Invisible and silent Sephiroth went from the roof of one building to the next retracing his steps until he ended up near the temple entrance he believed he had come from. He saw a red armored creature leave it and he quickly ducked down in case the elite could see him anyways. Once it had passed he flew up high to see if he could spot the girl if she was out already and when he did he inwardly groaned because there was a tendril next to her and that elite was heading her way.

"To be honest I didn't notice a significant difference in the amount of time I needed for sleep with those spheres out the last time." Veni left and made a false trail further into the cave. On his return he made the area seem more dark and took on another form and hid himself before he went to sleep.

Xun nodded at this, frowning behind his helmet. He was displeased, but what happened couldn't be helped. They soon came to the large, cavernous pit the heroes had crossed, and he couldn't help but frown again.

"We'll need to leave behind the ice creature, at least until we manage to make it to the other side and track them down."

He turned his attention towards said ice golem, and handed it a small charm.

"When I call for you, you will break this. It will open a portal, and you will come through it."

The ice golem grunted in the affirmative, storing the portal charm inside of it's icy chest. With this done, Xun dived off the cliff, his armor causing black tendrils to protrude out of his shoulders as they weaved and twisted around each other, forming leather-like wings. Xun swooped up from his plummet, and turned to face Alpha and Adur, hovering in place, his wings gently flapping and pushing air away.

Tendrils emerged from his sides and wrapped around his allies' waists, holding them aloft in the air with some minor effort... the golem creature would've been too heavy.

"Come... let us seek out the intruders. Be alert."

Xun nodded.

"Now would be an excellent time actually, instead of just a little later."

And the vampire like character carrying her suddenly started to run away fast in a direction for some unknown reason which meant he couldn't be as cautious in following as he would like to be...

Xun speed through the air like a bullet, falling only a little short of Rosemary's vast speed. Where Rosemary took a third of the day to get to where they were, Xun would take roughly a third and a half, to two thirds. Keeping his eyes on the road, so to speak, he stared straight a head, flapping his massive wings.

"If absolutely need be, I can perch on one of those small cliffs, or even on a wall for a time, but I feel confident in my ability to fly for up to at least two days straight. What I have beneath my skin, given to me by our Lord, considerably lowers the cost of effort and energy required for my flight..."

Doing as Veni said, the group scrunched up against each other as well as they could in the small cavern. Jacob of course had his vampires against him, while Milaku, Fal'jenul, and an imp or two were huddled into each other. Viewing out from the darker back end that faced the opening, was Thas and the rest of the imps, squished like sardines.

Frowning a bit, Johnathon picked up one of the spheres and gave it a small jolt, doing the same with the rest. Soon the energy output for healing and restoring alertness and such increased highly, while the spheres seemed to be loosing color. He glanced outside before decided it would be safe to whisper.

"That should work. They weren't giving out their energies at their highest. When we reach the outside, we'll have to leave them exposed to the less than stellar daylight outside to recharge them somewhat."

Johnathon noticed that most of the energy at the moment was going towards Rosemary to try to coax her out of her slumber gently, the energy soothing her exhaustion and weariness. The more energy sensitive members of the party noted this as well, Jacob helping it along slightly by enhancing it with necro-essence.

Fal'Jenul meanwhile had time to reflect, something she didn't quite want at the moment with this moments rest. Her colorful fog rose up to her face... her eyes were tearing up slightly at the concern for her dear son. She would rather be possessed again by Jiluzix then have him face whatever horrors there may be alone.
