Jump turned his eyes to Bill's body, then up to Kiedis. Still atop Blastoise, Kiedis merely smirked and rose an eyebrow. Jump's eyes finally returned to Kero's. A wide grin appeared on his face.
"I'm gonna take the long way home," he told Kero while bringing his xtransceiver up to his wrist. "Comet Number 1, this is Supafly. Requesting a pickup at my location...Are you serious? How long?...fine, fine..."
Jump hung up and took a seat on a boulder that had been unburied from the sand thanks to the battle. "My ride will be here in like ten minutes. Can you tell the guys at HQ that I'm also gonna need a robot suit? No weapons, though, just nice speakers. With really good bass."

Kero ignored Jump. Instead he looked at Kiedis, who still sat upon his ride back. As he was loading up Jean-Pierre by setting the man upon the back of Blastoise, helmet at his side, he said, "Torkoal are better for land travel, Blastoise for sea."
Of course he was talking to Kiedis - Jump just wasn't a cool enough guy.

Kiedis jumped out of the driver's seat of the turtle onto the ground, allowing Kero to take back the wheel. He nodded thoughtfully at Kero's advice, then turned to Jump. [Can we get a Torkoal?]
"Well, does it get good mileage? How about safety features? You're not thinking about hydraulics too, are you? Spending hundreds to make your car bounce is so stupid." [...it's a turtle, Jump...] "Okay, I'll think about it. Maybe there's a dealership in Castelia we can look at." [A turtle dealership?]
Jump changed his focus and looked up at Kero on the back of Blastoise. "Hey, can I ask you something? Why did you pick me for this mission? I kinda always thought you hated my guts." And if he didn't the night before, he certainly must have after. Jump couldn't even imagine what Kero would do to him if he actually managed to sleep with Elysia. Not worth it, toooootally not worth it.

"I didn't choose you," Kero said. Blastoise began to rumble, water storing up for the journey ahead. "There is no like or hate, just orders."
And then Blastoise was off, with Kero on board, controlling the turtle like a pro.

((welcome back Ava!))
"So, whats your plan for beating Burgh?" Hiba said, taking a bite of his Tauros Steak, Some A-1 dripping from his lip.
"Dunno" Takamaru shrugged pushing his fork around his Alfredo pasta. "He uses Bug type Pokemon So ill deffeinetly be using Saria for the Type advantage."
"and i dont think Lancer would be a Very good choice, he's not comfortable battling yet." Piped up the other Takamaru.
The Real Tk nodded in agreement. "That leaves Spike and Iron Hide." He finished, leaning back in his chair.
"I could lend you Blaze." stated Hiba, finishing off his food.
The Doppelganger Tk shook his head. "Nah, we wanna use the Pokemon we've raised on our own."
"You mean that I rased on MY own" the real Tk said, causing his Doppelganger to sigh.
"When are you gonna get that there is no you and me, only us. Were one in the Same." doppelganger Tk said before going back to his straw to sip the last of the contents before purposely making that annoying sucking sound that you get when you try to drink liquid from a Stray when there's no Liquid to drink.
The real Tk merely shook his head and rolled his Eyes.
"Right, well i think its time for you two to head off towards your battle" Hiba said, followed by a mighty belch, Followed by him slapping down the Bill money.
"Arnt you coming!?" Both Tk's Said simultaneously.
Hiba shook his head. "Nah, no reason for me too come. So ill just meet up with you in Nimbasa." Hiba said throwing Blaze's Pokeball into the air. The Large Canine Pokemon materialized with a mighty bark as a greeting to his trainer.
"Right, dont be too long." Hiba said, jumping over the railing of there outside eatery, Mounting Blaze.
"We wont!" Both Tk's called after Hiba as blaze took off towards the Desert.
"right, Lets head for the Gym" The real Tk said, His doppelganger nodding in agreement.
It didn't take them long to reach the gym. Both enteering the Gym, Looking around and taking in there surrounding.
"Is..Is that honey!?" The doppelganger Tk said, Pointing at what looked to Be a Wall of Honey.
"I-I think so" The real Tk replied, taking a closer look.
"do you think they want us to go through it?" asked the Doppelganger TK.
"Dunno, but i don't plan on it, how bout' we go over?" the Real Tk said, it was more of a statement.
"what do you plan on doing?" the Fake TK asked, though he had a pretty good idea on what his original was going to do based off his mischievous grin.
"Just follow my lead!" the real Tk said before taking off at the solid wood wall left off the honey wall, Jumping, he'd push off the solid wood wall and launch himself over the honey wall. his doppelganger following Suit. Using this mean they'd make there way to Burhg with out ever having to touch a drop of honey.

