Moving to cover for Ruin, Illikan just grinned at the roper he had focused on him, keeping his shield between himself and the teeth while it held onto him, slamming his hammer into the thing and focusing on holding steady- much easier as the energy from the cleric washed over him.

MOVE ACTION
Revenge would struggle against the binding tentacles, but would be unable to free himself.
Quote:
7 vs DC 22 to escape the tentacles
MINOR ACTION
Revenge would pull his shield arm in, divine energy forming around his left hand in a faint bluish-white light. Pressing against his chest, the aura would transfer across his torso, undoing the damage the strain of the binding tentacles were doing on his ribs.
Quote:
Lay on Hands, Revenge spends a healing surge and heals 22 hit points. One use remains.
STANDARD ACTION
"Sorry Valac, I'm a little too tied up at the moment to have the same gusto you have," the paladin would apologize. Shifting his blade in his hand, he would attempt to thrust the weapon towards the creature's eyes in an attempt to fell the beast.
"Here's mud in your eye!"
Quote:
Enfeebling Moonstrike, Crit Fail vs AC.
His blade would veer off the projected path as the pain caused by the roper's attacks shot through his nervous system, his tail slapping against the ground as he let out a brief yell.
With himself now free of the roper's grasp, he would turn and offer an appreciative nod to his fellow Tieflings. While one was in charging distance, it was also apparently asleep and that didn't seem particularly noble; the other was currently endangering the others, so it was a threat that needed to be neutralized first.
DOUBLE MOVE ACTION
Revenge would jog over to Kuori's position, panting from the exertion as he momentarily stopped near her. "I'm fine, I'm moving to flank while the human keeps its attention," he'd say lowly to her before starting to circle around outside of its visual range.

Ruin plunges his sword into the gaping wound left by Valac and the ropers eye rolls up in the back of its head. With a mummer it falls over dead.
The Roper holding Ilikan tries to bite him but the warden is able to use his strength to keep all of his body parts away from the ropers mouth.
The roper in the back of the chamber begins to stir. His eye pop wide open, signalling his return to the waking world.

With the Roper in front of her dead, Kuori turns her attentions, and her weapon, on the one that had been grabbing her earlier. "Hey pervert! Time for revenge!" She gives the Tiefling a wink, and charges in, slamming her weapon into the ground, releasing an ominous wind and a ghastly wail, then she lifts it once more and brings it down on the Roper. Purple light, dancing with darkness like a flame coalesces at the weapons grip and into Kuori's hand, she tosses it at Revenge.

Seeing the tieflings showing up, Illikan holds his shield to keep position, delaying until Revenge can circle around while he and Ruin have it distracted.

Seeing the tiefling move into position, Illikan waited until the moment Revenge caught its attention to strike, trying to take advantage of the distraction to cripple it for the other two to focus in on.

The roper in the back of the room lashes out at Valac with both his tentacles but only one manages to hit. (Crit, 20 damage, grabbed)

Remember, R1 is taking +2 damage from all attacks due to gravesite. If he dies in it Revenge heals an extra 5hp.
Kuori raises her morningstar, bathed it light she begins smashing it into the Roper, aiming right for the eye, "Stop." Thwap. "hurting." Thwap. "My." Twap. "mumbleFRIEND!" Kong!

Seeing his opening Ruin would shift and stab the beast.

Valac side stepped one tentacle but caught the other one in the shoulder. Stepping inside the roper's reach Valac refunded it's attack with added interest before the tentacle wrapped around him grabbing him...
..But the Roper couldn't hold Valac for long as he tore himself free with a mighty yell, grabbing the tentacle that held him and used it to brace himself to stab it...
...Valac plunged his blade deep into Roper almost burying his sword to the hilt...
...Before violently ripping it out causing a minor wound.
"MORE! MORE!" Yelled Valac enjoying the brutalistic violent fight.
With the roper left confused from the rapid pulsings of the threatening energy from him and the paladin (and mark juggling) it seemed to settle in anger on the armored tiefling. Illikan didn't miss a beat as it turned away from him, capitalizing with a wide swing of his hammer coming in low to the creature's base, throwing its balance off and opening it up to the others while it latched onto Revenge.

Kuori and Ruin stepped right up on that, laying into it. With the burst of energy and the opening as she swung at the eye, he moved closer to Revenge, slamming his hammer into it again.
