Fantastic. The game barely started, yet Cameron managed to screw up already. The bludger he had hoped to hit Shayna with had instead slammed into the beater himself. At least Ravenclaw's having the same luck, he realized upon seeing Verily miss her bludger and have it crash into her. Deciding to give his beater skills another try, the boy swung at another bludger, aiming for Gypsy this time.

In return for her arrogant thoughts, the bludger she was trying to aim at Jacob, slammed into her stomach instead. She doubled over, almost retching from the impact. Coughing and trying to catch her breath, Ver was sure that she probably now had internal damage from the beast of a ball. Once recovering from the blow, she raced after the offending bludger and aimed it once again at the other team's beaters, this time going for Cameron.