At some point between Wukong biting his arm and a springy leg wrapping around his head, Wayne was overcome with a strange feeling. It was like the sudden pains that almost crippled him yesterday, but much less intense. Instead of his brain almost bursting into flames, it just felt like a powerful buzzing sensation and he understood exactly what Sal was talking about.
The rush of spirit, bringing out blazing willpower in the form of flame. He got it. It was like he'd done it a thousand times before. As he shoved Hitmonlee off him, the pokémon jolted back and their pupils flashed blue simultaneously. Like they'd been shocked by electricity.
Wayne was free of the pokémon; Hitmonlee started cradling his head, dazed but still agitated.
[You... what did you-] "Dude," Wayne looked earnest, "use Blaze Kick. Seriously."
Hitmonlee stood up, frowning. He didn't really know how to use Blaze Kick, but it was like his body remembered. Like a kid who'd never seen a bike before just hopping on and riding around, Hitmonlee brought his leg up and it burst into flame. The pokémon stared as the fire licked at his leg; it didn't hurt him at all, but he could feel the heat. He kicked away, sure of his movements enough to know he wouldn't spray any of the humans with flames.
The technique dissipated, and Wayne started grinning.
"That. Was. Awesome!"

Jump and Kiedis
Jump watched as Kero flew away, expertly driving. "Yeah, okay," he responded to a Kero too distant to hear him. "Great working with you too."
The Interpol Agent kicked at the sand in front of him. "a*****e. And I was gonna invite him to Interpol's annual BBQ."
Now, he just had to wait for his ride to show up.
Salieri
Salieri grinned, not batting an eye as Hitmonlee whipped a flaming leg in front of her. "See, what did I tell you? Bam, fire leg." She put a hand on her hip and looked down at Wukong proudly. "He's a natural, isn't he? That's good ol' Del Forrest training for you."
The Monferno absentmindedly nodded in agreement, looking on at Hitmonlee. That was easy, much easier than he thought possible for a non-Fire type to learn that move. Liuye Dao, who up until now only glanced over from his vigilant patrol of the desert, watched the whole display. It didn't show on his expressionless face, but the Pawniard was similarly impressed.
The Battle Girl hadn't ever seen a Hitmonlee learn the technique so quickly, but thought little of it other than pride. "That should go a long way against Burgh. Is Blaze Kick the cornerstone of your strategy?" She wasn't trying to mock it. Sal herself had used two pokemon weak to Bug when logic told her it was a bad idea, but did it anyway because she knew she could win.

Wayne
He shrugged, "I guess it's a cornerstone? Last time we tried too hard to get direct hits on him, and he managed to set up his pokémon. By the time he was done with that, he was way too fast and strong to beat.
"So this time, we're gonna use moves like Vacuum Wave, Blaze Kick and Earthquake to do damage even if he dodges the actual kick. He's good, but unless he whips out a Beedrill or something, I don't think he's going to win."
He put his hands behind his head and grinned. Wayne didn't really feel like telling anyone about what just happened. Not yet anyway. He couldn't figure out if it was Aura or just his imagination. But if it was Aura? He had to learn how it worked, and fast.
"Besides, it's not like I forgot about our bet. Even with crazy shizz-wizz happening all over the place, I'm still gonna get eight badges before you do."
---
Tess
Just what she wanted to hear. Her baby cousin had hardened after her experiences, but Tess was surprised at just how much. She definitely thought there would need to be more convincing.
"Good. But so you know, learning Aura is far from a simple process. You've used it instinctively so far, but controlling your Aura is something else entirely."
Tess stood up, indicating that Henrietta should do the same. "But just because I asked if you wanted to stay, it didn't mean we should stay here." The waiter wasn't looking, "Now quick. Out, out, out, out!"

