Sal glowered a bit, but said nothing as Duran kissed Marcha... a surge of electricity went up his spine in agitation, with a loud buzzing, cackling snapping noise. He was acting jealous, and didn't fully realize it. Salanio pretended that the noise from his back-shock didn't happen.
"Roughly a couple weeks before we check up on him. Why?"

"So much time is amazing..." said Duran still grinning now rubbing Marcha's belly. "The why I asked that is actually important to you. Though why should I answer this question now? You did not answer my question earlier and I even told you why I am not in Hell. All of you are almost not freely sharing anything with me when I have been giving so much freely and have put much more than I said I would into your mission to help you than I said I would with little compensation in return do you not think so? Questioning a fallen angel and not giving what is asked of you unconditionally if it does not contradict something Satan told you to do is very unwise. I have not needed to tell you anything and yet I do. You all have understandingly never learned this and I really do not feel like being the one to teach that lesson to you, but you are trying my patience and making it oh so tempting. You yourself are growing irritated and just created some ozone and nitrogen monoxide. Our constant game of trying to get on each other's nerves unintentionally or otherwise likely due to a lack of even a drop of trust is causing Marcha to tense up. Do we not share one thing in common? We both like my dog in some manner even if one of us is not sure how. Or am I mistaken?"

Salanio scratched his nose in thought. A long moment's silence passed.
"Point taken. Truce then. The only reason I really don't share what's on my mind, is because I've learned that it comes back to me with Heegh taking it out on my hide in the past.
But if you're so curious..."
Salanio took a deep breath, as if about to share something that was locked away deep inside of him.
"I'm thinking about freedom. Away from Hell, away from Heegh. Granted, I don't know what in the name of the Burning Lakes I'd do with it just yet, but to have these insufferable chains off my neck, to no longer be subjected to even the random harsh tug of his pulls, would be.... wonderful."
A dam broke in Salanio, he found himself trembling a bit.
"As far as I know, the chains are impossible to break, though that's most likely a lie told to me as well from rumors I've heard. There's some individuals that can shatter the chains, but their identities are always shrouded, and I can never learn enough.
I'm also thinking, wondering, if Heegh did something to us. Not just horrid mistreatment and abuse before he "got better" in his attitudes towards me, Nym, and Nerissa, but... I get flashbacks. Of something crawling in me somewhere, but I can never pinpoint it."
In fact, Heegh had done something to the young hellhounds. To insure they would never go completely out of line, and the cause of many deaths in others before he perfected the method, Heegh had infested them with a small, constantly moving creature that would twist them more and more towards Hell's will and desires, making them more malleable to Heegh's wants. In part, it was also driving Sal more mad, and may be causing much of the lack of emotions in Nee. Heegh had planned to soon infest Ophelia and Banquo with such creatures, but they had fortunately escaped.
"Lastly, I was thinking about questions I had in the past, questions that ended up getting myself into trouble in Hell. Heegh didn't like them..." He paused, wondering if he should even say what they were. "...involving what I've heard is the One True God, and that basically Heegh isn't a deity himself. I don't know what to think there.
To sum it up; You're right. All I know how to do is from what Heegh taught me, and if it counts for anything, I hate that b*****d more than anything. Why? I'm not exactly sure, but I have so much hatred for him. And I can't disobey him still."
Glancing at Duran for a moment, he took a deep, somewhat cleansing breath, his body having stopped shaking after releasing something he'd been holding onto for years, like draining the sickness from a long putrified wound that needed to be purified in order to heal. He then turned his attention to Marcha, and ignoring Duran, seeking something he wasn't even sure of that his body was telling him, he kissed the top of her head, petting her a bit more. He found it soothed him somehow.
"So... do you mind if I ask again, what you think of Heegh yourself? And why you asked about Sylin?"
There was no sarcasm or distaste in his voice for once. Just a sort of tired, weariness that seemed to come from suffering in Hell for so long.

