Cloud accepted ed the bottle, putting it away in his backpack. He would probably give it away, he had the Raikage in mind. He looked over at Alex who seemed to be getting drunk, " What do you plan to do now. "
PostPosted: Thu Mar 31, 2011 12:02 am
he shrugged."well train some more man. you showed me where i was lacking and need to get better. what about you?" he took another mouthful easing the pain.

" All I need to do is complete some more community service to become a chunnin so I pan to go finish that up. " Cloud looked away and started to leave, only waiting for Alex's reply.

Cloud walked away with his hand in the air, a wave good-bye.

Cloud Hari

Cloud entered the building and found a quiet spot to finish his training at. As he walked towards the spot he decided to train, he looked for the Raikage. He needed to talk to talk to he about advancement to Chunnin, but he first wanted to finish training. After he spotted her he prepared to train.

Attack Redirection: Lower Body

Cloud got into his regular fighting stance. He imagined an imaginary foe to attack. This technique should be easy to perform since it was just a different version to one of the techniques he already knew.
(1/6)

The opponent ran at Cloud, in a way that showed he was about to attack. The opponent performed an upward kick. Cloud easily sidestepped and prepared to counter.
(2/6)

Cloud grabbed the opponents leg then pivoted himself. After the pivot he yanked downward and slammed the foe into the ground. The foe rolled on the ground leaving himself open for attack.
(3/6)

Cloud unimagined the foe since he could have already won. He imagined another foe who did the same thing. Cloud also did the same thing without any problem.
(4/6)

This time Cloud imagined a foe who did a sidewards kick. Cloud side-steppe so he was beside the foe. He then grabbed the foe's leg and yanked him to the ground.
(5/6)

He performed the technique again and again, making sure he could perform it perfectly. He imagined fighting different foe's for some time. Once he was done, he oud perform the technique easily.
(6/6)
(Attack Redirection: Lower Body learned)

Hummingbird's Flight
Cloud took out a kunai and threw it at a practice dummy. He walked to the dummy, pulled out his kunai, and carved a bulls eye mark on its chest. He then walked back and prepared to throw the kunai again. He threw it with hitting the mark perfectly.
(1/6)

He retrieved the kunai again and walked back farther then he was before. He threw the kunai and hit with perfect accuracy. He walked up and retrieved the kunai and walked back farther then he was before. He prepared to throw the kunai.
(2/6)

He threw the kunai once-more and hit with perfect accuracy. He retrieved the kunai and walked back farther then before. He prepared to throw the kunai. When he threw it this time he had perfect accuracy again. It was to easy.
(3/6)

He retrieved the kunai and did what he usually did, walked back farther then before. Again he hit with perfect accuracy. He retrieved the kunai once-more and walked back farther then he was last time. He prepare to throw the kunai. Cloud hit the mark perfectly again
(4/6)

After he retrieved the kunai he walked to the other side of the room, which was huge. He threw the kunai. When he reached the dummy he saw that he had thrown it with perfect accuracy once again. He re-performed the entire process again using more kunai. It was the same result.
(5/6)

Cloud walked outside and picked up different sized rocks. He then re-performed the process of what he did with the kunai. The rocks were harder to throw thn the kunai but with some practice he was able to throw them perfectly as well.
(6/6)
(Hummingbird's Flight learned)

Cross Split
Cloud got into his fighting stance again. He imagined an imaginary foe and prepared for its attack. The foe dashed towards Cloud with a punch. He easily blocked the attack.and grabbed the foes arm. He then brought back his shielded arm and punched the foe's arm, snapping it.
(1/6)

Cloud brought up his shield to protect him against the attack. He had imagined another foe who did the same thing as the last. Just as the foe's fist hit the shield, Cloud grabbed his foe. He then brought back his arm with the shield attached to it and punched the foe's arm, snapping it just as he had last time.
(2/6)

This time Cloud imagined a foe who went for a uppercut. He lean back and grabbed the foe's arm with his shielded hand. He then clenched his other hand into a fist and punched the foe's lower arm. The punch was aimed for the center of the foe's arm. The punch collided with the foe's arm and easily snapped their it.
(3/6)

