"Just a moment." The older man said, finishing up the last bandage. "There you go." He said, then helped Cedric up. "Don't exert yourself, young man."
"P-perhaps you should tell that to the m-master instead of me. I- I must return to my duties." The maid told Shepard before leaving the room to go back to the fields.

Cedric let the man take hold of him "don't worry, I'll be fine on my own" eye forced himself to stand up right, despite the pain, he couldn't manage but he didn't want to admit it "well...I suppose I could use a guide" he finished with a goofy smile"
Shepard watched as the maid left, he contemplated what she had just said "perhaps I should" he said to himself. For now he would have to rest, he was still too weak to be out on his own.

"Alright then." The old man said, helping him out the back door away from the chaos where the plane crashed.
While things were still going on, Hector continued to play beautiful music that resounded throughout the place. After two songs, she stopped in order to go make herself the tea that was brought up to her.

After finishing her cup of tea, Hector picked up the tray to bring it downstairs. Normally, she would have called a servant to do it, but she figured they would be busy helping clean up. She opened the door and brought down the tray, walking passed Shepard who was on the floor.

Cedric stepped out and saw the marvelous place, he could only look around awestrucked "amazing" he spoke before turning to the old man "I envy you...getting to live in a place like this" as he finished his sentence he thought of his home, hardly any vegetation and mostly dirt, what Cedric wouldn't give to live here.
Shepard coughed, he began to feel uncomfortable just lying there, he opened his eyes and saw somebody walk by "excuse me!" he managed to say before the person walked away "could you help me up?" he said trying to force his weak body to stand on its own.

Hector said nothing. She set the tray down and turned to look at the man on the ground. 'Hannon...' She thought from the sound of his accent, but still said nothing. She bent down beside Shepard and began to help him up.
"I tell you, it wasn't always like this." The old man replied. "It took us five years to get it to this state. The mountain terrain is very rough, and the years of constant raids and harsh winters made the place similar to a wasteland. But... the new machines help us break through the layers of rock, and the plants love and ease the heavy smog from the city. We're hoping to turn all of Ander into a place like this." The old man replied. "but... if you really want to see some greenery, go to Norra. That's actually where I'm from. The place is a sea of green and wildflowers. There are forests and hills flourishing like I've never seen anywhere else. And though Hannon has a lot of desert, their oasis lands are quite beautiful as well."

Cedric listened to the man's story while enjoying the scenery "Turning Ander into a paradise, now that's a dream" he said. A few flowers had caught Cedric's attention, he limped slowly towards them, they were some he had never seen and now he would never forget them. When the man mentioned Norra the smile on Cedric's face faded "so I've heard..." he thought back to his time in Norra and how he would never return. "Hannon is beautiful...but I prefer vegetation" he said as his smile returned "I don't mean to be to to intrusive to your personal life but, how did you end up in Ander, in this villa?"
Shepard saw could see who the person helping him was, instanteley he recognized him. Shepard tried harder to pull himself up, he almost fell back but he grabbed Hector to prevent himself from falling back.

Hector slid when Shepard suddenly grabbed her, but she caught herself and managed to get him sitting up. Still, by shear willpower, she managed to get him to stand by putting most of his weight on her.
"It's a long story." The old man replied. "I came from a family of doctors in Norra, and I was able to get an apprenticeship for the royal house's personal doctors. I traveled a lot in my youth, studying plants and such, but the king became a bit paranoid. He started killing all of those who were traveling in pursuit of studying in the royal house, even though it was fairly common. I was in the garden when it happened, so I managed to escape and I ran to Ander. I heard there was nothing but savages and wastelands here, so I figured they would never think I went here. And they were right. I happened to meet a poor noble at the border, Hector's father, and I never imagined that such a place like this would exist. People were starving, the land was unusable, I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to live there. Turns out they were nomadic people driven out of their lands to the mountains a hundred years before by those in Norra. You see, they discovered gold mines on their land, and found it easier to drive out the natives and take it all for themselves. The people of Norra got richer while the people of Ander were stranded on the mountains with barely enough food to feed themselves. I felt bad for them, so I worked for Hector's father for years, and now I work for his son. So far, this is part of my accomplishment. The previous Lord Thunderbird was an excellent man, but Hector could never be like him. He had already lost so much, and there was too much more at stake."

With Hector supporting him Shepard managed to stand up, he cringed when he stood but it was bearable, he turned to Hector and nodded "thank you Sir" he said and turned around "I can only assume that you are baron Thunderbird?" he said as he leaned against a wall.
Cedric's heart got heavy as he listened to the mans story, it seemed as if everybody had lost so much, and Cedric had givin everything up...he felt like a real fool "do you ever think about returning to Norra?" he asked the old man, in a strange way Cedric felt like he was asking himself this question.

"I do occasionally. Over time, I realize I like it here better." the old man replied. "Yes, the land is rougher and harder to tame, but it feels more worthwhile."
"I am." Hector replied tersely. "And you are?" She asked, looking at him carefully.

Cedric smiled at the man, somehow those simple words just made his day "you certainly are living the life" he said respecfully. "I think I've seen enough..." Cedric said "I should get back and rest"
"Shepard Sir" he said bowing his head "I wanted to personally thank you for letting us into your wonderful villa" he tried to stand without leaning against the wall but was unsuccessful "we are indebted to you"

"Not the life. My life." The old man replied with a light chuckle. "Here, let me help you inside." He said, giving Cedric a hand.
"Your welcome." Hector said tersely. "You... might want to lay back down. You look like you're going to fall over."

Cedrics smile grew a mile wide, what a perfect way to end his tour "thank you" he said as he limped along side the man. He tried walking a little slower so he could take in as much of the view as possible.
"no need to worry about me Sir" he started sliding down the wall so he could sit down "...guess I'm worst then I originally assumed" he said with a weak laugh.

"Bravado will get you nothing in that state, but if you so desire it, I will leave you." She replied almost poetically despite how harsh her words were.
The man continued to help Cedric across the lawn and to the front door. A different servant opened the door for them both and the old man helped him inside.
