The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Simple. I'm not going to let word out that I'm fine. I'm going to let people wonder if the Chief General and I were caught in the storm and whether they'll try to use that to take power or hope for my return. Ms. Ravenstone will be my witness" Damien said.

"Ooh! That sounds like a lot of fun!" "Yeah! That's really interesting!" The twins replied giddily. "And you don't have to worry about us." "We'll be good."

"Alright. You two be good. I have to make another call before the storm hits. I will talk to you later" Damien said. He said his goodbyes and hung up.

After speaking with Monica for a bit, the Absolute Leader headed back to his guest room.

((Ok. Here's what I was planning. Buhahahaha!! ))

As Damien was walking back to his room, there was a sudden loud scream followed by a loud crash, but it sounded like it was coming from quite a distance away from Damien.

Damien heard the scream and jumped a little. He turned his head in the direction he heard the noise from. "What the hell was that?" he pondered out loud.

Jian peaked his head out of the room and saw Damien. "Hey, did you... hear that?" he asked as some of the others, notable royals, also began looking out their doors with curiosity. A few knights rushed down the hall, making sure not to hit anyone as they did, as the onlookers moved restlessly.

"Do you think we should go take a look?" Damien asked. He wondered what it was, but Jian was already in his silk pajamas.

"I would say yes, but with this many people, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. I hope it was nothing to be worried about." Jian sighed.

"Still, I'm curious..." Damien thought to himself. Still, it would be best not to get involved and be nosy. Besides, he would need to get the rest of his uniform on first. He had an image to keep. "I guess if it's important, we'll be informed" he said. Damien thought for a moment. "You don't think it's that group after Shadow, do you?" he asked the Chief General.

As one of the soldiers passed by, one of the other world leaders grabbed his shoulder. "Hey, what's going on?" He asked.

"One of the nuns has been murdered. It seems they've left a list of targets, including the Great Priestess." The soldier replied.

"What?!" He replied as many of the others were alarmed by this.

"I think we should investigate. The future of our great nation may depend on what's going on. Quickly. Ge redressed" Damien said to Jian, then quickly went inside his room to get the rest of his uniform on.

"Alright." Jian nodded in agreement. He went back to his room and got dressed, making sure his uniform was on perfect. He then walked out of his room and waited on Damien.

Damien was tightening a white glove on his hand as he stepped out. "Alright, let's go see what this madness is all about" Damien said, then began walking down to where he had heard the crash before and where everyone seemed to be rushing off to.

Jian nodded in agreement and began down the hall. As they approached the door, there was a guard standing at the door.

"Please return to your rooms. We've got the situation under control and we will get to the bottom of this." The guard told them.

Jian looked passed the guard's shoulder and say Lianne, her white robe stained burgundy with blood as she cried for the deceased. The person who had been killed, a nun, was covered to be taken to forensics while ten people looked about the room with rubber gloves, searching for any possible clues.

"What's going on here? Is this place under attack?" Damien demanded. He wondered if it was assassins after Shadow...or if it was assassins after the important guests at Mt. Angelo. Were he and Jian targets?