Cloud unimagined the foe and created another one. This time he unsheathed his sword. The foe ran towards Cloud performing a kick. Cloud side-stepped the kick and grabbed the opponents leg. Using the butt of his sword, he slammed it down onto the mans knee immediately snapping it. Cloud then sheathed his sword and unimagined the foe.
(4/6)

He imagined one more foe, this time someone who knew Taijutsu. The person went for a kick but stopped halfway through to a straight punch. The attack was fast but Cloud had time to react. He side-stepped and grabbed the foe's upper arm. He then brought his shielded hand with an upper cut to the arm. It snapped like a twig.
(5/6)

Cloud re-performed the technique over and over. This was to make sure he could perform it without any trouble. He mastered the technique in no time.
(6/6)
(Cross Split learned)

Third Footing (Back Stance)

Cloud got into a different fighting stance. He had his legs three-feet apart and the left side of his body leaned forward. The right side was equal to the core of his body. He stayed perfectly still while in this stance. He took deep breaths and let his muscles get used to the pose. He was still enough to look like a painted statue.
(1/6)

He started to stretch his arms, legs, and back. This was to help the flexibility of the pose. He stretched for a good 5 minutes to allow maximum flexibility. He then tightened his muscles an the stance become perfectly still like a statue once-again.
(2/6)

Cloud then started to perform light soft punches. He steadily increased in speed and power as he got used to the stance. Eventually he was able to perform full powered attacks. The only downfall was he couldn't perform hat at full speed in this stance. He could perform them quickly, but not as fast as he was used to. This may have been a downfall but the good part was it added much more power to the attacks.
(3/6)

He then performed Bell Ring and other offensive techniques of the style. He practiced them until he could fluently use them. He looked like he was dancing because he moved so fluently. Next was sword practice.
(4/6)

Cloud unsheathed his sword and started to perform minor strikes. He continued this for a couple minutes until he could perform then fluently. He then went on to perform much stronger attacks like Twin Blade and Brush Stroke. After he could perform them fluently he sheathed his sword and prepared for the next technique.
(5/6)

He practiced the technique the same way he ad the others, over and over again. He practiced with and without his sword. After he could perform them fluently he sheathed his sword and prepared for the next technique.
(6/6)
(Third Footing (Back Stance) learned)

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

Cloud made a set of handsigns and said " Shunshin no Jutsu. " He suddenly disappeared and then reappeared 10 feet away. He performed the jutsu again. This time he went 20 feet and he did it instantly. He repeated the jutsu increases the distance traveled each time.
(1/3)

After practicing the technique for 10 minutes he decided to travel a much greater distance. He repeated the jutsu, disappeared and reappeared on the other side of the dojo. He performed it again and reappeared where he once was. He would repeat the technique one more time. When he did he appeared on the other side of the village, although it cost more chakra then usual. He used the technique again and appeared where he was before. " This would have been useful against Alex. "
(2/3)

Just as he did with all his techniques he practiced the jutsu over and over again to ensure maximum performance. This was hard since he hadn't fully recovered from his battle with Alex, but he somehow made it through. By the time he was finished, he was ready to move on to another technique.
(3/3)
(Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) learned)

Flat Step
Cloud got into his regular fighting stance. He then made quick side-step. Only lifting his feet a few inches from the ground. He ended up side-stepping two meters which was a incredible distance He practiced the technique again and again to increase his speed at performing it.
(1/6)

Now he imagined a fire dragon heading straight for him. He quickly used flat step and evaded the attack. He watched as the dragon flew past him with amazing seed, unfortunately for it, Cloud was faster.
(2/6)

He then imagined kunai raining from the sky. He quickly continued to side-step, different distances each time. Not once did one of the imaginary kunai touch him. He practiced using the side-step in this way multiple times. The more he practiced the better he got at dodging the kunai.
(3/6)

This time Cloud imagined fighting multiple opponents. He would side-step then quickly attack. Sometimes he wouldn't be able to attack after the side-step. When that happened he would just side-step again until he found an opening. He continued this until each foe was defeated.
(4/6)

Cloud practiced the side-step until he could perform it flawlessly. He imagined many different circumstances in which he could use it. It was definitely one of the most useful techniques in the style. He only had one more technique he had to learn.
(5/6)

