next attack was described as something akin to taijutsu technique. It was, in essence, a punch that used an element of the weapon to punch the an opponent in the damn face. So it was, at the end of the day, more of a force multiplier for a normal punch, and it was relatively simple; meaning Kaneo felt fine just from reading the techs. Kaneo rounded out his current stage of knife work with a pair of training techs, the first of which was a little bit of work getting comfortable with the weapon in his hand. He practiced moving around, attacking with simple strikes. Overall it was pretty straightforward, just the most basic of basics of stance and whatnot. The next training was meant to test his reaction, but in reality it was setting up a state of mind in how he, the fighter, responded to threats coming towards him. Carefully Kaneo practiced the steps laid out, noting items of importance in technique and theory. One stage down, one stage to go when it came to the knives, and it was becoming clear this style would be, well, stylish. This technique in particular seemed risky, but if he could pull it off it would make one of his techniques stronger, it also paired with a defensive technique, meaning he could potentially combo the move into something strong if someone came at him half-assed. Change of Hands was what the style called a "trick technique", but honestly Kaneo didn't see much to it that suggested it was a trick of any kind. In fact, the technique detailed on the scroll was quite a bit more deadly than it seemed at first blush. Though he might not need it in the future, or after he had his dream set of knives, right now it would give a nice bump to his speed and and allow him to combo into something else without wasting any movement between the two.[ 1 / 1 ] [ Trick Technique: Change of Hands | Rank D ]
The next technique on Kaneo's reading list was one called kneecap surprise. It was described as being pretty versatile but the Mugan had a hard time actually contextualizing how it was supposed to work. It was supposed to be used after Change of Hands, and would supposedly allow him to catch his opponent off guard, but he had no idea how that was actually supposed to work, honestly, or what the advantage was if you lost your weapon in the process.[ 1 / 1 ] [ Trick Technique: Kneecap Surprise | Rank X ]
The next technique would allow him to be more dangerous throwing his weapon. It would no doubt be quite the boon if he could actually get his Kinmukugan techniques to work the way he wanted. It made things slightly faster, but otherwise wasn't that special. [ 1 / 2 ] It was certainly at least less conceptually advanced than his own techniques. It in essence just used a little chakra to increase the propellant force of an attack from a weapon that was being thrown at an odd angle. Normally doing so would significantly weaken or slow the technique, but the chakra countered the fact that it was an awkward angle to give the attack enough oomph to be effective. The next technique was actually more skill training. There wasn't much to it, just juggling of the weapon, but that in and of itself would be rather harrowing. He spent several minutes bouncing the weapon in his hand before he even worked up the courage for the first attempt.[ 1 / 2 ] There was a moment where he could feel himself starting to get psyched out, watching the blade tumble through the air. And then Kaneo stuck his hand out, catching the weapon by its hilt deftly, and transitioning it directly into a roll through his fingers. He had to admit it was a bit exhilarating, the prospect of whipping something dangerous around like that. The next bit of training was one Kaneo wouldn't likely put to use much, if push came to shove and he was able to develop what he thought he would be. His chakra steel knife slid back into its spot on his side, ready for what would normally be highly useful. The training involved rapidly drawing and slashing with his weapon, so he set about to do exactly. [ 1 / 2 ] Slender fingers darted down to the hilt of the razor sharp blade. Their motion lifted up subtly, drawing the weapon from the leather strap it normally rested in. Kaneo carefully slid his dagger back into its space at his hip as he moved on to the most time consuming of his training. He needed to work on his foundation, as Mizuki had proven it quite lacking in their prior spar and he got lucky when asked to chase down a mark on the fubar mission in Hojo land. Settling into a stance with his katana, he began the process.[ C Rank | 1 / 6 ] To say Kaneo wasn't quite up to snuff was an understatement. The weapon felt heavy in his hand, and in retrospect he could tell where that got in his way earlier. In the spar with Mizuki he was slow, and in the chasedown on the island.[ C Rank | 2 / 6 ] For the moment Kaneo simply worked on becoming accustomed to his weapon, which meant carefully measuring its balance point. The goal was to figure out exactly how the weapon tipped and tilted. It'd take a while, and more combat, but this was vital for him gaining mastery of controlling the steel in his hands.[ C Rank | 3 / 6 ] Next up, Kaneo practiced large, sweeping motions. His goal was simply to maintain form throughout the process. It wasn't the most interesting thing around, but then again training never was. [ C Rank | 4 / 6 ] The next set of training Kaneo came to was movement. Moving with his weapon would be important in the future, especially if he was going to keep up with getting dragged on missions. There was nothing particularly special about what he was doing, though there was little to worry about.[ C Rank | 5 / 6 ] With the most basic training he could possibly come up with out of the way, Kaneo moved on to slashing. His moves were slow and deliberate, mainly because this was all just practice. He wanted form over everything else, and form was often ruined by speed when one got sloppy.[ C Rank | 6 / 6 ] It was time to move on to something more interesting, which meant quick movements this time. Kaneo settled into a stance choosing carefully the position of his feet and the tilt of his body. Perspiration wiped from brow, intermission is taken as water is greedily gulped down. Breathing retains it's control and even edge as heart rate begins to lower, forearms resting upon bent knees as carmine gaze scrutinizes the small congregation of new faces for the first time since they make their entries. A boy and girl, twins no less were busy training; the picturesque still frame of focus and teamwork. An odd place to seek out when training ninjutsu, but to each their own. Everybody had a comfort zone all their own, and far be it fair for Tomto to scrutinize when he himself was far from perfect.
