Such a thing is pointless, worthless, and useless in a shinobi world. Come to think of it, it's all of those things in all worlds.

Pfffft. Yeah, if anyone actually had the skill to use it effectively. The usual interplay between smitten characters usually doesn't go any higher than this:

"Oh, I love you."

"I love you, too, darling."

"I hope nothing ever comes between us."

"Nothing will ever come between us. Our love is too strong."

"We'll weather any storm."

And then they proceed to make poor attempts at erotica-like love scenes.