Just like before, he practiced the technique over and over. Being drained from his spar with Alex and training, Cloud knew he would be exhausted when he was done. He only had one more technique he had to learn.
(6/6)
(Flat Step learned)

Sword Drawing Skill

Cloud got into his usual fighting stance. He prepared to perform the technique. It would require perfect finesse. He quickly made a movement with his hand across the body an imaginary opponent. The movement was incredibly fast.It was an attack that could crack bones.
(1/6)

He performed the technique again, this time focusing on the speed and fluency of the attack. He performed the attack, a quick movement of the hand across the chest of a foe. He performed the technique with his full speed, but he needed to practice on its finesse.
(2/6)

Cloud performed the technique again. This time as a defensive technique against an imaginary foe. He performed the technique flawlessly with perfect finesse. He performed the technique again as an offensive technique. he performed it flawlessly with perfect finesse.
(3/6)

This time he would use his sword. He unsheathed his sword. Right after he unsheathed it he performed the attack. The attack was on another imaginary foe. The foe would have had all his bones broken had he actually existed. He practiced using his sword until he could perform it flawlessly.
(4/6)

Cloud sheathed his sword again since the technique had been successful. He practiced it over and over again as he did with ever other technique. He switched between using his sword and hand. When he was done, he was exhausted, but he had mastered the technique.
(5/6)

He took a deep breathe and look at the Raikage some distance off. He needed to speak with her. Relief spread across his mind as he realized that he was done with his training until he was promoted.

Cloud walked over to where the Raikage was. He stood to her side where she would notice him but so he would not interfere with what she was doing. He needed to speak to her about advancement to Chunnin.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~

Might as well get back to training if the Raikage was busy with everyone else. Sighing, the red head stood up and moved over towards the training dummy. She was getting ready to start the taijutsu technique Sanjuu Kagai [ Triple Assault ]. This would require a series of flips and then she would kick out at the dummy's chin.

[Post 1/7]

After learning a one handed hand stand in the first stage, doing a couple of flips should be easy. It would just require a bit of practice to get down and hopefully she would not bust her head in front of the Raikage. After stretching, Suzume slowly started to practicing flipping. First front flips then back, slipping and failing at first but not giving up.

[Post 2/7]

After a few tries practicing, taking a break if she got a bit dizzy. When Suzume finally had it down, she stopped and took one last break before she actually tried kicking the dummy. The red head stretched her arms, yawning softly as she faced the dummy. Not right up close of course since she still needed to flip. Kicking would be hard but Suzume was sure she had good balance.

[Post 3/7]

The first try was not quite successful but at least she did not look like too much of a fool. First she did the flips and those went by just fine. Yet when it came to the kicking part, she only landed one, maybe two successful strikes. Suzume was unable to do more since the way she kicked messed with her balance. She landed back on her hands and then moved down into a crouching position. Had to try again...

[Post 4/7]

The second time was as unsuccessful as the first time. Then the third time and a fourth, Suzume was sure she was not kicking just right. Taking a break, she started to think over how she was kicking. Her movements were a bit too radical and the timing might have been a bit off. She would just have to try different ways of kicking.

[Post 5/7]

Working on timing and changing how she kicked seemed to be helping a little bit. At least now Suzume knew she was on the right track to getting the hang of the technique. The red head continued trying and continued adjusting how she kicked. Her technique was getting better and better with each try.

[Post 6/7]

Finally she was doing the technique just right. A couple of flips towards the dummy and then with a final push, she started to kick. The kicks were fast, no movements too radical, and she landed them on the dummy's "chin". Tucking in and doing one last flip, she finished the technique and landed on her feet. Now that she knew that technique, onto the next one.

[Post 7/7]

With everything coming to a calm and the situation with Sora being put away without a deadly end, Apollo had decided to take some time out and find himself another student. Sora's philosophy while she was alive was all about the 'little ones'. They were the future and were more precious than anything else. So, he had decided at her death that he would find another student and hope they would be as much as a success as Sypher is. Through these means Apollo appeared here, at the Dojo, looking around for someone to teach. This time around he wanted it to be someone who fit his affinity more so. A Taijutsu or Bukijutsu user, either would be fine.

