Brianna hunkered down over her broomstick, determined to coax as much speed out of her mount as she could as she sped towards the Lions' goals. She sensed the Bludger's approach just before arrived, and there was little she could about it, other than brace for the impact. Coming down from almost straight above her, the animated flying cannonball struck her left thigh with the force of a rifle shot. Brianna let out a yelp as she felt bone shatter, while the impact caused her to spin about a couple times before she could correct it. 'Great, it's going to be one of those matches.'

So far, the match had been played well in front of Finn's position at the goals, with Roxie and Zack doing a really great job at keeping the Snakes on their backfoot. Until right then... Finn watched as this blonde-haired Valkyrie on a broomstick started her charge on his position. He watched her take a hit from a Bludger, and she only made a sound like Blannat would if somebody stepped on his paw. She waited until the last second to try shoving the ball practically down his throat, and he moved to try blocking her shot...

Roxie watched with a frown as Brianna threw hard past Finn. He had no chance at stopping her, but he did pass over to Roxie. "Good try, Finn!" Lovely. Her arm twinged in pain as she caught the ball, but the show must go on. The blonde held the Quaffle tight and took off, headed toward the Slytherin goals with hopes of evening the score.

Seb powered on, knowing he had to beat Csuri. If she got to the snitch, she'd likely take it right in front of him. Even when he heard a cry of pain from the girl, Seb bit his lip and pressed on, forcing himself not to offer help. He had to win this and maybe help her later.

Csuri leaned forward, adding a bit more speed as she tried to catch up to the shorter Gryffindor. As she was closing the gap, a bludger swung from out of nowhere, catching her off guard as it slammed into her shoulder from behind. She let out a pained scream, sinking on that side and causing her flight to bank right. With a careful shift, she held her left arm tight against her still aching abdomen. Csuri blinked back tears as she pressed forward. Maybe, just maybe she could manage a catch and end this nightmare game.
