__ Kenshin entered the area of the academy and dojo for the purposes of training. He became much stronger and more experienced from his many missions completed with the KPD. Now he needed to refine his abilities. Once he entered his pearl eyes glanced over and saw the raikage. He stood to the side because he did not wish to interrupt his conversation with the others. He wanted to speak with him and give him his report on his progress from within the KPD as an update. The sentinel walked towards the racks of bukijutsu, ninjutsu, and genjutsu scrolls and glanced through them as he waited to be called on by Shiro.

Artemis put her hands together, summoning her wind element. Her chakra emerged by sliding down her skin, moving in odd patterns as if tribal tattoos. Then she manipulated the wind in front of her through a spinning dance, flower petals intermingled and flying erratically. She felt the urge to see her petals fall to the ground. She bent herself in half and rested her fingertips on the ground. She was in a running pose. Utilizing her chakra for a speed boost, she zoomed out of the training area and into the outside world. She stood there for a few moments, enchanted by the sight of petals falling. So they would both need time. Letting out a heavy sigh he pulled up two maps from the desk and set them on top before unrolling them. Gesturing to the group to come forward he set about drawing a series of lines upon the map,"To understand the gravity of this mission, you need to understand the entire geopolitical situation we find ourselves in. The UHV have gained control over pretty much eighty percent of the continent. Their ideology is dangerous and spreads like wildfire. That being said there is a limit to their grasp. By spreading their forces so thin they have left holes in the line, and in the rear. The information I recently gained points to an opportunity we will not pass up."

Atsuko considered the plans for a few moments. All of it seemed rather in line with what he had in mind. However a few details that he mulled over stuck to him.
"If I could make a slight suggestion. If we are to head to Takumi first and go from there I would suggest that I take my own team on either a seperate boat or route entirely. As of now the Shishin has a few contacts already so its best if we are seen traveling as we typically do. On top of this it keeps your other team safe from suspiscion of any alliance between us.
Outside of this I also would state that I'd like to see the majority of the resources purely funneled to your anbu team. The shishin have our own ryo and for the time being if this is to be untraceable then we shouldn't be seen with a sudden spike of resources.

Houou smoothly strolled into the Dojo hoping to see some entertaining display of Taijutsu. He himself had no formal training in any specific notable styles, his father simply trained him in the art of ruthless tactics and forms of poisoning, something he hadn’t even shared with any of shishin. The twins moved to the table Shiro was at, Jeon hopping onto her brother's back and hanging from him like he himself was a tree. Jay, unbothered by the weight, simply crossed his arms and observed as Shiro drew his lines. Some of this he knew, most of it the twins were oblivious to. Their skin crawled but not like with insects. They weren't unnerved but rather angry. That crawling feeling was literally fire searing along the somewhat pale skin below black robed clothing. It was a physical scale model of their enemy's holdings in the world, and it really cemented in just how much there was.
And also how little.
The area around their scars was particularly hot as they listened to Shiro and watched him pull up a map of Gimangakure. Hino passed Jeon a map, and Oro provided a pen. The message was clear, and she closed her legs around her brother's midsection and began taking personal notes for them in their native tongue. There was a lot to manage and keep in mind. Criminal elements were important to know about, and while there Osiris would be smart to learn of these people, maybe do more than just give them money to fund a proxy war. Having strong friends could turn to their advantage where clandestine ops were concerned, especially if they could keep them all in some semblance of order. It was known that elements like theirs, operating outside of moral and lawful borders, could do serious damage to any side in combat. This would be a great first step towards that end... and towards learning where sleeping dogs lie should they step out of line. All in the name of bringing down the enemy who had hurt them and now their people. To that end, Jay marked something on the map where the land of swamp was located without speaking. Shiro knew where they were from, and the X over the territory was a small correction with a large set of repercussions.
That aside, all four of them turned their heads when Atsuko spoke and seemed to nod a bit to his ideas. He wanted to go alone, which came from a smart space of thinking if he was being honest. His reluctance to accept money to keep things as untraceable as possible was smart. The leader of the anbu squad, Hino, spoke up from behind his dragon mask. "I agree with you, though the money and weapons aren't for us. They're to arm the Yakuza and Mafia, assuming those two jackasses are still at it there in the village of lawlessness," he said though there was no contempt at all in his voice. He spoke again. "Perhaps, it would be wise to bring the non uhv groups together and form a pact of armistice among all of them in order to placate them. Concessions promised to get them to work together against the UHV. Arming some and paying them from our own coffers will sustain the effort, sure, but not for as long as I think is most efficient," Oro then spoke from behind a mask like an open snake mouth. As he spoke, there was a low whistle that would likely draw out irritation from the dragon and it wasn't entirely intentional. Jeon spoke next, much to the surprise of everyone, with confirmation and insight. "If Atsuko can bring his group too as if they are neutral parties, or if he can liaison on their behalf if we only invite the heads of the groups, he could further influence the meeting in our collective favors. Unifying differing fighting styles and methods of conducting warfare such as they all are apt to have should make the mostly homogenous UHV military force need back up. They'd have to draw in the big guns and shinobi conscripts." Jay followed her up. "Likely, on top of all of this, is the chance that Oto's Sgt named in the report from Endaishima's interrogations could be roped in. It's a long shot, but worth mentioning. We have a few things to prepare ourselves, but I think we could be ready to ship out by day's end as well." A plan formulated within the minds of the group at large fairly quickly, and one Atsuko stood to gain from for his Shishin as well. Status with the other groups, less UHV in his zone, less of his own men doing less work. So long as he gave the twins no reason not to trust him, they'd be equally invested in seeing them succeed against their enemies and beyond that just to live.
The UHV took too much of that option from too many already.