He soon came into the, eyes scanning about. He could hear the children training, trying to become stronger. It brought joy to him and hoped that they would continue to grow stronger. As he began to make his way through the Dojo he heard a large thud, turning to see a young girl coming off a kick to a dummy. From the sight of it she was trying to learn one of his mastered taijutsu, The Black Leg Styles. He watched her for a moment, failing then getting back up again to only fail, but she held tight and got used to the feel of the technique.

A slow clap would be heard from behind her, Apollo giving her an applaud. "Well, good show young lady, though that was a bit sloppy at the beginning.."

Senju Coheed Tokimoru:

"It is difficult for a fool's habits to change to selflessness. ... Because we do most things relying only on our own sagacity we become self-interested, turn our backs on reason, and things do not turn out well."

User ImageThe running movement of an enemy was an easy thing to counter, a slight twist or turn could render them stricken. The kata and the art both shown this fact, as the current steps involved the envisionment of an enemy charging in the process of utilizing taijutsu or another weapon skill. The response to this action was slight, adjusting one's own weapon in a way to redirect the assault of the opponent, rending their movements away. Very quick and decisive, this technique would utilize the momentum of an opponent and open them for a direct assault, though this movement did not allow for the user to turn as easily as the pivot block, it did allow for the user to effectively control the direction in which his opponent traveled in the following moment.

[2/3]

When he spied the angle of deflection he would have undoubtedly sent the opponent on he smirked, realizing that he could have taken any number of actions, from turning to strike, to planting a foot on his opponent's back and shoving him down. The kata, however, continued uninterrupted, following a second movement through the same technique. Slowly and surely the genin realized how firm this technique was becoming, and he let himself move forward, after the final movement of this kata he smacked the blade down on what would have been his opponent's back, then turning and sheathing his tachi.

[3/3]
[Shunkan no Hagane: Stage 2: D-Rank: Deflection One Learned]

For the final bukijutsu of the second stage he decided he would again practice with his wooden clone. Forming the hand seals he knelt down and the second form began to grow out of him, eyes opening in synch with each other they waited a few moments before stepping back and drawing their individual bokken. This technique was one of disarming your opponent, utilizing both their own strike and their own force into throwing their weapon aside long enough to strike. The two figures would bow to each other before drawing bokken up to stance.

[1/3]

As the two opposing forces viewed themselves a smile met across both of their lips before the clone stepped forward and made for a basic chop, empowered by the forward step. The result of the first strike would be that Coheed himself stepped forward in an attempt to meet the force with his own, meeting their blades in the center and attempting to align his in such a way as to swing his clone's away and disarm him. Or so he thought. Instead of meeting the blades half way he met at three-quarters, allowing the clone to push forward with a forward grind and a knee into the stomach. The two would then break away from each other and take stance once more.

"Not the result I was picturing." He muttered to himself as he began to reel back, swaying just lightly before he lifted the blade once more.

[2/3]

This time the two watched each other and estimated the direction the other would take in their assault. The clone once more stepped forward, this time using a basic stab against himself, the real Coheed would however feint a step forward before drawing back into a Backward Step, utilizing the space he gained from his opponent in time, thrusting his own blade out just past the focal point of the clone's stab, then twirling the blade slightly around to the left he would force his opponent to make a circular motion with his own bokken before he moved a basic thrust inwards, in attempt to cause the bokken to fly free of the clone's hands. The motion was a success and Coheed soon found himself pointing the tip of the bokken just outside of the clone's point of focus, signifying loss.

[3/3]
[Shunkan no Hagane: Stage 2: D-Rank: Disarming One Learned]
[Shunkan no Hagane: Stage 2: D-Rank: Fully Learned]

With the loss of the prior match the clone gave a nod and quickly disappeared into a puff of amethyst chakra, leaving Coheed standing nearly alone in the area. Nodding gently to himself he looked around and noticed that there was a girl practicing a form of taijutsu unknown to him, and shortly after she began practicing a man approached her and began to speak of it. Not one to pry quite yet he merely turned his attention down to his sleeves, producing the training scroll once more. This time he turned the second leaf of the page up to reveal the third stage of the bukijutsu. Nodding a few times he decided on which form he would have to practice first. Deciding to break the order he looked down to his blade and began to focus his chakra into the pommel, which soon followed along the blade. He was now beginning on the set to learn the 'Extension' technique.