Rosemary thought on that. She did do Inakum simulations and they tended to fire at her a lot. "That normally would be fine, but right now might not be the best time. Galantros needs to check for tampering on his baby first because that could be very dangerous if it was tampered with. I also do not believe right now is the best time to become overly distracted by something because it will allow things to sneak up, on me at least, more easily."

Duran muled over what Salanio had said trying to think of the best way to answer him. "Some of those things I cannot answer very well or fully because the less I tell you the better off we are. Heegh has discovered the way to easily extract information from mortal creatures should he not feel like they are answering him well and fully so it is best for you to continue to act as you always have around him...
"Most creatures who knew Lucifer do not care for Heegh. What you think I may think of him might be right. I however hate Lucifer and another thing you just mentioned above all else. A theory on deities is that they should be able to create something from nothing without spending energy or enough to make them tired or have the need for any materials. Does Heegh do this when he creates demons? I have not seen him create any.
"I have not figured out how to break fallen angel chains. Lord Heegh is putting a lot of trouble into trying to capture someone he can simply pull back, do you not think so?"
Duran had Salanio lay flat looked him over with a device over his eyes as he searched for the alien creature. "If there is indeed something it sounds like he is trying one of Jiluzix's tactics which has proven successful, though I do not know why he needs to when he has you by the throat already and Jiluzix does not." He stared at a place for a while, but the thing he wore blocked others from seeing his gaze. "You are an element of energy, lightning specifically. Lightning is electrical energy and electrical energy flows best in a complete circuit. It can jump in the air as well. Inside, you have a natural energy flow stronger than most other creatures due to your lightning. You should be more sensitive to changes or interruptions in your energy flow than most are do to its essentialness to your wellbeing. Foreign objects would have a different flow depending on the object."
He then suddenly stabbed him about three inches into the leg. When he pulled it out, he made the item he had disappear and repaired the wound and tear in the pants. He did not get the creature but said, "that is for annoying me earlier. As for Sylin, I wanted to know your time frame before you were supposed to see him again. They have returned home, but we will do nothing now and maybe nothing for a couple days for they are probably on high alert and now is not the opportune time. Think about everything said and I mean really think about it. I will tell the others what I want them to know so do not tell them anything I just said yourself. Dinner should be done by now. Go help yourselves. I am not hungry. But first tell your siblings to come to me right now if they want their own outfits too otherwise they wont get one."

Sal gritted his teeth at the pain, though it quickly passed. Guess he couldn't fault the fallen for wanting to vent SOME frustration, maybe he had been a bit bone-headed. Still didn't mean he didn't instinctively growl or glower a little. Nodding at Duran, he went to go gather his packmates for dinner.

Nerissa yawned, pulling her nude body out of the bed as Sal called to the hounds about clothing. Hmm...she supposed clothing would be nice. The woman yawned again.
Not bothering with stupid sheets or any kind of covering--Nerissa didn't honestly remember she "needed" to, she was so rarely human--Nee left the room where Nym was still snoring.
Nee approached Duran's room, her feet tread softly on the floor. "Hello." She said, her voice soft, although still emotionless.
------
Adira smiled at the little ghost "Hello there. I am Adira. These are Ophelia and Banquo" She said this cheerfully, but suddenly she frowned. "I am sorry for causing you such distress."

Duran did not react to her nakedness and handed her something to put on. He did the same thing with Sal and put his hand on her back, only he petted her a little like he did earlier, and said to her, "Now picture yourself wearing something you would like to wear, but it has to require the same amount of cloth or less as what you currently have on."
After that was done he informed her that the people they are waiting to be home are home, but he also told her that he thinks it would be unwise to go now and maybe for a couple days as they are likely to be on high alert.

