[Zephit]

[[That is a pretty good point. Maybe this post will help the nonsense a little.]]

Zephit looked over at Kits, watching her as she pulled her boot off. Her expression was an obvious one, even Zephit knew what pain looked like. Still, it looked like Karrie was handling it, and he'd rather not get in his way. Kits being hurt was not the time for them to be fighting with each other.  

[Cuwen]

Amy sighed in utter relief when she saw Karrie just help Kits sit back up. Nothing else happened. Karrie didn't even look like he wanted anything else to happen. He just simply helped her back up.

Then Amy heard Kits say she thought she twisted her ankle. Now Amy knew she couldn't just sit still and silently any longer. She quickly got up from the couch, set Jack on the couch, and quickly hurried over to Kits. She knelt down beside her and tried to look at her ankle as best she could without touching anything.

"Well, in case you did, make sure to keep your shoe on until you get home."

She completely forgot to even say hello first.  

[Chef_Karrie]

*hardly even notices Amy coming up to them* Too late for that, besides, look at those boots. That wouldn't be good to keep on.  

[Zephit]

Zephit got up, not announcing his presence, but going over to the counter quickly. Quietly he requested a bunch of ice, in a bag, which was served to him remarkably quick. Then he, just as quietly, took the bag of ice over to Kits and the others, holding it in front of her face.

"You should put this on it, and wrap it up to keep pressure. Karrie is right about the boots, though, keep them off." Zephit mentioned very astutely, kneeling down to press the ice onto her ankle.

"20 minutes every couple of hours until the swelling goes down." He added, as if reciting knowledge from a medical book.  

[Cuwen]

{{Hardly even notices Amy coming to them? *smacks Karrie* What is with all these weird character non reactions tonight? Is it something in the air? lol.}}

Amy indeed looked at Kits' boots. "You're right. Kits, you'll probably have to let us help you home tonight. You're in no condition to keep those boots on just so you can walk home in them. You're likely to twist your other ankle that way."

Amy looked up in surprise when she heard another voice join them. She was even more surprised when she saw who it was. Zephit was the last person she expected to see. She hadn't seen him in days. She honestly thought he had left town and just left his clothes at her house.  

[Kits Rose]

*Jack runs over to Kits*

They're almost too tight normally... *tries to move her ankle and winces* Ow... neutral

*looks surprised when Zephit tells her what to do* How do you know all this, Zephit?  

[Chef_Karrie]

((He's concerned about Kits...))

*finally looks up and sees Amy and Zephit right there* Oh. sweatdrop

Right. Too bad Velcore's not here. That would make things much easier. *looks around to make sure he's not* Well, we'd better get you home so you can get that ankle up. *stands up and waits for the others to move so he can help her up*  

[Zephit]

Zephit just stayed kind of quiet at Kits' question, not really sure how to answer. While he had he read a lot of medical books in his spare time, hoping they would make him less hurt, he had never thought to retain that knowledge. It just kind of spilled out when no one else took charge.

"I read it once... I think." He shrugged lightly and looked over to Karrie.

"Let me help you pick her up." Zephit suggested, trying to be helpful to Karrie in regards to the situation. Carefully he draped one of Kits' arms over his shoulder so he could stand up with her.  

[Cuwen]

Amy stood up as well, but she remained close to Kits. She was going to help her up, too. She moved one of her hands to the ice pack so that she could hold onto it while she and Karrie helped Kits to stand.

But luckily, two stronger guys were there to help and make up for Amy's pathetic upper body strength. She quickly got out of the way.  

[Kits Rose]

Well, I'm glad you remembered it. *when Zephit takes one of her arms, reaches the other out to Karrie, who takes it and the two of them lift her up*

*sits meowing sadly up at Kits*  

[Zephit]

"Don't worry, Kits will be okay. We'll make sure of that, right Karrie?" Zephit asked the other male with a smile on his face. Trying his best to cheer up Jack. Zephit had been in a similar situation once, when his young master tripped on a playground.

"Well, we should get her home to rest. I'm guessing you know the way?" He asked, reading to take Karrie's lead.  

[Chef_Karrie]

Of course we will. *realizes that Zephit is talking to Jack and looks down at the cat* We'll make sure she gets home safely, Jack.

Yeah, I know where she lives. It's not far from here. *he and Zephit slowly start walking Kits home* Amy, would you grab Jack so he doesn't get under our feet while we're walking? *knows she'd want to follow them to make sure Kits is all right, and this gives her a reason to*  

[Cuwen]

Amy leaned down and picked up Jack with her free hand. Her other hand was still holding the ice pack. "It's okay, Jack. We'll be right behind Kits. And like Zephit said, we'll all make sure Kits will be fine."

Her eyes gazed at her book on the couch. She felt almost physically ill at the thought of leaving her book at AS, but she couldn't carry it with Jack in one hand and the ice pack in the other. Those two were more important right now, though, so she had to force herself to leave the book here.

She turned back to Tommy and asked him to take the book back behind the counter and to guard it with his life until she came back. She also told him not to read it.

Then, she got ready to follow everyone to Kits' house.  

[Kits Rose]

*limps along with them, glad her tall friends are going slow for her*

((I have to go to bed. Night everyone.))

Amy follows everyone out of AS, praying that Kits will be alright. She wished Miro was here to use some of her healing magic on Kits.