~Current Theme Music~:Buoyant Boogie- Splatoon 2 "Is this where the intro to fuuinjutsu class is being held? Toso would ask the two anbu standing in front of the debriefing room. Toso having never truly taught a 'class' before and having been allowed leave of the hospital had gotten admittedly lost trying to find the room he was supposed to be substituting. Naturally as luck would entail he happened to wander himself in front of the debriefing room. The two anbu remained stale faced at his question. Naturally Toso wouldn't know the password so this only led to him asking again. "Ah, you see I'm filling in for a teacher, you see. Administration directed me towards here bloop. Suffice to say it would probably reflect badly as a teacher to be late for the class he is supposed to be teaching bloop." Toso would say equally stale faced but tilting his head in a manner. Usually his tentacles would prove to be the thing that provided emotional reveal but low they were gone for now.
Likewise without having heard the password the anbu remained silent. Albeit the one on the left pointed in a direction to the right which led to another hall around the corner. He would then raise four fingers. Toso would gather that this meant the fourth room down said hall. Toso nodded understanding the instructions. "Ah, bloop. I should hurry then." Before he departed however the teaching material administration had given him haphazardly held in his right arm would spring a leak so to say. A phial of ink would begin making a distinct trail of black and perhaps a slippery booby trap to whoever left the briefing room first.
Entering the room Toso would be met with the faces of several youngling nin all causing a ruckus. Toso however, seemed oblivious to the noise and nonsense. Needless to say his entrance being the type of person he was had been so underwhelming the students likely didn't even realize he had arrived. After a brief cough the academy students calmed down to see the man with an organized desk. Only now would he realize the ink he had with him had gone empty. This of course was no problem as he rose the well to his mouth and with minimal effort filled it with his own. This of course lead to a sudden pointing by a young student about how the teacher 'vomited' and raucous laughter. Of which he would allow...for the moment. 1/1 [ 1 Used ]
However, suffice to say Toso would make a big wet slap on the board with an ink covered brush. He couldn't let these kids get the best of him and said slap would cause them all to jolt in their seats to attention. Toso readjusting his glasses as the glare of a no nonsense teacher reflected in them he'd begin his lesson "Now then. Can anyone tell me the difference between Kaifu no jutsu and Funyu no jutsu bloop?...None of you bloop? Alright then, well. Kaifu no jutsu bloop......" So began one detailed lesson on the topic of fuuinjutsu. 1/1 [3] Used
As Shiro debriefing continued so would Tosokurui's lessons. Despite requests for demonstrations Toso refrained in order to keep his physical health from deteriorating. At the same time he would not sit idly by after having felt like he failed as some semblance of a leader on Endaishima. There was no better way of developing better leadership skills than teaching. While it took him some time to gain command of the class they'd eventually yield to squid-sensei as he made sure to add several visual aids that were pleasing to the eye in order to teach them. 1/1 [3 Used]
The final lesson likely would come when Shiro intended to wrap up his debriefing. In a fates would have it sort of manner when the debriefing would end would synchronize with when Toso's class would end. How long that would be would be anyone's guess. But until then Toso's lesson continued in an in depth detail that would likely have made anyone in this class heavily consider specializing in fuuinjutsu. Suffice to say Toso himself found himself most comfortable teaching this subject...and likely this would begin his specialization on the subject matter. 1/1 [3 Used]