[1/5]

When he opened his mind to the flow of the chakra at his hands he would draw his hand back and make a slight motion with his blade, following a slight arc in his mind's eye until he made for the first strike. Nothing happened as he expected it, instead a small gust of wind blew around him, as if exasperating his failure at his first try. Shrugging he moved himself closer to a dummy so he would have a more pronounced view of the effects of the skill, instead of just seeing it happen in mid-air. This turned up better results for him, as he saw the dummy shift slightly, a few straws on it's chest snapping in half, though causing little structural damage.

[2/5]

Again he would step forward, this time closing his eyes as he took in a deep breath, letting the flow of his chakra manipulate itself around the hilt of the tachi. Opening his eyes he took a half-step back, drawing his legs into stance before he made for a full swing, a flash of silver occurring before his eyes as he saw the air distort around the tip of his blade, cutting a solid two inches into the target dummy. Nodding the genin smirked, letting his eyes close once more as he drew the sword back.

[3/5]

This time as he took in the view of the world around him he let his hands thrust the blade forward, stopping just inches before the target and watching as the transferring chakra pierced through the target, leaving a sizable wound through it. This motion would be followed by another chop, designated at the target's left shoulder. Touching only the forward portion of the shoulder the extension took through the rest of the shoulder. The sound of straw snapping and the twine that held the filling began to sizzle slightly as it fully fell to the ground. The resultant pounding of the 'fist' then 'forearm' of the straw mat doll on the ground before him was more than satisfactory in what he wanted to see. No longer with a sense of trepidation the genin let his left hand slice through the air on his other side, coming in a balancing kata, before he performed the hand seals for a jutsu.

[4/5]

As he finished the seals of the jutsu he let the words spill forth from his lips.

"Ki Eda no Jutsu!" As the words formed five thick roots shot up from the ground, impaling his target from each direction.

This brought even more of a smile to the Genin's face as he realized he could quickly switch between his bukijutsu and his ninjutsu. This would allow for a more adaptive fighting style for the events to come. Though this was something too that he had not known would be of such import.

[5/5]
[Shunkan no Hagane: Stage 3: C-Rank: Extension Learned]

The next practice in his bid to dominate the Shunkan no Hagane would require a bit more than just practicing his sword swinging or his abilities to block from an incoming attack. The next step of the school was to be able to withstand several forms of blows while remaining standing. To aide himself in mastering this technique the genin began to form hand seals, looking around himself before he spawned five clones of himself, the first four would assault him directly from the cardinal directions, while the fifth would remain just outside of his view and take at him from whatever angle he possibly could. To be able to master this technique he would have to remain standing through their assaults for at least ten minutes.

[1/5]

And so it began. The various clones would begin to circle around him until they reached their origins of attack, one rushing, then the second. The first round he managed to last for roughly three minutes of their rush, lowering his balance enough to push a clone over him and into another, or to angle his body to just enough of a degree to push the clone off. When they finally did manage to topple him it was because of a combination of the wildcard and two of the compasses. The wild-card had come rushing at him from the south-west, unbalancing him and knocking him into the assaulting North and East, who knocked him back in the direction of the wild-card.

[2/5]

The third round consisted of seven minutes, and this time he found himself falling due to dizziness. He had begun to turn himself in stance, watching the various clones as they prepared to jump in his direction, though as they sped up so had his circling. Growling he pulled himself up to his feet and set forward one foot, letting his eyes close and listening to the area around him. Hearing the first of the clones push off of the ground he opened his eyes and looked up to him, pushing his left palm up into the clone's sternum he shoved it over his head, though the next three dog piled him. The brief bit of humor came to this when the wild-card flew overhead, landing against the wall.

"Closer.

