Well,by the time the woman got her mouth working
"PEOPLE!---" Miyako had gotten her tanto out to cut the rope and wouldn't you know it, as the first slice went to the rope, instead, the hilt of the tanto would slam into the back of the woman's head, silencing her once again. "Oh Kami...no..." She spoke quietly just in case the woman could still hear her.

Nothing was easy it seemed. Miyako set the gag back in place and tilted the woman's back against the ground against a wall so it'd look like she'd hit her own head in her exuberance and headed back out to the main room to wait for people.

At this point, as soon as you combat types want to arrive, you can. Denbe's walking Kagae, Kojiro's dragging Ginko the Bandit, Hisashi is bringing Takashi the bandit (or at least, "grabbing" him, depending on which context he meant). Zanzen is ?

You don't need to arrive NOW, mind you, in case Denbe and Hisashi wanted to say/do anything immediately with Iwao.

Kojiro used the fiction of problems carrying the wounded female bandit to give him time to respond. " We should wait until we're back at the village to talk, Denbe-san. We do not know who could be listening."

Zanzen would wipe his blade off and turn, gazing into the forest where Kuemon was, frowning. This wasn't what he thought he'd be doing with his training from the Kakita Duelist School. He expected more of going about courts, dueling other people to improve himself the normal aspects of said life. Such as the normal getting married to someone based on what his father wanted.

The thought made Zanzen shake his head. He doubted his father had given him his sword to be used like this. Walking with the others, he'd stay quiet.

Kojiro realized something and gently set Ginko down. "This heat is getting to me." scowled the Scorpion. "Here we are, coddling these bandits by carrying them. I wonder what's worse? fighting the bandits or the lands?"

With that, Kojiro would turn to Tengu-san and bow politely. "Cousin, since you are so used to this land, perhaps you could return to the village and select several appropriate peasants to carry these men back? Also, we will need to arrange quarters. to sleep in during the night. Could you please arrange these things?"

Denbe would wait until the strange Scorpion vanished, if he would leave, to get into the questions. He didn't necessarily agree that it was necessary to fetch peasants to carry these bandits, but it would give him a chance to speak.

"I take it he is one of the Scorpions here, Bayushi-san?" The Hare began. "What is going on here?"

The samurai then started to carefully drag the wounded woman back to the village.

"We were unable to fully assess the village." The scorpion commented as he dragged the red headed bandit towards that location.

@Along the way back

"You missed all the excitement, Brother." The scorpion said as he dragged the unconscious bandit.

Actually, for most of the trip, Kojiro has been dragging Ginko the bandit, not carrying her. She is scratched up from rocks and brush and such along the way, now completely filthy from being dragged across the forest floor. Also, she's Down, not Out, so is still conscious enough to be aware of the experience.

She doesn't seem happy to suddenly be picked up after-the-fact by Kojiro, but doesn't seem any less pleased to be put back down after walking a comparatively short distance.

"Truthfully, I find that they could possibly serve more use to us alive than dead, so I have no qualms about taking them prisoner," Bayushi Sanzo would explain. Though, as he listened to Kojiro's request, he would comment, "I've found that traveling in numbers is a boon to our defense, Brother. If you would rather take point, I shall lighten your burden from you." Even keeping his lowest dice, his etiquette beats Kojiro's courtier.

For the moment, Bayushi Sanzo remains by your side. Though you have been walking some time, it truly isn't far to the village now; in better light conditions, you might be able to see it already.

Denbe glances up toward the village- likely occupied by several other Scorpions which he still wasn't convinced would be on their side, even if their enmity to the bandits seemed to have won over this one for them moment. He didn't like the idea of wasting time, waiting for the strength of these to come back, or for the others to show up, however. The sooner they were properly tied and readied for interrogation or execution, and Kagae was resting off his wounds, the better.

"We're close. At this rate we should just get back to see them suitably imprisoned and take our chance to have a little rest."

They had been traveling from early light until nearly dawn again, and the Hare didn't relish the prospect of having to march another day or engage in full scale battle without proper rest.

Kojiro cursed to himself as he saw the female bandit's condition and would agree to Tengu-san's suggestion. "Aye. I fear most of my strength has deserted me."

The bushi would take a quick look as his attention was now not on making sure that Ginko didn't get too battered on the path back to the village. "What of the axe wielding bandit? Is he living or dead?"

Zanzen would pull himself from his musings and turn, quickly starting back the way they came. He had thought one of the others would have gotten the man.

Denbe, with Kagae leaning on his shoulder and kept upright by his help, looked to Kojiro hauling a bandit as he spoke, and Hisashi with another, to the mystery Scorpion and Zanzen with... nothing.

The Hare sighed, and turned back to marching toward town. If they would have to fight the bandits again soon, it was very unlikely he'd be ready for battle again, and if it was not soon... it shouldn't be their problem.

Miyako, as you wait, you soon hear a disturbance outside.

If you go to look, you would see Ujina Denbe, Yoritomo Hisashi, Bayushi Kojiro, and "Bayushi Sanzo" approaching, with a slew of injured/unconscious people! Not long thereafter, Kakita Zanzen would show up with one more! Everyone seemed to be carrying one except for Kojiro, that lazy bum.

Unless someone has any brighter ideas, I assume you guys are heading to the headman's hut, where Sanzo has been staying, and Miyako is currently keeping watch in?

Feel free to deal with your prisoners as you see fit.

The samurai would frown down on the bandits they had brought with them. "Cousin, is there someone here who can tend to their wounds? Also, we need them to be restrained in some manner."

Kojiro would then steal a glance at Miyako to see by her expression if she learned anything.