Observation gone on too long could have possibly been misconstrued as staring; digitus maneuvering in a reserved wave coupled with grin cast towards them when eye contact is inevitably made. Best to look away now, they probably think i'm creepin'.
A newer arrival stands out as well, casually entering, taking a short moment to observe the room before diving headfirst into the task at hand... which apparently entailed loads of reading. Not one to reach out all too often, an organic punching bag was probably a far better test of skill than an immobile pile of wood and springs. Joints pop as burly frame rises, broad and bare shoulders rolling as limbs are stretched.
Those two look like they know what they're doing, so they just miiight be able to teach me a thing or two about fighting... but I dunno if I wanna catch that kind of a** beating right now. Maybe the other new guy'll be a decent scrap?
After short deliberation, the latter is decided upon. Distance between them is closed, and proposition given. "Hey, the name's Tomto. You game to train together? Maybe try and beat the s**t outta each other? It'll be fuuunnn!" Crude as ever, it was this one's method of asking for a friendly bout.

Making her way back to the grounds of the Rising Tower, Mizuki found the pond where she had begun her kekkei genkai training. Having learned a lot in her time since becoming a genin, the woman like she could advance her arts further. Finding a nice spot to sit she'd begin. [1/5] Focusing inward Mizuki looked to her natural affinities. The first was for the element of fire. The second was for the element of water. [2/5] By combining her two affinities together through her own special genes a third element could be formed. Corrosive vapor was the end result. Only possible due to her kekkei genaki. [3/5] Turning her attention to the pond, she began to call upon her chakra. Pushing it outward towards the water she gripped and pulled at a huge amount of chakra. This time Mizuki wanted to acidify the entire pond all at once. [4/5] Suddenly there was tremendous amount of turbulence in the pond as a massive churning began. In an instant the entire body of water was brought to a new state. She'd done it and in the process broadened her understanding of steam release. [5/5] [Fu Soujuu S rank]
Now that she had achieved a greater understanding of her bloodline, the time to really advance it was here. Mastering herself would be key to becoming stronger in this world. To becoming somebody worth something. [1/10] That was her dream right now. Simply to be of consequence. To that end she would train like no other. [2/10] Focusing on her chakra Mizuki would turn inward and concentrate. She needed to try and learn to utilize her chakra better. To make she only took what needed. [3/10] Focusing more and more she looked to isolate the formation process for her own steam release. In addition she hoped to find an instinct for how to use it. Just like how she originally discovered her abilities. [4/10] [Intermediate Training: Meditate] The world around her dropped away. Mizuki's consciousness expanded as her breathing slowed. She visualized her chakra within the mind's eye. [5/10] Moving it her chakra around she got a feel for it. It's weight and where it desired to go. Isolating it further she focused on the essence of boil release. [6/10] Things were becoming clearer to her now. However she needed more understanding of her self. A deeper knowledge how to employ her kekkei genaki began to form in the back of her mind. [7/10] It was a difficult thing for sure. Still she grasped at her chakra and began to pull. Bringing forth energy molded by the power of her bloodline. [8/10] [Intermediate Training: Meditate] Concentrating that chakra she brought it together. Tighter and tighter it went. Into a neat little ball. [9/10] This was it. Her power was ready and Mizuki's eye's flashed open. Flicking a drop of sweat from her brow she watched as it instantly disintegrated a nearby bush. ___Kaneo had just slid his katana back into it sheath when a voice called out to him. He hadn't expected to be bothered, honestly, except perhaps by Mizuki. She'd hoped they walked away from their private time happy, but he would never be surprised to see that woman come calling for more. Instead what he found was a new face, and one giving a rather spirited introduction at that. "Uh, sure, I guess. I could go for a spar. Name's Kaneo by the way." It was a little out of the blue, but the Mugen couldn't say he was be disappointed by the prospect of getting a little rough with another guy after that villainous Uchiha had denied him a piece of Jay earlier. "Don't mind me, if I get in a little extra training." Kaneo said as he drew a kunai and created a focus point, tossing it to a nearby vantage point, and shifting his vision into it. The golden oroboros design of his pupil deadened slightly but still followed Tomto as the Genin slid his knife out of its clip on his hip and deftly juggled it in anticipation. "I'm ready when you are, unless someone else has an inclination to make this anymore interesting." This would serve well for the purpose of training his eyes to their next level of power. Moving into the library of the tower Mizuki took a seat and began to read some more jutsu. In this case she decided to study some more academic information about suition. After several minutes of reading she found that her understanding of heating and pressurizing suiton had grown. [1/1] [ Mizu Soujuu [ Water Manipulation ] ] [resting]