They bear even more of a resemblance to their pacted brethren in the sense that limbs produced this way do not have digits and are instead nubs not unlike tentacles. • This Technique can be trained up only to the user's maximum body rank. It can then be retrained at each body rank increase the number of limbs. • Each Rank of [ Many Arms of the Squid ] confers an extra appendage that may extend from one's back, sides, or neck. The appendage is retractable capable of hiding within the body and may extend up to 10 yards away from the body. If Tomoto was still in a functional state they'd call it a draw, but for now the lithe man grabbed a fist full of shirt as he sat back, looking around for Mizuki and her inevitable relief for the pain in his chest.

Powerful strike sends the decoy hurtling back to earth, wooded fibers smacking against the ground; splintering though the body as a whole remains intact. From a separate point opens the void to some unknown hell. Within it's swirling midsts the faces of those who had found him and provided hearth and home screaming within. A sister long ago cast out and forsaken, yet still cared for deep down... and oddly enough a fourth face. One framed by lustrous platinum and a set of deep gold irides that seemed to pierce his soul as she pleads for salvation. Oddly enough, it was this last vision that wrenched at heartstrings the most, a solid lump forming just below adam's apple at the sight.
Each came in and out of view as ever shifting darkness concealed them, but the need for aid was urgent enough to spur him into instant action. Monkey see monkey do, and one of the forcefully dismantled training targets takes his place to satisfy grasping tendrils as they switch positions; safely maneuvered away from wind torpedos as a byproduct of the hasty dodge. Now that he was on the ground, only one solution was feasible in this situation.[1/4] It would have to be swift and direct... For who knew how long those within that ravenous maw of emptiness could survive? Atsuko stood once the meeting was ended, so to speak, and gave a bow to both Shiro and the anbu. Before he left however he reached into his coat and brought out a communicator, the last one he had one him, and tossed it to the anbu. "Here. We can talk through the main channel, I'd suggest only using it if we have critical information. I don't need to know if you are using disguises or not but know none of my Shishin will likely outside of their masks, which I don't wear myself." Atsuko said giving a short explanation. After this he'd be out the door in a hurry, excited to get things under way.
Once outside of the dojo once more he could see Asumo sniffing the air, as if catching familiar scents nearby. Getting onto the comms he'd use his private channel to say "Phoenix, Turtle, meet me in front of the dojo. It's time to move out". As houou watched, unimpressed by the current bouts, he began to think of Roxas and his supreme hand to hand combat skills l. After seeing a true master in battle, it was hard to be impressed by such a display.
Suddenly Atsukos voice rang through the communicators. It seems that they were both in the dojo... however, Atsuko was not in the main training arena. Houou swiftly, unfolded his arms and made his way for the entrance. Just to the left of the exit on the outside of the dojo, houou leaned against the buildings wall and placed both hands in his pockets. Peering through his hand crafted turtle mask that he seldom removed, houou scanned the area for his comrades to appear. The outside was quite crowded but houou managed to spot Atsuko fairly quickly. Walking over, houou quickly placed his hands together and formed the snake seal, suddenly Atsuko would feel his mask shrink and all but disappear. Only to quickly reappear out of his sleeve as a small wooden dragon, similarr to Asumo. Twisting and twirling around Atsukos hand, the wooden dragon finally settled inside of the palm of his hand, giving a small but ferocious roar towards the sky, before returning to the the exact form it had originally taken, that of the leaders dragon mask. Houou intended for this to be a sign of his presence... but he’d be lying if he wasn’t trying to vonfuse the young Atsuko.
Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation ] B-rank Ability This control allows the Senju to bonsai existing vegetation as though it were rapidly growing. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were free from the ground. It should be noted that one can also manipulate wood they themselves have made, and it must be done while holding a double hand seal. Additionally, any wood that is being freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be broken or shattered as if it were completely natural, making it a poor choice for attacking or defending with.
