The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"And this is a complete violation of our agreement." Shadow sighed as she was moved into the new cell. She went and laid on the cold ground since the new cell didn't have a mattress as she tried to take off the new shackles.

Not soon later the guards came in to remove the shackles and toss in the mattress. The door was then slammed closed and locked again.

"Bastards..." She muttered before moving onto the mattress and falling asleep.

((Me thinks that either we should skip to the next day or Damien should visit Shadow or something... >.< Still kind of stuck with Jian though... ))

Damien decided to give Shadow another visit, just to make sure the guards weren't picking on her...too much. He got up and headed down to the cell where he thought she still was.

Shadow heard something near the other cell where she was. She didn't say anything and waited to hear if there was a sudden panic when someone didn't know she was moved.

Once the Absolute Leader got down to the cells, Damien looked around in shock at the empty cell with the cell door laying on the floor. "What the...WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!!!" he bellowed.

After a small chuckle Shadow called. "Down here. The guards got sassy with me, so I knocked down the door. I didn't run away though. They got all up in arms and put me in chains and threw me in here. Then when I told them this broke our agreement, they took them off and left."

Not much later, Damien arrived at the cell block. "Open up" he ordered.

The guards shivered a little, but let him in.

Shadow was quiet as Damien entered. She was sitting on the mattress, leaning against the wall, her arms folded so that he didn't have to look at the cuts from her attempts to get out of her restraints.

Damien didn't see Shadow because the cell door was completely solid and the part Shadow was in was completely walled off from the rest of the room the guards were standing in.

"Why was she moved, and why is the cell door laying on the floor?" he asked with obvious irritation in his voice. "Care to explain, anyone?"

"She was out of the cell, walking about. We tried to restrain her and put her back into the cell. She got mad at us and unhinged the door." The guard replied tersely. "She didn't actually leave, after she did, but we felt it would be necessary to move her to a more restricted cell so she doesn't escape."

Damien made a puzzled face. "Why was she out of her cell? Who gave permission to let her out?" he asked.

"We don't know. As far as we know, no one did. She left on her own." The guard replied. "Would you like to ask her yourself?"

"Maybe I will. Was there anyone else who came down to the other cell?" Damien asked, not knowing about Anne-Mari.

"Yes. There was a lady doctor. I think Shadow was reading some of her files. That was it." The guard replied.
