"LARAI!!" Daemon cried as he watched her slam into the wall before he lowered his head and gritted his teeth. "...Fine..." he practically spat out the words in disgust. At least if the decision was left to him, he might be able to stall until she could escape. "Just take it easy on her until then...."

((My ipod apparently does not understand drama. Stop giving me cutesy sweet bubblegum jpop and give me something dramatic and angsty, dammit! >XD ))

{I once tried to type a character's name and got 'Viagra'. Another time I tried to type 'furled' and got 'foxhole'.}

Daemon's mercy for this woman, this Larai, only upset her all the more. "You have compassion for a total stranger, but not your own mother, after all that's happened?! YOU b*****d!" she exclaimed, aiming one painful kick at his back. After this, she guasped in horror, for a moment looking incredibly guilty at what she had done. This was soon disguised with more anger, more anguish as she physically calmed - if only for a moment. "...Fine. I'll spare her...for now." she muttured, taking them all back to her mansion. Immediately after, Daemon was locked in a cell by himself and Larai in the one across from him. This was intentional, so she could abuse one and use it as a sort of psychological torture for the other while still being physically unable to help one another escape.

"Larai, can you hear me? Are you alright?" Daemon asked as he went to the bars of his cage, hoping Milly hadn't hurt her too badly earlier. He had only been tripped, kicked, and tossed in a jail cell, yet he already looked emotionally raw.

"Ughn, this would be way more of a b***h if I couldn't heal myself..." Larai replied with a weak chuckle, just sitting up and getting to it now. Thankfully, Melodia was not currently in the room - and had no clue as of yet that Larai had any magical powers to speak of. Considering Larai's strong resemblance to Van, this either suggests that Melodia is more focused on Daemon or is incredibly oblivious. "What about you? You look much worse off than me."

"I'm fine, at least for now..." Daemon said slumping down against a wall. "But when she gets like this, I'm honestly scared...." he admitted as he pulled his knees into his chest. "When you helped me escape before, I was essentially grounded. Right now she's out for blood, and fully intends to kill you. I'm the lucky one that gets to pick the method." he said grimly.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Then we will have to escape before that happens, won't we?" Larai replied, refusing to give up and escape on her own while also refusing to acknowledge the fact that she may die soon. "No offence, but she's <******** crazy. There's no way I'm letting her have her way and there's no way I'm letting her keep you locked up here while I run off."

"I'm going to assume you can pick these locks just like my previous shackles." Daemon said getting back to his feet. "Getting out of here though....Well this place is a bit more tricky. Why deal with enchanted shackles if you can just enchant the whole dungeon to keep me in?"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Then we plan. Or one of us brownnoses enough to get us both a lighter sentence." Larai said easilly, still sitting on the ground for the moment - the pain still felt in certain parts of her body too much for her to handle standing up just yet.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"If she could be reasoned with, you wouldn't be here right now." Daemon said as he looked down at her from across the hall. "You said it yourself, she's nuts."

"Then escape plot it is. Do you have any ideas?" Larai asked with a small sigh, dissappointed that she had to be reminded that they had one less option of escape.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You seem to be the expert escape artist here, I was hoping you would." Daemon said with a slight chuckle. "But when we do get out of here, you have to tell me how to pay you back later. I never thought she'd drag you back along with me, and I'm sorry for pulling you into this mess."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'll figure something out if you don't, I promise." Larai offered him a broad smile as she sat there, keeping a happy look about her as she sat in her cell. "Until then, want any minor adjustments? Picking the locks so we can put them on and take 'em off at ease? Find a way to entertain ourselves until we find a way out? Or...what?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I don't know, I'm more or less used to this by now." Daemon said with a sigh as he sat down. "She's got to come down eventually though and bring us out of here to face our doom, or whatever. That's probably as good a chance as any to make a break for it."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"There's plenty of shadow here, though. Unless you teleport us out of her pretty damn fast, not that I think that's possible if she enchanted this place to disallow such magic, we're probably screwed." Larai admitted with a sigh.
