Elly parked her car and headed into the hotel. "I'm sure we'll see Berner around here sometime anyway."

Arina exited yet another market stall, shouting back at the large man who she had been talking to. "Yeah, well...i didnt need your help anyways!" She sighed before looking around, she had been to alot of stalls and asked alot of people who owed her favours, yet no one would even think about entering the tournament with her. "pft...maybe gramps is right, i may be brilliant, but im also brilliantly crazy at times......."

Just then a young man bumped into her with a large cheeseburger in his mouth, it was Berner, apparently he just hit the nearest Burger stand as he spoke through his burger "Oh Sowwy la'y, I wafn' waffin where-" he gulped the meal down "I was goin. Scuse me" he he waved and walked on, she could see him carrying his dual blades and pistols and he looked like he could handle his own in a fight.

Arina blinked a few times before calling after him. "Hey! you...burger face! wait up!" after catching him up, she grabbed his shoulder and spun him around to look him in the face. "you know how to fight right? yes? good!....your coming with me." She didnt wait for his answer as she grabbed his hand and dragged him off at a running pace towards her gramp's shop.

"Huh?!" he was confused and didn't know what was going on as he got pulled away "where are we going?"

"No time....in a hurry...read the leaflet!" She handed the leaflet in her back pocket before dragging him inside her gramp's shop and rushing to the back, leaving Berner to stand on his own in his complete and utter confusion.

After a few moments, Arina returned with her work belt on and a large cart filled with tools and various gadgets. "ok! you understand the rules of the tournament?"

"you only see two of us in here dont you? that means we're partners." She grinned as she said this before pulling a sign up form from her back pocket that she had started completing while searching for a partner. "now all you have to do is sign this."

"Good! but we arent here to only last a few rounds, we're here to win!" Her grin widened before she pushed the cart out the front door and into the busy streets, looking back to Berner. "you coming or what?" She placed a sucker in her mouth before pulling her goggles up from over her eyes.