To help with her relaxation Mizuki was decided to read about several level suiton techniques. In this case, a simple trick involving a flick of water. Moving on to another technique she found something interesting. This technique turned any quantity of water into a mirrored surface. Obviously this could lead to some interesting usages. [1/1] [ Mizu Kagami no Jutsu [ Water Mirror Technique ] ]
Continuing to read she found a methodology for creating a sword made of water. She wasn't exactly sure when she might actually need it though. Still it was fun to read and study the technique though. [1/1] [ Mizu no Yaiba [ Water Sword ] ] [ Resting ]
After that technique she moved on to reading about some others. In particular one that created an oil like substance which rained down from the sky and could be combined with a spark to ignite. While the clothing she had been gifted by the bloopers was rather lovely, this next technique couldn't hurt. It was a suiton which would enable her to breath underwater. This next technique was great for someone like her as it allowed her to hide easily enough. With an interesting use of chakra she could meld into a puddle or other body of water. In this way she could lose trackers or spy on foes. [1/1] [ Mizutamari no Jutsu [ Water Puddle Technique ] ] [ Resting ]
Building off of that technique there was another suiton technique which would enhance it further. While melded within a body of water this technique would allow her to reappear elsewhere on that body. Quite useful one would think, and indeed she felt it was worthwhile to study. Switching gears now she looked to learn some katon. The first technique she decided to study was rather simple. It would light up a dark place for a few seconds but not much else. Either way it's not like it was hard to figure out. [ Shoumeidan no Jutsu [ Flare Technique ] ]
Another simple trick followed that one. By clapping her hands together, Mizuki could make a simple flash of light to momentarily blind her opponent. It was really all that hard to understand and she grasped the basics of principles quite easy. [ Fukumen no Jutsu [ Veil Technique ] ]
Before getting into some of the harder stuff perhaps it was good idea to learn about ways of employing katon safely. To that end she began reading up on the subject. By the time her studies were complete she'd be able to perform them without hurting herself. [ Bounetsu no Jutsu [ Flame-Resistance Technique ] ]
Obviously knowing was only half the battle. Being able to employ active measures against heat and fire was another thing entirely. To that end Mizuki studied up on another that would be good to know. This one would create a barrier against flames and heat. [1/1] [ Taika no Jutsu [ Fireproof Technique ] ]
Finally she was able to find a meatier technique. One which would require her to actually put forth some mental effort to learn. In this case it was her favorite kind of technique. [1/3] That of course meant that it was an AoE style technique. In this case she'd exhale a cloud of hot ash that seared her opponents. After which the highly flammable ash would be detonated in an explosion. [2/3] It was an absolutely perfect technique for Mizuki to learn. While it took some to grasp the principles and practice the the hand seals she eventually got it. It was going to be a great addition to her arsenal. Desiring to continue sharpening her mind, Mizuki sought out a maruton scroll for study. Coming across a rather interesting clone to add to her collection she began reading. It was actually fairly similar to her steam clone which definitely aided in understanding the information. [1/3] However this clone apparently created a full copy of herself. Right down to the chakra network. Additionally whatever knowledge it acquired would be transferred to her own mind upon its dispersal. While this was thought to be true, the duo understood that it was only useful if they believed they'd be able to end the target relatively quickly. It limited visibility, but it also caused a general lowering of visibilty for those who couldn't see through the mist. A skill such as this one was useful for covering an escape as well. It involved using water droplets in the air, as well as a scattering of low level water chakra, to create and thicken a heavy mist. The general idea was to increase the water in the air with water chakra kneaded into all of your water droplets that you scatter about. The twins were more concerned, however with the next skill. Focusing chakra into the eyes had different effects across the ninja world. At the highest level, ninja god was said to have shaped the moon with his eyes. Some other ninja were said to somehow gain a third person perspective and accurately see anything within a mile (like what) through eye magic. This skill, however, was only good for seeing through mist. Suiton chakra in the eyes apparently let you see through ambient hanging chakra mists. This also worked on steam and the like. Useful s**t.
