Oooh, you'd love it, tea ninja, they really are, they put on a great show. Nick comes off very introverted on stage and just sort of looks quietly down at his guitar the entire time and then just disappears quietly (I think it suits him anyway), but Karen is an electric performer (Though people do raise their brows a bit when she... uhm, puts the mic in her mouth to scream during Art Star...), and the lighting during "Phenomena" is so hypnotic and beautiful, I won't forget it, for a second it's like you're floating in a galaxy. I hope you get to see them live at some point - I saw them during the Show your Bones tour (they still did Tick and the good dance numbers, of course, like Art Star and so on) - I really wanted to go see them when Fever to Tell came out and they went on tour but I wasn't close enough to a capital city they were visiting at the time to make it.
Did you hear that story about Karen once falling face-first off the front of the stage? Apparently she hit her head and showed up to perform the next time in a wheelchair and neck brace or something and sang away because they couldn't cancel the show. XD
Ugh, I LOVE the Queen of the Night Aria, it's fabulous. It's the ultimate Opera Diva song. Psycho Killer, too. (Not a Diva song, but you know what I mean)
Okay, Christmas spirit talking here but I couldn't do "S" without repeating myself since last time without saying...