[3/5]

The fourth round he met the time allotment, reaching just past ten minutes before a repeat of the last round came about. This time he had begun to practice basic fist-fighting styles as he began to beat the clones away from him, utilizing his better balance to make his attacks stronger. The clones began to move around him quicker and quicker, diving in at him. At times they seemed to succeed, only to be brushed off in the last instant, or at other times he would merely step on their backs as they slid short of him. The smile on his face was implacable.

[4/5]

When he felt he had gotten the better control of his stance he lowered himself into it, allowing his clones to dissipate. His eyes focused on the distance, before closing, then opening as he began to practice the kata of the skill. His eyes drooping slowly as he seemed to be in a trance, his movements began to become more fluid, and soon he found himself having repeated everything he had learned, and finding mastery of the stance within them.

Senju Coheed Tokimoru:

"It is difficult for a fool's habits to change to selflessness. ... Because we do most things relying only on our own sagacity we become self-interested, turn our backs on reason, and things do not turn out well."

User ImageNow with a fair amount of the training under his belt the genin took on a face of deadened calm, finding a target that hadn't already been decimated or impaled as he began to practice yet again. This time he found himself following the kata for Calligraphy, stepping forward on his right foot as he drew from the left side. The forward step added strength to his strike, which made the first cut deeper than he had intended, but with the following strikes he would begin to move his sword as if it were a brush, letting it only grace over the areas of the practice doll that he had wanted to hit, cutting shallow enough to let live, but deep enough to debilitate.

[1/5]

After a few rounds of this he could only smirk to himself as he realized how deep the strikes had moved into the target from the repeated attempts at the bukijutsu. Stepping back he would begin to push the assault once more, this time utilizing his Extension ability so that his blade never made contact with the target, but the damage was still made. So quickly this art had progressed, from defensive jutsu to offensive capabilities, and still he could only think of how much further he could push it. Stepping forward now and continuing the use of extension he watched as the target fell into several pieces in front of him before stopping.

[2/5]

When he did stop he moved to another target, letting the use of extension fade as he began to practice his finesse with the ability, aiming for specific parts of the body, as if writing kanji in the flesh of his opponents. His main cuts alternated between the elbows and upper legs, taking away the speed of his opponent, while allowing them to live. When he realized that alone would not be enough to allow his victory in a real fight he would begin to draw thin strokes across the chest or any other areas between the focal points of his calligraphy, rising the pain factor exponentially as well as the possibility for blood loss.

[3/5]

With the speed of his strokes and the range he presented them he was content, but there was something about the art that didn't sit right with him. Perhaps it was the reasoning within him, he had no feeling to kill yet, nothing to strike forward too... No, he did have something and quickly the emotion flooded to him as he thought of it. The desecrated shrine, his own blood spilled on the grounds his family had long lived in, the fact that no one had been there to help him, and that he had only been there to help himself. He still remembered the day he had woken up from the hospital bed he had been taken into and returned to his home, finding blood on the ground still and the statuette's toppled, shattered, and the eye of the Sharingan drawn in scorchmarks across the ground. This was what he had to fight for, the rage, the unprecedented amount of disrespect he had faced.

[4/5]

Minutes passed and he continued in the kata, cutting over and over again in new variations of his original calligraphic strokes, until he opened his eyes and saw the doll itself was falling apart. Was that all he had to live for anymore? Unmitigated rage, anger, hatred for the Uchiha? Yet here he had come for refuge and the one Uchiha he had run across had no bloodline hatred for him. The confusion mounted inside his own head as he finished the final stroke of the technique, severing the doll at the post that held it up, watching the entirety of it fall and thud gently to the ground.

[5/5]

"One final bukijutsu." He told himself as he began to lean against the remnants of the post that had formerly been his practice target, though this one would be interesting.

Coheed's eyes focused upwards and caught on the electric lines above head, his head tilted slightly to the left before he moved to the pole that held them aloft, pressing his best foot forward. Utilizing Kinobori no Waza he quickly ran up the tree, grabbing one of the cross beams at the top he pulled himself up to the top, then utilizing the same method of chakra control began to step onto the wires.

