It is so not blasphemy. The second one may have sucked more, but its first is by no means, an exception to that entire series of failure.

I wasn't saying it failed because it sold poorly, Shin. I did play most of it.

It was horrible because it gave you little direction to go on, and they tried to make areas expansive, which they did, at the cost of making it a bit simpler to go to where one wants to go.

The RPG elements were fine. It was the long periods of nothing coupled with the nothing that was put into environments to make it uselessly big.

No. The fact that developers think they can make easy money by just putting a name on a box is why its crappy. I have met no one who played the first fable and didn't enjoy it.

I actually liked the open environments though, but if thats why you don't like it then there is nothing to argue about. The second game strips away all of the open environments, but has an incredibly boring mining system that you need to use to get better weapons.

Speaking of video games... I finally found my character, and I can't wait for [ Anarchy Reigns. ]

Kotsu; Fable III was a step up from Fable II, but it was a far cry from the original. The developers need to step their ******** game up (no pun intended), and quit ******** bragging. Go back to the god damned basics, use and build off of what they did right in the beginning. That's the only way anyone's going to even consider buying IV (sadly, they're doing it).

Hey! I liked VII! It's not the greatest one in the franchise (that was I, IV, and VIII!), but it's still good.

I dunno what to think about that. I'll probably give it a try though. n.n;
