((Sorry! I got antsy. sweatdrop Might I suggest Milly out on the town or something? General shopping or Daemon hunt when she finds him and cue chase scene?))

{I still don't know how to word it in the least. >.< Where am I supposed to have Larai, by the way? She's being kidnapped too, according to the dice roll.}

((*bows head* Sorry, should have okayed the timeskip and thought this through first. v.v Maybe Larai is out pickpocketing/shopping/actually doing stuff with her family zomg, comes back to find Daemon gone, goes to find him, and gets caught up in the chase?))

{It's fine. I was having trouble thinking of what to do with Milly to begin with, and I haven't quite figured things out yet. sweatdrop You know when you want to do something and you know what to do, but you can't word it well in the least?}

((Know it all too well. Just set Milly wandering about town for some reason, Daemon will run into her, and I'm sure things will snowball from there. XD ))

Milly was gazing absently at a novelty shop stand, looking over the gizmos and widgets held there. One in particular caught her eye, a small little music box, much like the one she used to have back before she met her father...

's**t!' Daemon mentally cursed as he took a sidestep into a nearby alley. Through the crowds of shoppers walking the streets of town, he spotted Milly. He just hoped she didn't spot him.

Milly, having now just snapped back into reality, could faintly feel Daemon's aura nearby. Had she not been so emotionally distressed when she visited Mala, she would have caught him then. But now, there was no panic to prevent her from stealing precious daddy that worthless son of her's back and punishing him severely for his escape. With an eerilly calm expression, she now ignored the music box and turned to face him, walking towards him, planning her revenge on his abandoning her once again...

Daemon's heart was pounding as he held himself flat against the wall, watching the crowd through the corner of his eye before he took off running into the maze of back alleys. It had been long enough that Milly found a way to drag him out of the shadows, so hiding was rather pointless.

 

[M3Gnificent]

It wasn't hard for Milly to catch up to Daemon, especially since she inheirited Daemon's many powers of shadow manipulation.

Larai was nearby when she saw this, and risking her neck in doing so, ran over to Daemon to try and help him escape. "Follow me!" she called out to him, knowing plenty of ways out of the city.

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Daemon said, quickly adjusting his path to follow Larai.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai grabbed onto Daemon's wrist once he was near enough, and went on to try and bolt out of the city as fast as possible. However, for all her speed, she was not quick enough to avoid being caught and tightly constricted by shadowy tendrils of Milly's.

"s**t!" Daemon cursed as his leg was caught as well, causing him to fall forward on to the ground before he looked back at his approaching doom. "I know it's me you want; you've got no beef with Larai!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You wish me to spare this woman? Even go so far as to claim she's done nothing as she assists in your escape?" Milly...no...Melodia asked through clenched teeth, her voice tense and venemous. In an action fueled by rage and envy, she gave a sudden jerk of her wrist, causing the tight tendrils that held Larai to smash against a ******** building. Needless to say, that sort of thing would hurt like hell - and even had the normally stubborn Larai crying out in pain. "Do not lie to my face, Daemon. Mother always knows better." Melodia's voice returned to an eery monotone, her expression now once more an eery calm. "I am not without mercy. I will let you choose how I kill her if you return. If you refuse, I'll kill you both right here and now."