Sal glanced at Nym, pondering something for a moment, before making his decision. Making his way over to the snoring hellhound of stone, he chuckled quietly to himself, pointing a finger from each hand on opposite sides of Nym's face, hovering just out of reach as he let loose a massive amount of voltage that surged between his fingers. He let a loose small shock of static wake up Nym, just enough that he would see the brilliant brightness of voltage above his face from where he laid... it was more than enough to even hurt Nym with his stony build up. Sal was going out of his way to be a bit of a pest.
"Wakey wakey, Nym. Our host wants to see you about certain important matters."
Seeing that he was likely to retaliate, especially after he let the surge of lightning between his hands stop, he chuckled.
"I wouldn't do that. Our host wouldn't want us fighting and ruining things in his home. Considering he IS a fallen angel, it wouldn't bode well for us."
Laughing to himself, he left the room, juggling the bolt of potent lightning between his hands.

"Of course. I was only suggesting later, but even then, maybe you're right that it would be wise to wait for this whole situation to be over with."
Blinky seemed to smile at Adira and her hounds and shrug a little. "It's no real problem! Friend of our friends is a friend of mine!"'

Nee pictured a grey and blue wrap kimono dress and it appeared on her. She nodded. It was all good. "So...Can you tell me anything more about the hound in the picture?"
----
Nym jumped with the jolt. He growled. "YOU DAMN MUTT!" He said, angry. He'd been having a fairly nice dream thank you very much. He watched the other hound leave and reflected upon what he had said. Mutt was right. He sat down with a sigh....Duran could wait while Nym got his bearings. ------
Adira smiled again, "Oh well I...thank you." She said to the ghost.

Duran put his hand on Nerissa's shoulder and played with her hair a moment... He loosely did it up loosely and put in a butterfly shaped leather stick barrette with three decorative sharp sticks: One horizontal in the middle and the other two diagonal through holes in the wings. "You look lovely, but are you sure that is what you want? They are hard to move well in."
Nerissa instead asked him about the hound in the picture. He gestured an invite for her to sit on a chest at the foot of his bed. "Well, she was brilliant, was a little cold and cruel if she did not care for a person, yet knew when she needed to be kind. A strange trait, but it has its uses. She loved to get into fights with other dogs normal or otherwise, but knew when to behave. Beautiful in human form with a venomous gaze and would not know anyone unless they could dominate her, but even then it was on her terms. A wonderful companion."
"She had finally decided she wanted a litter after observing Marcha and let the best man have her. Unfortunately she was pregnant when Heegh took over and to my knowledge gave birth while Heegh had me all tied up. I never saw her again and soon after I heard she died.
"In fact I was told that her pups had perished too, however you are the right age. You obviously have similar markings. She could be your aunt or your mother. Would you like to know? With your permission of course, would you allow me to test that? I still have her genetic pattern." He took out a little needle. "All I need to do is a little p***k and then I can do some tests to compare your genes to the hound in the picture. You will have the answer quite possibly right after dinner."

"It's..." Nee saw the validity in his statement and thought of the outfit again. Nothing above her waist changed, below the waist, the skirt grew shorter, and she wore leggings that touched her mid-calves. She nodded. Much better. With the introduction of the next topic, Nee's curiosity peeked. She would love to know who her mother was, although she would never admit it. This feeling was fueled by the desire to know the one she had been told she killed at birth. She was proud to know that this woman (who could be related) was powerful, cruel, and yet beautiful. Nee pictured a warrior queen of old. She smirked at the thought.
Emotionless as she was, she had a love for the past--a need to know as most orphans have. The strength of the need to know by-passed her usual demeanor.
Nerissa Stuck out her arm, shoving the sleeve back, "I would like to know. Please." She added the last word only as an afterthought.

Duran drew some blood from her arm and capped the needle and put it in a container. He took a tissue and put some pressure on the puncture until it stopped bleeding, which due to her favorable healing system did not take very long. "Hmm... your mate, I presume, is not at the other side of the door. Well let us give him some time. If he is not there by the time you leave this room, I will likely stab him in the leg or arm for making me wait when he gets here. Please, tell me a little about your day. How went your flying lesson?"

Nerissa shrugged indifferently to both the threat to her mate and to the question about the flying lesson. "Not my preferred method. I enjoy running. It was fine though. It took a bit of time to get used to. Marcha was helpful." The bird she had chosen was a hummingbird--small and light, it seemed to be a good representation.