For the final skill, the two of them would be able, if it were ever necessary, completely change what they looked like for the sake of infiltration. For Anbu, skills like these were the literal bread and butter of not being recognized. It wouldn't do for rogue elements they worked with or against to have their actual faces committed to memory. Instead, they would want to be able to be different. This, obviously, wasn't something they would try today. Instead, it would be something that they kept the knowledge of. Most of the process of performing the technique was chakra manipulation. It was long, and laborious, requiring constant attention from the users of the skill. As she saw one of her disciples she nodded to him as he waved at her. She cracked her neck and sighed softly as she watched her other disciple come into the dojo. Her mind went over a few different thoughts before she made her way over to Mizuki. Her movements confident and elegant as she watched Mizuki train. She was so hard at work as well as Kaneo that she couldn't help but feel somewhat proud of their accomplishments so far. Given a shitty situation with shitty leaders they held their own as well as she did. She couldn't think of anything to train on so she simply watched them and approached Mizuki. Then something else caught her eye as she finally saw the twins for the first time since her mission. She never had dealt with them in person before and was curious what they were like. She made a split decision what would alter the course of history for herself.

The duo rolled up their scroll when Natsu approached them. They had ran into this girl before, and Jeon who was always happy to speak to people, took the lead in their interaction. So, standing was going to be her first move? That was unfortunately far more boring than either of the twins was hoping for. Still, Jay urged Jeon on with a nudge of his head, and the chakra they had prepared themselves lashed out quickly, likely faster than the girl figured it would. Speaking of spiders and webs, the girl launched a line of webbing out as fast as a bolt of lightning at the girl's chest. If the line were to make contact, then Jeon would be more than happy to oblige to giving her the ride of a lifetime. This, however, was not the only motion made as Jay's arm snaked out from the side and slung something like a buzzsaw at her. It shredded the air, moving along an arc outward and to the side of the girl, aiming to curve and crash into the side of her body.

Natsumi let out a soft sigh as her sensory took effect and not a moment too soon either as she watched the girl launch a web at her. It was a simpler version of the jutsu that she reinforced with her own mechanisms. Using her insane reflexes she managed to side step the spider web with relative ease. With her sensory abilities she knew that there was a shuriken launched at the same time and twirled further in the same direction with nothing short of stunning grace. She had made it look like she was dancing to the combat her opponent was providing. Her face held no emotion upon it as she looked at her foe. She had to of known that Natsumi was one to not be trifled with right? Or was Natsumi swept under the rug the moment she snapped on the Raikage. She would have to figure that portion out at a later time as for now she was facing against someone.
She began to walk around the woman in an arc that would eventually become a full circle should the twins not engage her. She was keeping her distance and testing the twins out for what they were capable of. They would have to keep their wits about them if they wanted to take someone like Natsumi on. She drew a knife in one of her hands and began to focus a jutsu within it ready to lash out at the next mistake that the twins threw at her.

● Trick Style: Retreating Feet The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.
● Trick Style: Blade’s Edge The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip. Confers a slight increase to the user's reflexes. ● ● ● ● ● ●

Starting at two [2] kilometers at E-rank, range is increased by two [2] kilometers per rank. Information gained from technique is fairly vague and limited to location and chakra capacity unless the user has the Resolution discipline, in which more detailed information such as elemental affinities or bloodline can be determined. Technique remains active until the user moves.

