"Honestly, I would have then." Larai admitted. "I'm normally a very nice girl; I just sort of lack any sense of trust or affection in people I hardly know. It makes for much less of a guilty concience when you blackmail someone you know would have done the same in your shoes. We got to know each other, you eventually got to where you aren't that bad, so I don't see why you need to get your a** beat at this very moment."

It's kind of hard for a child to learn that there are plenty of people out there who would wish them harm and not become a little more paranoid and angry at the world." Larai admitted with a small shrug. "Then again, I guess I'm not that nice of a person after all." she half-joked with a small smile, feeling a little awkward about herself now.

It felt like it had been a while since they showed up to visit Van and Mala, but then that could have just been cave fever talking. Daemon was getting antsy stuck hiding out in the cave away from Milly's watchful eye as he lay on the second bed Larai eventually got for him. "Gah, I can't take this anymore!!" he said hopping up finally. "One little walk around town won't hurt. So long as I'm careful, no one's gonna know." he said shoving his hands in his pockets and heading out.
