Bast took a swig of tea, draining the last of her drink as Mononoke reappeared. The golem had returned with a couple of large bags of food, and handed one to Mamoru before handing the other to Bast. The woman thanked the girl and reached in to the bag; she pulled out a large thermos of soup, some crackers, a small plate of steak, and a warm plate of cookies. She immediately drank the soup and reduced the crackers to nothing, but paused before going for the steak.
"Nah, I'm good now. If you don't mind, I think yours just has ramen and cookies. We're kind of tight on food at my place," she said, reaching for her empty tea flask and then remembering its state. Almost as if she had been expecting it, Mononoke leaned over with a tea kettle and refilled the flask. Bast thanked the girl and set about devouring the rest of her food after taking a drink of ginseng.

I leaned about in my chair, content with those still within it, or not. "Enter, young one." Two stood to go retrieve the door, opening it with his silent composure. "How may I help you today?" I questioned from behind a stack of completed paperwork. Moving it aside, it toppled into a filing bin ever so neatly.

Tapping a chin with the left hand, the right hand fiddled with a lemonade glass's bendy straw. "Your elder family member, Howaido, is due back shortly, I feel. He's been through hell & back, so I'm sure that you won't mind if I ask him to be your sensei?" Nodding, I took it as a rhetorical question, given the Hatake family's famous honor codes. "We have emergency squads that get drawn up when necessary, but you'll find that we consider them slightly out-dated... hence the lax attitude. If you really want a squad, the other young man in my office & the med-nin training in the academy sounds like a great combo if you join them." Stopping the various fidgeting for a moment, I reached down to an open drawer & pulled out the genin's headband, tossing it his way, the metal glinting from the window blind's filtered sunlight. "Not sure if they remembered to give these out this year, but its yours."

Underneath San's mask, an interesting expression would crawl across his face. He didnt want to point fingers, didnt want to well or accuse anyone of anything, despite any reason why he followed through with his actions. Qucikly comming to a conclusion how to do this, San spoke in the most professional tone he could. Let be what would come.
"After the first insertion into the mettalic forest, Ganchou who was earlier disguised as lilith came to me with a hunch that something was amiss. He had retrieved papers from the hut saying that Siniku was involved in this, and that he was under a black ops mission. Seeing as this fit the timeline, none of us where alarmed. But then piecing the puzzle together it became aware to us, also in the letters, you knew the flowers power and the jashin issue going on. The one that really hurt me, though i refuse to allow it to affect my judgement; by our calculations at the time you had known Siniku had gone dark and had not set up a mission to extract and retrive him, or at least figure out his status. Ganchou and i are to take the blame: we organized the expedition and the mission, labled "Mission-X," with the purpose of getting Siniku back home....back home to us....or at least his body anyway. The terrorist known as the IBD has been eliminated, shown only to be the pollen of the flowers you knew were already around here. Either way, the threat has been dealt with for now. But...Siniku is still dark......"
San hated giving the report like that. Hopefully Mam would appreciate the honesty of his actions as well as the honest of his report. If asked to do it over again, this Satetsu would definatly do it again. "No man left behiend." His Captain had gone dark.....and he hadn't even gotten to see San grow into the ANBU he was today. Let come what may come......San stood still after his report for Mam to respond.