So the girl had good reflexes. That was fun. The duo watched her movements, deciding their test did what they needed to see. The web and shuriken collided and Jeon snatched the line as it separated from her mouth, keeping the shuriken from flying off and stabbing into some poor kid somewhere. To her credit, Jeon didn't wanna accidentally knock some kid's head off. Her ability to sense chakra went under the twin's notice: they really didn't care at all to be honest either as it wouldn't afford much of an advantage. It would tell her that another skill was in the prep stage as she walked in her circle. Jay lifted his head after performing a line of seals at the point where she would have gotten to about ninety degrees around her and a beam of lightning erupted from his hand towards her. Jeon, having also been molding her chakra, exhaled a massive amount of water, one that would likely affect everyone as enough water would flood from her mouth to fill a small pond. This combined with the lightning beam as both fired towards the girl, creating a much larger radius where there was a danger from the beam and enough electrified water that a simple sideward movement wouldn't save her. As the waterlevels rose, Jay and Jeon would allow the ability to walk atop water to bring them to the surface.

Making his way into the academy building, Shiro mounted the stairs and headed up to the private training rooms. Upon reaching the room he wanted he gathered up a list of the scrolls he wanted to work on. If he was going to hold the title of "Shadow of Lightning" he would need to have the power and knowledge to match it.
Pulling up a chair and dragging it over to a desk by the window he sat down with a sigh. Pushing open the window he light a smoke and exhaled a deep breath. Rolling open the scroll it contained the details regarding a jutsu which would allow him to send direct currents across the ground, useful, in certain situations but as always options won wars. So lazily he formed the seals and rested his palm onto the floor. With a chuckle he watched as the man across the way jumped and went all spasmodic as he was electrocuted. [1/1]
Along the same lines as the first was the following. Unrolling the scroll he set about reading the details of the jutsu to himself. While the previous would allow him to send chakra through any material this one would require water. So pulling out his canteen he emptied it onto the floor. Forming a seal he stuck his finger into the puddle and watched as smoke streamed from the water. [1/1]
Tossing that scroll aside he drew up the next one and thumbed it open. While he was starting to gather the obvious that lightning was generally used for, you guessed it, shocking the s**t out of people, he wondered as to its other uses. For instance the jutsu contained in the scroll. Concentrating his chakra into his left arm, Shiro watched as golden arcs began to sweep across the limb. Touching his left leg he noticed, quite quickly, that his leg now weighed quite a bit heavier. [1/1]
Shaking out his leg he rose to his feet and took a deep breath as he cultivated more of his chakra to prepare it for the next set of techniques. Shaking his hands he formed the seals and extended both his palms out before him. What resulted was instead of a single bolt of lightning, a stream of lightning poured from his hands streaming across the floor. [1/1]
Remaining on his feet, Shiro returned to the table and looked over the next scroll. While he personally did not really wield weapons, he knew that there would become a time when he would face someone who would, thus needing to be able to defend himself. So again, concentrating his chakra into his palm he then concentrated said chakra into his fingers and watched as an eight inch long blade of pure lightning. Separating his fingers he shook his hand and took a deep draw from his smoke. [1/1]
Exhaling the smoke he moved on to the next. While he was more then confident in his ability to defend himself in a fist fight he knew that every advantage that he could get would shift the edge farther to his side. Cultivating his chakra across his body, he quickly formed a Tori seal and pushed his chakra out of his body. The result was an array of needles shooting forth from his body to create an almost porcupine look. [1/1]
Returning to his chair, Shiro looked out the window for a time and watched the new class of Gennin training. It was interesting for him to see, they were so young and inexperienced that their basic forms for hand to hand equated basically to flailing. Returning his attention to his training he unrolled the next scroll and began to study its contents. While he debated on how to apply Raiton defensively, here it was before him. So forming the seals he used his chakra to condense the air before him into a mixture of thing clouds and arcing lightning. Waving his left hand around the shield quickly after. Interesting, to say the least. Dispersing the cloud he continued on. [1/1]
Now that he had covered the defensive portion, for what it was worth. He moved on to the offense. Taking a deep breath he formed a series of seals as his chakra permeated the air around him. With the final seal pale arcs of lightning raced through the air around him. Though within seconds the arcs condensed into ten hummingbirds which were then shot across the room exploding in small bursts of electricity. [1/1]
The final jutsu in his series, for the time being, was simply a more advanced version of one he already knew. Holding out his left hand he formed a seal with his right and began to concentrate his chakra into the left. Once he had the proper concentration of chakra he converted it into Raiton. From there he thrust his left hand out causing the chakra to launch from his hand. The beam of lightning was easily twice the size of the original, causing streams of pain and death to streak across the room. [1/1]
Taking a seat in his chair he returned his attention to his cigarette and the new students below. He could not help but wonder how long it would be before they would be sent off to battle.