[1/5]

At first his hands were wobbling to keep himself steady, then the chakra made itself apparent and he nearly hopped with the overflow. Kneeling to steady himself he began to move forward, until his toes began to feel numb and his chakra receded, letting his balance take it's place. Nodding a bit to keep his balance in check he continued stepping forward, wary at first until he felt himself growing more and more settled with the flow and the wind current.

The gusts at his height began to dampen in his mind as his body compensated and his speed increased, allowing him to begin a regular paced walk across them. A smile coming to his face as he looked down to the ground below, realizing that even from this distance the fall wouldn't be fatal, just uncomfortable, and that he was now one step closer to his final goal. His weight adjusted softly as he knelt low, beginning to rush a little bit faster towards the next pole.

He would now continue to walk along the rooflines of the dojo, letting his eyes wander down to the other academy students and genin who still meandered about at this point of the day. When he spotted a few on the edge of the grounds he decided to hop down and place his hands and feet on the electric pole, guiding himself down until he leapt the last ten feet, landing behind the pair and making his way back towards his original starting position.

"Interesting turn of events, more than I expected I'd learn in that little amount of time." The genin told himself as he ran up another pole to make his way over the walls that now separated him from his starting position.

"It feels as if something more is on the line though, some odd static in the air."

Senju Coheed Tokimoru:

"It is difficult for a fool's habits to change to selflessness. ... Because we do most things relying only on our own sagacity we become self-interested, turn our backs on reason, and things do not turn out well."

User Image"Calligraphy is nothing without the use of a brushstroke." The genin said to himself as he began to read and understand the information of the kata on the fourth leaf of the scroll.

This leaf began him with two variations of the same technique, one with the use of multiple swords and one with the use of a single blade. He decided that he would have to take the forward with this technique, as he had not learned the technique of Swordslinging. Withdrawing his tachi from it's scabbard he began to search the field for another set of practice dummies, until he found a set he liked in particular.

[1/6]

At this emplacement he took quickly to his stance, eyes focusing on the target before him. He made the first of his brushstrokes, the blade cutting deep through the right shoulder of his target, severing what would have been several tendons and muscular ties. The same stroke moved down across the arm and chest, lightening the depth until it reached the location just over his liver, digging in deep and exiting it's side. As he saw this his eyes imposed the image of the Uchiha who had attacked him four years ago, those burning sharingan placed primarily on the figure of the man's face, more vivid than any other detail.

[2/6]

The third cut would be one drawing from the target's across it's other leg. All he was envisioning as he made these cuts was the anger for his enemy. Stepping forward he dug his blade in deeper and removed it from a direct slash into the doll's chest, then pulling it back. Several more hooked slashes and a couple small chops followed in suit, his actions reminiscent of using the Calligraphy technique. When he made yet another round of actions he deemed it time to relax, but his body refused this notion.

Several more digs into his opponent and the genin stopped, stepping back to view over the image he hadn't realized he had carved into the object. When he did finally step back he took in a shocked gasp and let his hand outstretch to touch the markings, realizing the symbol within. Coming in closer he examined the different depths and compositions, still somewhat astounded that he had drawn the kanji for cloud into the chest of the practice dummy. His mind however still reeled this image onto the chest of the Sharingan owner who had torn him asunder years past.

His attentions now shifted from practicing the actions to bisecting the actual damages he had made. Pressing his fingers into the gashes created by the blade's quick actions he smirked, realizing how deep they had gotten and how many of these could have been fatal wounds to any normal combatant. Though he soon found himself captivated by the agility and grace of his cuts, each one had found it's mark and dug in to find where any organs would have been. Yet still, something wasn't quite right to the genin. Perhaps a master could teach him why the blade reactions still felt too sluggish in his hands, in due time of course.

Taking the time to look around to the other target dolls in the area he shrugged his shoulders back, rolling them with a pop of his shoulders. His instructors would have surely pegged him for a Bukijutsu artist, should his actions have not decided his fate in using his Bloodline to make his way. It was after all his sole pride and joy, to have been the blood of the first Hokage, yet now, now what was the point of that when he wouldn't even be accepted in by his own people. For that, however, was an eye for an eye standpoint. He had turned his back on them when they allowed him to be attacked, yet had they not... He stopped his train of thought, looking off into the distance for a few minutes before he sheathed his tachi.