Wait, what? Henrietta hadn't even finished her milk. Setting it down she looked at Tess. With the rushed sort of feeling she got from it, she felt she couldn't wait long. But, wait, she was serious?
"T-tess," she complained but she was already getting up herself and, if Tess went, she'd follow her outside.

"Yeah. Riiiiiiight." Salieri rolled her eyes and waved away the notion. "That Dream Mist must have hit you too hard in Nacrene, cause that's just crazy." She just witnessed one of her pokemon evolve yesterday, plus she got the badge this morning. Even with all the problems she had been encountering with her pokemon, herself and her brother, she was on a roll. Not to mention what Jump had told her about Aura.
"Hey." Salieri looked around to make sure Wayne was the only person around. Not for the same paranoid reasons that Liuye Dao was watching over them, but because if she really did have superpowers, she didn't want just anybody knowing that right away. Not until she figured out what they did.
The Battle Girl took a step closer to Wayne, smirking up at him. "Do you want to see something cool?"

Wayne
He looked suspicious.
"You're not gonna Ice Kick me are you? Cause that's sort of happened before. Only without the kick. It was an Ice Beam." He almost shivered. "Oh, but yeah. Show me the cool thing, please."
---
Tess
She led Henrietta down the street, ducking into the crowd before anyone from the shop noticed they'd gone. Tess needed somewhere private, where it was unlikely anyone would just walk in.
So she stopped near a staircase and brought out her Flygon.
"Alright, get on," she said, swinging a leg over the pokémon's neck and keeping tight hold of a leather binding around its neck, "grab my waist. We're going rooftop shopping."
As soon as Henrietta did as she was told, Tess would take them skyward. And, after finding an empty rooftop, she'd set them down for some old fashioned tutelage.

And now they were on a rooftop. Henrietta looked around, brushing hair behind her ear that would otherwise be victim to the wind. "So Aura," she said in a tone that implied she was all too eager to learn, "is something this whole city can use now?" An entire city of super powered people. She couldn't even imagine it.

"No, not an Ice Kick. Not a Blaze Kick either. I don't really know what it is."
She took a few steps back and stood up straight. Closing her eyes, Salieri slowly held her arms out at her sides. "I was training yesterday. Shaolin monks visualize their blood running through their veins, and eventually learn how to feel it. So I was doing the same thing, and then that thing happened. When the sky turned orange..."
She opened her eyes and looked at her arms. The veins were fully visible, glowing a shiny digital blue. Salieri slowly moved her arms to examine her hands. The effect had extended to them, too. "It's like I can see where it's going. My blood, I mean. It feels weird."
And then it stopped. Salieri felt a sharp pang of a headache that was over just after it occurred, and a tiny drop of blood fell from her nose. The Battle Girl wiped her nose with the back of her glove.
"Pretty cool, huh?

Tess
"A city full of corporate drones using Aura. Are you joking?" Tess, folded her arms, hair flapping in the wind, "Aura exists inside of everyone. When called upon, it manifests as a reflection of that person's soul. Aura skills are unique, as if your soul had a fingerprint.
"But to initially call upon Aura, you first need to attain a certain amount of peace with your true nature. The wave yesterday seemed to bypass that need. But not for everyone. My best guess is that those who have close bonds with pokémon have been able to trigger their Aura abilities more readily. When needed, as opposed to when wanted."
Pokémon were effectively living batteries of Aura. It was used in their most basic faculties; water generated by Water Gun, for instance, was a manifestation of Aura. After a while, the 'water' would fade away. If it didn't, then the laws of conservation of mass would be irreparably violated and the planet itself would collapse. Manipulating Aura would thus come readily to pokémon, even if they needed special training to take it to the next level.
A loose smile formed on Tess's lips. Vanished when she started to speak: "Already, the glow caused by yesterday's shockwave has started to fade. I'm fairly certain that anyone who hasn't managed to activate Aura by sunset will have to go right back to basics. You, on the other hand, needn't worry. You've already activated your Aura. You're on fire, Humrietta."
She brought her hand forward, beckoned twice with her fingertips. "Now. Show me what you've got."
---
Wayne
"Whoa..." Wayne peered his head right around as Sal started to glow. That was so freaky, yet she seemed in control, so it was cool. "You're like, a cyborg or something. Except not made of metal."
He beat his fist into his palm. "I bet that's Aura! Life force and stuff. And, uhh... I forget the rest."
