The thud of boots proceeds his appearance. A man steps nimbly in to the bar, his hat brim pulled down at an angle covering the face of his oddly shaped head. Some might think him a beggar with his mud-covered boots well worn at the heel, the threadbare duster pulling at his shoulders, his faded dusty jeans torn through the knees. He removes his hat, smacking it against a muscular thigh. Odd looking, this Jack, with his coyote face and ears. Not man, not quite animal either.

Sending a neutered mule after a wild animal. To capture and control? To break? Or destroy? Same thing, and typical of your kind. Your emasculated mule will not think twice to inflict injury, rather he will enjoy it. The thrill of the hunt, the scent of fresh blood as a paw is caught in a trap, broken and almost gnawed to the bone in a frantic attempt to gain freedom, it's own blood and fur caught in it's teeth. Tell me, have you ever worn a collar? Spiked on the inside, biting into your flesh and drawing blood every time a so-called "owner" yanked the leash to break your spirit?

His teeth glint in the candlelight, his eyes narrowing slightly. So many before him, captured by those who would cruelly attempt to tame them, enslave and control them. Not knowing, nor caring that which they sought to own would be destroyed in the process, if not broken then killed.

Death would be more appealing than what you have in mind, ladies.
