((Hmm... you can have Damien head back to his office to wait for Monica, and then stop by Jian's office to say 'hi' while he's working. And maybe I could have Jian make a jest that puts that idea into Damien's head. xd ))

"Bah! Now I'm really behind in my work!" Damien grumbled and headed back down to his office. He stopped by Jian's door and knocked to see if the Chief General was in.

"Yes?" Jian asked before getting up and opening the door to see Damien. "Hey! What a pleasant surprise. I just got the news." He said, as if inviting him in the office.

"Yeah, that was a bit of an ordeal. I'm not sure how someone was able to sneak in and disguise himself, but it seems we'll have to beef up security even more" Damien said.

"Really? We had one of those? That's surprising. Monica's usually on top of stuff like that. Did you send Shadow off to the research facility then?" Jian asked.

"No, not at the moment. She somehow got a gun and held it to her own head, threatening to blow her brains out unless she got a few concessions. She'll be held in a cell in the jail and interrogation section, but not for long. I plan on moving her to the experimentation camp anyway. This was just to get her to comply. We cannot risk another intrusion. Besides, the quicker we get this immortality serum extracted, the sooner I can get on with my plan of inserting a tracking device in her to follow wherever she goes. By the way, how goes the punishment on the doctor that was supposed to be doing this in the first place?" Damien stated.

"The doctor? Oh, he was handed over to the secret police for interrogation." Jian replied. "But I've got to be honest with you. For a second there, I thought you were going to say she wanted to move in with you or something else that seems way out there." He jested.

Damien thought for a second. "Hmm" he said, tapping a finger on his chin. "Well, she won't be going into my apartment. Those are still high tech secrets. However, maybe I could pay a couple of visits in her cell..." he mentioned.

"Who knows. Maybe she'll tell you about all of the people slacking off behind your back again." He shrugged. "I figure she's going to get bored in there anyway, and that is what she does for a living. Of course, you probably have something else in mind, don't you? Is she your type?"

"You know I'm not that picky" Damien said to Jian and gave him a wink. "We'll probably keep her in there a few days and then move her to the special part of the camp that we had originally planned. Besides, she asked my to bring her her food personally, so I suppose that means she wants to get to know me" he chuckled.

"Fair enough." Jian replied with a chuckle. "I suppose that means she does. It's like she's asking you on a date in her holding cell. What an odd request though... I would think she would have something more basic on that list, like a decent bed or something, unless that was one of her requests too."

"She just wanted to be put in a place where I could have easy access to her holding chamber. Where would be easier than in the place where I work every day? Besides, I don't think she's aware of the underground apartments. She probably just assumes that she's being held here because that means I don't have to go out of my way to see her" Damien said.

"I guess she's really into you." Jian replied with a smirk, then suddenly, his eyes lit up. "Unless maybe she didn't want to be moved, and she knew that request would allow her to stay here or somewhere nearby. You might want to make sure she doesn't have a tracking device on her. With that request, her friends could easily try to take her back and take you down at the same time." Jian said with some concern.

Damien's face changed a little. "Hmm, you could be right. Though, I'm sure the doctor's thoroughly inspected her to make sure. Still, when that mysterious person tried to break her out, he may have slipped something in her. I suppose you're right. We may need to give her an examination to make sure" the Absolute Leader said.
